The most beautiful part of @yamujiburo hanamusa's lore for me is Ash's emotional evolution and acceptance. For a character that surprisingly did not evolve much in its own journey (in a show full of evolutions) and made the same mistakes year after year, this proximity with Jessie is my most expected part of this story

Alright Tumblr, I’m putting my faith in you. I’m currently raising funds for a Palestinian family trying to escape Rafah. (The border is currently closed, but it will reopen and when it does, I want all four them to be able to leave). They need $15k and they’re only at $1.3k. UPDATE: Because the last fundraisers were blocked by PayPal and we now have to start from scratch to get to their 15k goal, I’m organising on the family’s behalf to get them funds. Once the goal has been reached I’ll be able to transfer the money to them directly. I really hope this works this time.

The “Mr Mime is Ash’s dad” theory mildly irks me NOT because I don’t like it or whatever but bc the canon reason Mimey is there is just SO MUCH FUNNER. For plot related reasons Ash dresses up as a Mr Mime in a circus just outside Pallet town but gets kidnapped by Team Rocket. Brock and Misty are like “oh they’ll let him go once they realise he’s not a Pokemon, we should tell Delia that he’s gonna show up at her house in a Mr Mime costume so she isn’t freaked out” but then an ACTUAL Mr Mime shows up at her house before he does and because Delia is as faceblind as her son she mistakes it for him. And this Mr Mime is like “oh I like it here” and starts helping out around the house doing chores in exchange for food. And then when Ash DOES get home he’s like “mom why is there a Mr Mime here” and she goes “oops! Well he helps more around the house than you so I’m keeping him” and does. Mimey is not Ash’s dad. Mimey is his step-brother and canonically the favourite child

Delia and Joy are definitely the physically strong gfs, Delia has mom strength and Joy has nurse strength, that are both forces to be reckoned with 💪 And that strength has the added bonus of sweeping their gfs off their feet ✨
