swifts and prey
from Dennis Hlynsky
The birds, big shapes with wings, are Swifts that fly in the sky of Praha. The little dots that are spread a farther apart are bugs … food for the swifts. I would guess this nightly devouring has been going on for centuries on Petrin Hill. These recordings were made as a storm front brought rain.

Black Vultures 2013? Dennis Hlynsky time dissected- the world broken down into frames. Reminiscent of early high speed shutter experiments- the static foreground is very effective. Dennis says "Shot near Cape May NJ ... little did I know I was trespassing while I recorded the original. Afterwards I was told I had a gun pointed at me just in case I did anything weird."
