It was extremely cathartic to write as well. ;D She needed this. She did the "too late" response in the actual scene when he said he wouldn't let her fall in love with him(seriously, Adam. You can't tell her what to do). But I wanted her to actually say the words I love you both bc Adam needs to hear it so bluntly and she needed to say it so bluntly after denying it to herself and others for so long, and then sitting on it even longer. She does very much turn it into a challenge; "I love you, even though you said I can't, what're you going to do about it?" which is the most Mallory thing ever. As was calling him out. He's doing a really bad job hiding his feelings for her, so even if the practical part of her brain gets why he's trying to deny them, she disagrees emphatically.

Her walls got obliterated by the Trapper fight in book 2, so she's more than happy to rip Adam's apart barehanded if that's what it takes to get him on the same page as her. She does understand why he's afraid, especially with everything he's lost, she just doesn't think hiding from potential pain is the right course. And seeing as she still has nightmares/PTSD from watching Murphy FUCKING STAB HIM (+ the Trapper fight), I think she's more familiar than Adam realizes with how much this might hurt her. :)))))) I should have her point that out; for her being so "fragile" , he's gotten just as hurt just as many times, the only reason they knocked her down longer is she doesn't have super healing. So yeah. She gets it.

It was really fun to write the flow of sparring and weave it with their conversation ngl. Adam definitely let her land more hits than she usually would've gotten. xD (he did say he'd do what he could to assist her. Working out anger/hurt toward him was included in that)

The only way I think this could be any better is if Mason got to watch. He would've been 100% on Mallory's side, greatly enjoyed her brutal honesty(and combat form), and probably given her an approving shoulder tap and let her use his rooftop spot to decompress. But I don't think their conversation would have been so honest with an audience, so alas. Maybe he heard it from halfway across the Warehouse and smirked in approval anyway.

if you have a switch, theres free demos for pikmin 3 and 4! and theres a pkmn go type app called pikmin bloom! also heads on hey pikmin. it literally sucks and its best to avoid it, dont try to play it if you dont want a headache. the new pikmin browser game also sucks but at least its not a headache to play!

This morning i finally decided to play Our Life: Now & Forever Demo, after procrastinating it for months, and kid you not I LOVED IT.

The art is SO GOOD, the characters are all so CUTE and Qiu got me giggling and kicking my feet. I was scared I wouldn't enjoy it like I enjoyed the first game but I was WRONG BOI-
