i actually originally planned for fern's POV to phase out after the first act of the story. but the feedback i've gotten from my irl writing group has UNIVERSALLY been, "if we lose fern's narration, i will kill everyone in this room and then myself," so.... she's getting tangled up in some more plot threads. fjsjdjdj.
