𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 hits her square in the face comes in a surprise . sure this place was a battleground , hell a blizzard of snow and icy chill and it was not the first snowball the queen has seen thrown outside of the king of hell's castle , but she did not expect to be hit by one herself . ❛ alright , who threw that ? ❜ there is mock anger , but little did the guilty party know that the seelie queen held her own snow weapon behind her back while asking that question .

JULIETTE  WATCHES  AS  PEOPLE  skate  along  the  ice  ,  turning  to  offer  commentary  to  julian  ,  though  he’s  distracted  by  vasilkaera  as  she  materialises  from  the  crowd  while  somehow  managing  to  balance  three  glasses  of  what  juliette  assumes  is  some  non-alcoholic  concoction  involving  the  dragon’s  favourite  —  passion fruit  juice  — alongside  a  bowl  of  cut  fruit  and  gummies  .  julie  accepts  the  glass  from  the  dragon  ,  though  her  attention  returns  to  the  ice  ,  tuning  out  the  conversation  between  her  friends  as  she  takes  a  sip  of  her  drink  ,  confirming  her suspicions  .  “  i  think  i’d  probably  fall  on  my  face  .  ”  she  comments  to  another  nearby  spectator  . @dihstarters

well, it looked like an ordinary mirror. one of many the seraph had been drawn to through [ ... ] the essence that imbues them, it seems. that essence spilling off this one now in billowy, smokey waterfalls that has pinnikolai watching spiritedly ▬▬▬ and they’re looking without looking, focal point skimming edges, just out of range. but when that same essence comes elsewhere, focus flickers, lips curve. natural response takes them and they try to catch it, force corners back down, but the mirror they stand before reveals all. they don’t see @irigy, but they sense him. coincidence ? he’s the reason they’d approached the object. ❛❛ what happens if one looks into them ? ❜❜ they ask behind a smile, yet to turn.

𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐀 𝐀𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐍 attends the ball in a white dress with silver sequins . dark hair is twisted into a long braid , the jeweled flowers a perfect addition to the hairdo . due to her former choices , she kept her jewelry simple , finishing the outfit with a silver ring with a pear shaped diamond . nails are painted in a nude that matches the color of her lips . expectations for the night are neutral - - - - she is curious to see what hell holds in store for its guest , but will be relieved to return to the comforts of her own home .

The image of his ballroom made him smile, the thought of the dark oak flooring, the black marble columns and the star of the show, the all-glass dome above. He even thought of the possibility of heavy snow darkening their view with the beautiful, awfully enormous chandelier not hanging, but floating in the air with magic. Yeah. That did put a smile on his face. "Perhaps when the rest of our siblings decide to grace us with their presence." Envy was people-watching as they spoke, letting that warm, exciting feeling sink in whenever he caught a pair of eyes nervously glancing away from them. "It is settled, then. Whenever you feel like it, brother, you're always welcome in my castle... alright, perhaps not early tomorrow morning. I plan to debauch myself tonight."

SHE STEPS AWAY from the dance floor , the vampire she'd been dancing with trailing behind her as she makes her way towards their friends . she takes her glass back from one of the demons , taking a sip and glancing around . the shadowhunter murmurs to the nearest member of her group that she's going to go get something to eat and turns to head towards the food , lacing her fingers through kaya's when the demon girl's eyes follow her , tugging her along with her . ayla pulls her to a table with food , looking at the other person already there perusing . “ this is quite impressive . ”

THE  DRAGON  REACHES  FOR  ANOTHER  bite  of  a  cake  she’d  snagged  ,  beaming  at  rory  .  “  i  saw  a  video  on  tiktok  …  and  now  i  really  want  to  try  a  jalapeño  wrapped  in  a  fruit  roll  up  …  i  wonder  if  they  have  any  jalapeños  and  fruit  roll  ups  so  i  can  make  one  …  ”  she  muses  ,  pushing  her  plate  towards  her  niece  .  “  this  is  good  ,  you  should  try  it  .  ”  she  offers  .

𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐍 for it's ice cream . or rather any food ; just torment , evil and screams . . . but the only screams happening tonight was for ice cream . literally . it brought delight to the sin watching others take a taste of the icy treat only to let out a their best scream ━━━ lust following suit as she licks her cone , her own echoing through the hall then . ❛ i don't know who came up with this idea , but i doubt it was the king . ❜ she laughs . ❛ but regardless this is damn good ice cream . ❜ probably the best she has tasted .

𝐕𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐄𝐑𝐀 𝐃𝐄' 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐈 plans to taste every single food option available to her .

pik arrives in a cream-colored suit, matching pinstripe buttoned dress shirt and vest, crooked bow tie and a pair of worn cream-colored rubber-soles accentuated by real flowers growing right between toes. hair politely askew. beige is their forward color, but browns, blues and pinks pepper the ensemble ▬▬▬ and they’ve ms. p to thank ! as the suit once belonged to her son.

To say that Danny was feeling rather conflicted about tonight was an overstatement. Excited to spend time with Marina, intimidated to be in the realm that was crawling with the very things he hunted, nervous about being a good enough dancer, worried because technically, they were still working, with Auraline and Leo attending as well. What he was definitely sure of was the fact that he would probably hurl sooner rather than later. But the gentle hold of his girlfriend's hand in his brought him back down to earth... or, well, hell in this case. He forced himself to take his gaze off of the winter wasteland that was their view on the way to the castle and instead looked at Rina, a smile immediately growing on his face before he moved to kiss the back of her hand. "Did I tell you you look beautiful yet, mi vida?" In all honesty, he absolutely did tell her. ever since she woke up that morning he'd been telling her. But he'd never grow tired of it. "Want me to tell ya again?" And that was a threat.

𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐀 𝐃𝐄' 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐈 was placed in the mercy of talia , kaelie and violet when it came to her appearance for tonight's ball and the trio pulled all the stops to make her look like the principessa she is — a corset and full length tutu ball gown , softly shimmering in the ice around her with half her hair twisted up and curled to divinity . the only say the girl got was in her shoes , refusing to wear heels and opt for simple flats ( so she can keep up with the long legs of a certain prince of darkness ) .
