so i said in a post recently that the title troublemakers would be for a fic idea i have that follows albus potter and lucy weasley-wood but i have more ideas of what this fic could be

there are 2 main ones. the first is simply have it follow all/most next gen characters and just be little next gen snippets. the second idea takes a bit more explaining

so i hc percy weasley, oliver wood, penelope clearwater, and marcus flint as best friends. percy and oliver get married and adopt 3 kids and penelope and marcus get married and have 2 kids.

basically, the four of them are very powerful when it comes to magic. like very very powerful, possibly even more than dumbledore. penelope and marcus pass this onto both their kids and katie, percy and oliver’s youngest, is also very powerful, though they aren’t sure why as her parents are unknown (i have a few ideas of who they could be but nothing is set in stone)

anyway, for the second troublemakers idea, it would follow these three discovering their shared power and using it to fight some form of evil, possibly a new faction of death eaters or some other dark lord. the three of them are godsiblings since their parents are best friends, but they’re all different ages so it might be interesting.

as i already said, katie is one of the kids. she’d be a first year when the story starts, and she’s a slytherin. cedric adrian flint is a slytherin but a year older than katie. his older brother, devyn percival flint, is a 6th year ravenclaw.

their parents are honestly kind of scared of what could happen so while the kids know about their own power, they don’t know about the power of their godsiblings

idk what the full story would be but i think it could be fun

i def have kid headcanons and i def have them for percy’s crew as well

i made up percy and oliver’s kids w/o knowing lucy and molly weasley were characters but one of their kids is still named lucy out of coincidence. they have three kids: lucy, skye, and katie.

lucy is a ravenclaw and beater for the ravenclaw team. she becomes a prefect and almost head girl but this goes to rose instead. (no matter what universe bc i have a few, lucy and rose are always the same year.) she’s also captain of the ravenclaw team. she’s a complete blabbermouth and once got a bludger to the face after she insulted a beater on the slytherin team. she regrets nothing

skye is two years younger than lucy and a hufflepuff. he doesn’t play quidditch but becomes a prefect and is at least considered for head boy if not made head boy

katie is a year younger than skye, plays beater and then seeker once albus graduates, and is in slytherin. personality-wise, she’s basically percy if he was really extroverted. she becomes captain of the slytherin quidditch team in her 5th year.

meanwhile penelope and marcus (who i ship, for some reason) have two kids named devyn and cedric (after cedric diggory ofc)

devyn is two years older than lucy and a ravenclaw. he’s a chaser for the ravenclaw team and captain in his 7th year. he and cedric are naturally both really smart, so he also has that going for him lol. devyn is super outgoing and is best friends with dominique weasley. he loves welcoming new students at the beginning of the year.

as for cedric, he’s… let’s just say he doesn’t take after his namesake. cedric is, according to not only his godsiblings (lucy, skye, and katie) but also devyn himself, creepy. he’s in the same year as skye and is keeper for slytherin’s quidditch team, but he turned down being made captain so katie was made captain instead. he’s skye’s main competitor for head boy but i haven’t decided who actually will be head boy. he’s really quiet and mostly just watches people tbh

do you have any kid head canons that tend to stay the same for you whenever you think of them?

Like for Percy's girls I always imagine Molly and Lucy as twins and being in different houses typically Molly in Slytherin and Lucy in Hufflepuff

With Molly being into quidditch but more out of spite that grew into love because early on into first year she said something about playing it with her family and some older students immediately started being assholes and tell her she won't be able to play on the team which she took as a challenge and ended up growing to love the sport alot more and maybe or maybe not becomes captain that kinda depends

While Lucy is a Prefect who has no interest in being head girl like it's offered to her but she immediately declines because she never had any intention of doing it and is mostly a prefect for the perks even though she's a natural at helping the younger kids. I also tend to think of her as an obsessive artist but not a traditional artist something more hands on clay, stained glass,woodworking,wand making something like that

I also have thoughts on the main kids I give Oliver and Marcus though not as many

I normally give Marcus a little girl i tend to call Maria which I swear I saw somewhere but I am unsure where if I'm thinking of a flintley au she's normally a couple of years younger then the twins and ends up in Ravenclaw just because the idea of Percy having a kid in every house But the weasley house is funny to me and because I like the idea of people joking about them needing to adopt another so they can have a full set anyway. I tend to think of Maria as a bit more of a cry baby because I like the idea of Marcus trying really hard to take care of her but overcompensating and coddling her a bit too much though that's more when she's younger not like hogwarts age

For Oliver its a little boy who's name I keep switching on (currently it's Cypress though) he is a griffindor I tend to think of him as "Oliver 2 Electric Boogaloo" because I firmly belive Oliver has ADHD and that shits hereditary I do think his son would have a different special interest/hyperfixation though just still don't know what

But I'm at the point where im getting very rambling

yet another next gen oc intro post. today’s subject: dominique’s friend group

so i found my original next gen character list with a bunch of ocs, most of which i don’t use anymore, while working on another post. while working on that post i realized i haven’t made any friends for dominique and she has no cousins in her year (with my hc ages) so i repurposed some ocs as her friends and here they are

btw when james sirius is 17 (this is what i’m basing age off of) dom js 16 and a 6th year, and so are all her friends

devyn, like his father marcus flint, absolutely lives and breathes quidditch. if y��all have seen some of my past posts you know i ship marcus x penelope clearwater and devyn is the oldest of their two kids. (penny hates quidditch, but devyn followed her into ravenclaw, so she tolerates his rambling.)

devyn has a younger brother, cedric (named after cedric diggory, ofc), who’s a second year slytherin. devyn and cedric are two of percy weasley and oliver wood’s godkids.

devyn plays chaser for ravenclaw’s team and becomes captain after the current captain, aisley, graduates. he’s dating dylan and has been since 3rd year.

dylan is mr. unathletic goody two-shoes, but he loves watching quidditch more than almost anything.

dylan is technically muggleborn because neither of his parents are magical, but his mum is a squib and he grew up in her magical pureblood family.

dylan and dom were actually friends first. they met in the library and dylan dragged devyn and his naturally very extroverted personality into the group after that. winter was simply one of their dorm mates and another nerd who bonded with dylan over some history thing probably, and the rest is history.
