Well diabadasses, tis the season to be jolly !

I am full of coughing and poorly, but it's officially time for chocolate in the morning, and my advent calendar comes with 24 days of selfies which I am posting here.

Keep an eye out for food police - they like to lurk near Christmas !

Sometimes my housemates like to catch sneaky photos of me doing diabetes things. I think it just must be so weird to them to see me go through all this diabetes stuff. They knew me for a year with out diabetes but then suddenly they were there with me when I was diagnosed and in the past year and a half they have been with me every step of the way while I have been learning about how diabetes impacts my body and life. But since they don’t have diabetes they just live with a diabetic it’s a very different perspective. It’s not something they are constantly aware of like I am but it is something that makes an appearance in daily activities when we hang out and impacts their lives in a big way. They’ve had to bring me to doctors appointments, blood work and help me through some of my roughest highs and lows. (Top photo I am using mysugr app to log food, middle left a grumpy high diabetic eating stevia sweetened chocolate and feeling done with diabetes shit, middle right taking insulin for breakfast after blood work, bottom photo answering my moms phone call and taking insulin for frozen yogurt)

I'm loving the pump patches! So light weight, breathable and pretty 😊
