There is an Unaccounted–For GrandDuggar!
Forsyth #3 is #30, But We Only Know About 29.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, so many of you sent this in. Thank you! I am so happy to finally have an updated GrandDuggar count. Thank you, Jim Bob! Thank you, loyal readers!
[ Link to the Video at the Relevant Part (~5:30) ]
Up until Joy's video, we know about 27 GrandDuggars—25 Already Born (Mackynzie to Charlie), and 2 In Utero (Duggar–Wissmann #1 and Forsyth #3). It was also widely–speculated that Siah + Lauren and Joe + Kendra quietly added to their broods this year. Knowing that there's 30 GrandDuggars, and three unaccounted–for, Duggar Data now considers Duggar–Swanson #2 and Duggar–Caldwell #4 to be "confirmed" births. (See This Post for more information.)
Alright, so that brings us to 29 Known GrandDuggars. Here's a full list, in birth order—
(1) Mackynzie Renee Duggar–Keller 2009
(2) Michael James Duggar–Keller 2011
(3) Marcus Anthony Duggar–Keller 2013
(4) Israel David Dillard March 2015
(5) Meredith Grace Duggar–Keller July 2015
(6) Spurgeon Elliot Seewald November 2015
(7) Henry Wilberforce Seewald February 2017
(8) Samuel Scott Dillard July 2017
(9) Mason Garrett Duggar–Keller September 2017
(10) Gideon Martyn Forsyth February 2018
(11) Garrett David Duggar–Caldwell June 2018
(12) Felicity Nicole Vuolo July 2018
(13) Ivy Jane Seewald May 2019
(14) Addison Renee Duggar–Caldwell November 2, 2019
(15) Bella Milagro Duggar–Swanson November 8, 2019
(16) Maryella Hope Duggar–Keller November 27, 2019
(17) Grace Annette Duggar–Burnett January 2020
(18) Evelyn Mae Forsyth August 2020
(19) Evangeline Jo Vuolo November 2020
(20) Brooklyn Praise Duggar–Caldwell February 2021
(21) Fern Elliana Seewald July 2021
(22) Madyson Lily Duggar–Keller October 2021
(23) Duggar–Swanson #2 c. March 2022
(24) Truett Oliver Duggar–Nakatsu May 2, 2022
(25) Duggar–Caldwell #4 c. May 26, 2022
(26) Frederick Michael Dillard July 2022
(27) Charlie Duggar–Burnett September 2022
(28) Duggar–Wissmann #1 Due Before Forsyth #3 (See Note)
(29) Forsyth #3 Due May 23, 2023
Note—We don't know when Hannah is due; however, we can be all–but certain that her Due Date is before Joy's. Joy is due on May 23, 2023, and she announced on October 5, 2022. Hannah announced before Joy, on August 30th. Theoretically, the very earliest one can announce a pregnancy is Day 29. (That's the day the woman would be expecting her period, but it didn't start.) It's highly unlikely Jer + Hannah announced that early... But, even if they did, Hannah's Due Date would be May 8, 2023, which is earlier than Joy's.
If Forsyth #3 is #30, there's 1 Unaccounted–For GrandDuggar—so, let's go over the possibilities for whose child it is or how this can be explained.
This Post is really long, so... After the jump!
Could Joy Be Expecting Twins?
No. Per Joy's YouTube video, her OB confirmed via ultrasound that her current pregnancy isn't twins. Also, if she was expecting twins, Jim Bob wouldn't have described her baby as #30. He would have said #29 and 30, if he knew it was twins, or just #29, if he didn't.
Could Hannah Be Expecting Twins?
No. Jer + Hannah haven't shared much about their pregnancy, but they've shared enough to know it's not multiples. In the Pregnancy Announcement, Jer referenced a "precious little baby"—not babies. And in the Sex Reveal, Hannah wrote: "We cannot wait to meet our sweet baby girl"—not girls, or a boy and a girl, or whatever.
Could Lauren or Kendra Have Had Twins?
Probably Not, though we can't definitively rule it out. The Car Seat Photo featured one car seat, not two; and the Baby On Lap, Stroller, and Nursing Photos featured one baby, not two. That said, we don't have any evidence that proves they didn't have twins.
Could Some Else Be Pregnant?
Yes. And, if they are, they must be due before Joy—otherwise, her baby wouldn't be #30, theirs would. Joy is due May 23, 2023. So, the Unaccounted–For GrandDuggar is due on or before May 22.
Who is the other pregnant Duggar? Well, let's start by determining who is isn't...
Joy and Hannah's Pregnancies are known, so it's not them.
It's not Anna. Josh is in prison, and has been since December 9, 2021. She had Madyson on October 23. Even if she'd somehow managed to get pregnant between October 23 and December 9, she would've delivered by now.
It's not Abbie. She'll be <40 Weeks Post–Partum in May 2023.
It's almost certainly not Jill, since she would've had to conceive again within 8 Weeks of Freddy's Birth.
Irish Twins are rare, even for Predictor Families, so it's unlikely to be Katey or Kendra, who both gave birth in May 2022.
That just leaves Jessa, Jinger, Lauren, and Claire. Out of that group, Lauren is probably the least likely to be pregnant now, since she just had Baby C in or around March 2022. If she gave birth again in May 2023, that would be a very, very short—unusually short, even among Predictor Families—child spacing, which seems unlikely. (Especially in light of the longer gap between Bella and Baby C.)
Jessa, Jinger, and Claire remain. Of those three, Claire is definitely the likeliest candidate, as she's very overdue (~4 SDs) for Pregnancy #1. Jinger is also currently overdue, but less overdue than Claire (~1 SD)—plus, she seems to have jumped off the quiverfull bandwagon. That just leaves Jessa. If it's her, she's early—but, only by 3 Months. (Seewald #5 is currently forecast for August 2023.)
Whoever it is, they probably aren't that far ahead of Joy. Currently, it's Duggar–typical to announce a pregnancy at ~94 Days Along. If there was an announcement today, that would correspond to a May 6, 2023 Due Date. And if they were due on the latest possible date, May 22nd, they won't be "late" to announce until November 18th.
Could Someone Else Have Secretly Given Birth?
(Note—I'm talking about another "secret birth" on top of the now–known secret births of Baby C and Duggar–Caldwell #4.)
Probably Not. This would imply that the Unaccounted–For Grand has been born as of today, November 1, 2022. Right away, we can rule out a number of Duggars—
It's not Hannah. She hasn't been married long enough to be on Baby #2. (She and Jer tied the knot on March 26, 2022.)
It's not Joy. She said that this is Baby #3. If she'd had a secret birth, she'd be on Baby #4, not #3.
It's not Abbie, Jill, or Katey, since they are all <40 Weeks Post–Partum, and we're sure that their latest baby was their 2nd, 3rd, and 1st, respectively. (No chance they snuck in a secret one.)
It's not Kendra. She had Brooklyn in February of 2021 and she's believed to have given birth again in Late May 2022. There's no way that she's given birth again since May, 5 Months Ago. And, likewise, there's no way that she squeezed another pregnancy in between Brooklyn and the May 2022 Baby. There simply aren't enough days. It's not possible.
It's probably not Anna. While it's not impossible, it's a really tight timeline... Like, really tight. She would have had to get pregnant within <7 Weeks of Madyson's Birth, which is completely at odds with her typical spacing. If it did happen, M8 probably arrived in August, maybe Early September.
It's probably not Jessa. She is still active on social media, so it's pretty unlikely that she wouldn't have announced a pregnancy.
That leaves Lauren, Jinger, and Claire. Out of the group, Jinger is probably the least likely suspect. While she doesn't share her girls' faces on social media anymore, she just shared a Halloween photo that shows two toddlers with no infant in sight. As for Lauren, it is possible she's had 2 Children since Bella; however, it would require two really close spacings, since that's 2 Children in 28 Months. As for Claire, it's definitely possible she's had a baby by now. (She got married in February of 2021.) But, is she the type to not announce anything? I'm not so sure about that.
Could Jim Bob's Count Include Annabell?
Probably Not. Jim Bob + Michelle lost their 20th Child, Jubilee, at ~20 Weeks, but don't include her in counting their own 19 Children. Annabell was also an ~20 Week Loss. It doesn't make much sense that they'd count Annabell and not Jubilee, but we also can't rule it out. It's possible, but unlikely, that that's what's going on.
TL;DR—
Ultimately, the most likely answer is that there's another Duggar on the way, due shortly before Forsyth #3, and it’s Claire’s, Jinger’s, or Jessa’s. However, we can't rule out the possibility of Lauren or Kendra having twins, or of Anna, Jessa, Lauren, Jinger, or Claire having a "secret birth," or of J.B. including Annabell in the list of GrandDuggars. Also, maybe Jim Bob just can’t count… But, probably not. He seemed sure.

passionately, i'd say chapter five
I'm nothing like you.
kincoy. explicit. ao3.
“You are sleeping with her, aren’t you?”
Claire doesn’t have a response ready for that question, which she knows only confirms the fact for Diana. She hadn’t wanted to make this visit in the first place, if she were to be honest. Diana irks her. She knows some of how things went down from Jack. She was Diana’s first woman, her sexual awakening. She had been unstable.
That’s none of your business.
I’m nothing like you.
I am.
Claire wonders, sometimes, if maybe she is.
That night, she gets to Jack’s apartment late, after eleven. Claire had been the one to stay behind tonight. Jack had waited up for her, a characteristic sweet display. Claire kisses her as soon as she has her jacket off and her bag hanging on the hook.
“Jack, she freaks me out,” she says.
“Yeah?” Says Jack, “how so?”
“She’s so… She acted like she knew everything about me.”
“You’re nothing like her, Claire,” says Jack. Some little part of Claire isn’t entirely convinced. She shakes the feeling off. She kisses Jack’s lips, then her neck, adoring the soft scent of her, that comfort, the way it turns her on. Jack’s hands reach under her shirt, gently stroking. God, Claire will never get tired of this. She’ll never get tired of Jack’s strong arms lifting her off the couch, she’ll never get tired of Jack kissing down her body, or Jack’s deep breaths and dark eyes as she eats her out. She hates to imagine how she’d act if something happened.
They fall asleep so soundly that every worry Claire has disappears. Almost.
---
Jack is suspended. She’s only to be in the office when they’re working on her case. Claire knows she’s just going insane at home thinking about all the other cases she’s had to abandon. It makes her feel awful for her. She misses her, too. But after a long day of typical work, they’re together in the office late into the evening. It reminds her of when they first got together, the long, suggestive, longing work nights.
She wishes they could go home.
“He wants to depose me. I was in law school when this case happened.” When she was in law school (undergrad, even), Jack was already fucking her assistants. Not only fucking, she reminds herself. She wonders if Jack is thinking about that too. Sometimes it slaps her in the face. Jack claims it’s so she can ask about pattern.
“‘Have you ever seen the defendant McCoy withhold exculpatory material?’” Jack-as-Dillard’s-lawyer asks, and Claire’s stomach drops.
“Jack,” Claire says, and sees Jack wince. Ok, but. She has seen Jack withhold exculpatory material.
“That went to motive. It's not an element of the crime.”
“The judge disagreed.”
“‘So, Ms. Kincaid, have you ever seen the defendant McCoy withhold exculpatory material?’”
“Yes.” Claire dreads the words. She sees Jack deflate. “I have to say that,” she finishes.
---
They go to dinner and it’s wonderful. A spot of normalcy in a crazy moment. Jack plays with her hair, which she only does when she’s stressed. Claire places a calming hand on hers and smiles. She sees Jack relax. Jack orders a salad and Claire gets roasted chicken. They don’t mention work once.
When they get home, quiet in bed, Jack says, “Does all of this… Does this change how you see me?” Claire regrets immediately her hesitation.
“You’re just, very zealous, Jack. I’ve always known that about you.”
“But someone went to prison for years because I missed something. You don’t think I buried it, right, Claire?” This time she doesn’t hesitate.
“No,” she says. “I don’t.”
“Good,” says Jack, “good.” She relaxes, then, and drifts into sleep quickly.
---
It’s Diana’s fault. It’s all her fault. Anger burns in Claire’s chest. How dare she. How dare she. Claire would never do a thing like that. She can’t imagine how, how pathetic someone had to be. She still thinks Jack is reaching with criminal facilitation. It’s still good trial experience.
She feels every lawyer in the courtroom’s eyes on her when Jack confirms that she and Diana were lovers. She knows they all are speculating, or more likely confirming. Claire feels exposed and raw, but she has trouble not laughing when he brings up the note. “Nail Andrew Dillard.” How ridiculous to use that as evidence.
“To convict Andrew Dillard, didn't Diana Hawthorne, your subordinate, your lover, merely do what you told her?” Says Fox. Claire winces. Does she do everything Jack tells her to? She doesn’t think so. She almost pities Diana. For a mirthful second, she wonders when Jack is going to take her to Ireland.
“Your boss and your lover, that’s a pretty strong influence,” Claire says to Diana on the stand. She feels Diana looking through her. Claire wonders if she’s so easily swayed. If she will be, one day.
“Yes. So, I did what she wanted me to do.” Says Diana. Claire catches that and it’s like magic what she moves onto next, it’s exhilarating.
“Why would she want you to do something that could jeopardize his career?” She asks.
“Jeopardize? It got her her promotion.” There it is. There it is! She got her. Defeat over this woman who has left a cloud over the last couple weeks, this woman who put Jack’s entire career in danger, who put an innocent man in prison over what, a trip?
“You decided to get her what she wanted. And like all good gifts, it was a surprise, Claire says, and feels satisfied and vindicated. She sees Jack smiling when she gets back to the table. They share a silent high-five under the table.
---
“You kicked ass in there, Claire,” Jack says when they get back to the office. “Good job.” She’s saying it as her boss, and as her lover. This line they have to walk is so exhaustingly fine sometimes, but she’s okay with it blurring this once. They share a polite-for-the-office hug and a glass of whisky. When Claire is leaving, Jack staying behind to finish up a few things, Claire sees Diana on the way inside. She almost wants to stop her, berate her, tell her how little they’re alike, but in the end it doesn’t seem worth it.
Jack comes home looking wrung-out. “I’m a horrible person,” she says, dropping things on the floor. Claire is in the kitchen doing dishes.
“You’re not,” says Claire, “why would you say that?” Jack has come to join her and Claire wraps her into a hug.
“She did it for me.” Jack has started to tear up. Claire very rarely sees her cry. “It got me my promotion.”
“That’s on her, not you. And you got that promotion yourself.”
“If I had known, that I wielded so much power,” she says between sniffles, “I never would’ve… I mean, I loved her, knowing that she did it out of, out of love, it’s…” She trails off, but Claire catches the core of the statement.
“It’s okay, Jack. It’s okay.” Claire says. She migrates them to the couch and lets Jack cry these elegant, reserved tears for as long as she needs to. “None of this is your fault.”
“I drove her to it.”
Claire brings some levity to it. “You’re not that powerful,” she says. Jack laughs.
---
“But I thought that’s what you wanted,” Claire says with her best impression of earnestness on her face. She sees Jack panic for a second before she breaks character and the two of them laugh. It’s a nice, if chilly day. Maybe they’ll go to the park.

Nominations: 'Best British Single', BRIT Awards 2013 / ‘Most Performed Work’, Ivor Novello Awards 2014
As the autumn of 2012 dawned, six months had elapsed since Olly had last released a single in the UK – the longest such gap since his debut. Recording his third album was part of this, but the other reason was one we touched upon briefly before and will be exploring more in both this entry and in the ones to come. After a successful band or solo artist has achieved a substantial amount of success on home turf and in immediate surrounding territories as he had, it’s not usually unreasonable to try having a crack at what so many have attempted to become a success in, yet so few have achieved the elusive dream of - breaking the American market.
It’s not unfair to say that Olly had a struggle and then some to begin with. At his performance at the BRITs in February, some bigwig execs from Columbia, a subsidiary of Sony Music who Olly was signed to under Epic, were sat in the audience. They were impressed with what they saw, so much that his first Stateside deal was offered – but with a few caveats to address. Even though the US version of The X Factor had been on air for a year on Fox Network, his success as a result of the original UK series meant diddle squat there.
Fortunately, the timing was good. The early 2010s were something of a purple patch where British artists in America were concerned. Adele and Florence & The Machine had been resounding successes, Tinie Tempah was giving the US hip hop giants a run for their money. The Saturdays filmed a reality show for the E! network and had some success on dance charts. Hell, even the hopeless likes of The Wanted had a Billboard top 10 hit with their UK chart topper ‘Glad You Came’. But all of them were eclipsed by the gargantuan success of a boyband who shared something in common with Olly – chiefly, where they first came to attention.
Bronze finalists on the 2010 UK series of The X Factor, One Direction had already topped the charts with their debut ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ upon its September 2011 release in the UK, setting all manner of sales records in the process. Its success was quickly replicated across the pond, as a generation of Twitter trending uber fans who’d discovered them on the aforementioned social networking site and YouTube all started shrieking for mankind about a new British invasion. Columbia had signed One Direction in the US, and after seeing Olly perform at the BRITs, decided to put two and two together and have him support them on their first American tour that summer.
youtube
This initial attempt to make him known to a US audience was one met with nervous doubt by his audience back home, worried that Olly was on the verge of being made untouchable and inaccessible like they had become and lose the very British charm that had made him so appealing in the first place in order to make him more commercially palatable Stateside. The worries weren’t confounded any less when a radically different mix of ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ was chosen as his debut release in North America, ditching Rizzle Kicks from the original version in favour of obscure, buck toothed rapper Chiddy Bang. It was poorly received by fans on both sides of the pond, and also by an incensed Rizzle Kicks, who rightly called out Sony in the press for the botched A&R decision. The fact that the remixed single bombed out at #96 in the Billboard charts, even after two separate promo videos (one at a soccer match, the other on Venice Beach) and lacklustre radio play tells its own story.
When Olly returned home to continue recording and writing his third album in July that year, he was back working with Claude and Steve again, this time on a funk laden slice of pop about a wrong doing woman who proved irresistible. There was never any doubt that the driving disco funk pop of ‘Troublemaker’ had the potential to be a hit that would take him worldwide, but it needed an extra sparkle of magic to make it really take off. That sparkle came in the form of bechesticled US rapper Tramar Dillard, better known as Flo Rida. After all, he’d made more than his fair share of trips to the top of both the US and UK charts in recent years by the time he was approached, and had also guested on UK hit singles for The Saturdays and Alexandra Burke. Not for the first time in Olly’s career, however, the guest feature didn’t extend to the video for the song directed by Michael Baldwin, with Flo Rida’s part shot separately to his in Miami, bouncing car and all, whilst Olly hoofed it up pursuing and eventually hooking up with a hot girl around downtown Los Angeles who finds herself repeatedly fired from a series of jobs. At least it wasn’t the obvious choice of treatment for a song called ‘Troublemaker’. But again, showcasing an iconic look – the same long-sleeved granddad tee and braces he was rocking on the cover for the single’s parent album – cemented its imagery and his audience grew again.
Thankfully, those expecting more Chiddy Bang style buffoonery upon the single’s first radio play at the beginning of October – just as Olly began a national book signings tour in support of his illustrated autobiography ‘Happy Days’ – were breathing a sigh of relief when they heard the final version. Far from selling out, it was a stormer of a pop song up there with his best moments. A comfortable six weeks of solid airplay on TV and radio ahead of its mid-November release saw to it that, even with a chart battle against a returning Girls Aloud, who were marking their 10th anniversary with a new greatest hits album and that year’s BBC Children In Need single ‘Something New’, that Olly would achieve not only his biggest first week sales for a single – 125k are agreed to be the final number – on its way to sales of over three quarters of a million in the UK alone, but that he would also enjoy his first UK chart topper to spend more than a week at the top – his second week’s competition coming from Bruno Mars, whose ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’ had to settle for a #2 debut.
But crucially, ‘Troublemaker’ also did what the disastrous remix of ‘Heart Skips…’ had failed to do. It finally established him as the next UK success story in America, eventually reaching as high as the top 30 of the Billboard charts the following March, and shifting over one million copies in the process, as well as becoming a top 5 or top 10 hit in fourteen other countries. More nods at the following years BRITs and Ivor Novellos ceremonies confirmed just what a success the single had been for Olly. It had given him the freedom to becoming the international superstar he had dreamed of becoming on that audition stage all those years ago, whilst much like Take That before him, ensuring that he’d never forget where he was coming from.
OTHER THOUGHTS
The CD single came backed with a just about passable remix from dance DJs Cutmore, whilst the digital bundle boasted an additional reswizzle from UK garage gods Wideboys, famed for their 2001 top 20 hit ‘Sambuca’ with Dennis G. A rare version of ‘Troublemaker’ also exists in the ether with no feature from Flo Rida included – an additional verse from Olly appears in the place of his rap instead. This was done to cater for the audiences of national British stations like BBC Radio 2 and Heart, who were a little less inclined towards rap artists. The trick seemed to work, as it helped the single to top the UK radio airplay chart for several weeks at the end of 2012. Olly still performs this version live now in Flo Rida’s perpetual absence.

The foundation’s core mission is to honor pioneers and professionals who have broken new ground in the areas of broadcasting, recorded music, marketing, retail, publicity, publishing, digital, creative, and philanthropy.
“The Living Legends Board of Directors is proud to continue its tradition of recognizing the greatest in the music and record industries,” says David C. Linton, Chairman of the LLF. “We continue to raise the bar and celebrate the unsung heroes of our industry who have helped to lay the foundation for black music, black artists, and black executives of the 20th and 21st century. We remain steadfast in our efforts to raise much-needed funds to assist the less fortunate among us. We look forward to another exceptional event and year.”
In 1991, record industry pioneer Ray Harris had the vision for an organization that would not only salute the achievements of black music executives but would assist them in their time of need. During the same year, Harris worked with record executives Barbara Lewis and C.C. Evans and radio programming legend, the late Jerry Boulding, and founded the Living Legends Foundation.
Over the years, the organization has recognized and honored more than 100 distinguished leaders in music, radio, retail, and media. Past honorees include, in alphabetical order: Brenda Andrews, Larkin Arnold, Clarence Avant, Lee Bailey, Big Boy, Jamie Brown, Troy Carter, Ray Chew and Vivian Scott Chew, Keith Clinkscales, Kenny Gamble, Jack “The Rapper” Gibson, Tony Gray, Ethiopia Habtemariam, Jeffrey Harleston, Denise Brown Henderson, Esq., Stephen Hill, Leon Huff, Cathy Hughes, Don Jackson, Hal Jackson, Larry Jackson, Cynthia Johnson, Varnell Johnson, Quincy Jones, Larry Khan, Morace Landy, Vicki Mack Lataillade and Claude Lataillade, Miller London, Michael Mauldin, Rushion McDonald, Kendall Minter, Esq., Jon Platt, Gwendolyn Quinn, Pat Shields, Eddie Sims and Belinda Wilson, Antonio “L.A.” Reid, Ruben Rodriguez, Aundrae Russell, Herb Trawick, Charles Warfield, Dr. Logan H. Westbrooks, Tyrone Williams, and numerous others.
The LLF is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization and has been funded primarily with corporate contributions and individual donations. The 28-year-old organization has expanded its mission to assist those who have served the music industry and who have a confirmable need. This assistance is provided in a manner that maintains the dignity of those who may receive financial help. Many former music industry employees worked during a time when 401Ks and retirement packages were not available—and even today, in this era of downsizing and mergers, the industry’s lack of long-term career stability has become more commonplace. Proceeds from the event will enable the LLF to continue to aid those in need, as well as fund the Living Legends Foundation Scholarship Program, which helps the educational pursuits of the next generation of music makers and marketers at three HBCUs.
The LLF Officers and Board Members include Chairman David Linton, Chairman Emeritus and founder Ray Harris, President Varnell Johnson, Vice-President Jacqueline Rhinehart, Recording Secretary Pat Shields, founder and Treasurer C.C. Evans, and General Counsel Kendall Minter, Esq. Board Members include Vinny Brown, Sheila Eldridge, Marcus Grant, Tony Gray, Ken Johnson, Barbara Lewis, Miller London, Sidney Miller, Kathi Moore, Jon Platt, Gwendolyn Quinn, Sam Weaver, and Colleen Wilson.
The Living Legends Foundation Advisory Board includes a list of distinguished entertainment executives, including Monica Alexander, Don Cody, George Daniels, Brad Davidson, Michael Dawson, Esq., Skip Dillard, Kevin Fleming, Shannon Henderson, Jay Johnson, James Leach, Vicki Mack Lataillade, Gail Mitchell, Azim Rashid, Lionel Ridenour, Kevin Ross, A.J. Savage, Vivian Scott Chew, Phil Thornton, Brian Wallace, Irene Ware, Tyrone Williams, Buzzy Willis, and Tony Winger.

Star Wars Movie and TV Release Date Calendar
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
The future of Star Wars is secure. The end of the Skywalker Saga didn’t mean the end of the story of the galaxy far, far away. It just meant countless new possibilities, both on the big and small screens. In fact, Disney has already announced more than a dozen live-action and animated projects that explore other corners of the Star Wars universe, from adventures starring the brave X-wing pilots and clone troopers on the front lines of countless wars to tales of bounty hunters and even the Sith. And plenty more in between!
This post is where we’ll keep track of all the upcoming Star Wars movie and TV releases as they’re announced and release dates are set. Hit the links in each entry to read articles that tell you more about what you need to know about all these new Star Wars adventures!
Stream your Star Wars favorites right here!
First up are the movies but scroll down for TV release dates…
Upcoming Star Wars Movies
Rogue Squadron
December 22, 2023
Director: Patty Jenkins
Disney confirmed during an Investors Day presentation in Dec. 2020 that the first Star Wars movie to follow The Rise of Skywalker is Rogue Squadron, a movie that “will introduce a new generation of starfighter pilots as they earn their wings and risk their lives in a boundary-pushing, high-speed thrill-ride, and move the saga into the future era of the galaxy.”
Wonder Woman‘s Patty Jenkins will direct, making her the first woman to helm a Star Wars movie. We’re very excited about this!
Read more about Rogue Squadron here.
Untitled Taika Waititi Star Wars Movie
TBA
Director: Taika Waititi
Writer: Taika Waititi and Krysty Wilson-Cairns
After his stint directing (and voice acting) on The Mandalorian, Taika Waititi will return for a big screen offering!
“Taika’s approach to Star Wars will be fresh, unexpected, and…unique,” said Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy in a statement in 2020. “His enormous talent and sense of humor will ensure that audiences are in for an unforgettable ride.”
There’s very little in the way of actual details right now, not even a release date yet, but we’ll be keeping a careful eye on this as it develops.
Untitled Kevin Feige Star Wars Movie
TBA
Writer: Michael Waldron
Marvel Cinematic Universe steward Kevin Feige has been the last decade building a multi-billion-dollar superhero blockbuster powerhouse for Disney, so it’s no surprise the House of Mouse is giving the producer a crack at its other big sci-fi franchise. Feige is developing a new Star Wars movie with Kathleen Kennedy, and Loki creator and head writer is penning the script. And that’s all we know about this sure-to-be-massive Star Wars picture.
Untitled J.D. Dillard Star Wars Movie
TBA
Director: J.D. Dillard
Writer: Matt Owens
Reports of a new Star Wars movie from Sleight director J.D. Dillard and Luke Cage writer Matt Owens first hit the internet in Feb. 2020. We don’t know much about this movie or when it’ll premiere. Could this be an exclusive Disney+ movie?
Read more about this movie here.
Rian Johnson’s Star Wars Trilogy
TBA
As far as we know, The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson is still working on his own Star Wars trilogy. All we know about these movies is that they will take place in previously unexplored areas of the Star Wars universe, and will kick off a brand new saga of films completely unrelated to the Skywalker story. We wrote in more detail about what that might mean for the franchise right here.
On the other hand, maybe Johnson’s recent comments about what a mistake it is to pander to fans are an indication that his relationship with Disney has soured. He also happens to be working on multiple sequels for a little franchise called Knives Out. Those are probably taking up a bit of his time, no? Read more about this new Star Wars trilogy here.
Upcoming Star Wars TV Shows
After the success of The Mandalorian, it should come as no surprise that there are way more Star Wars TV series coming to Disney+ in the next few years. Here’s what you have to look forward to…
Visions
Sept. 22, 2021
Animation Studios: Kamikaze Douga, Geno Studio, Studio Colorido, Trigger, Kinema Citrus, Science Saru, and Production IG
This new anime anthology series is one of the most unique Star Wars projects yet. Lucasfilm has brought in several big Japanese animation companies to produce their own takes on the galaxy far, far away. The nine short film collected in Visions cover many different corners of the universe, from tales about the Jedi and Sith to the adventures of a cute little droid, each with its own distinct art style. Boba Fett is in there, too! More like this, please.
Lego Star Wars Terrifying Tales
Oct. 1, 2021
Director: Ken Cunningham
Writer: David Shayne
Starring: Jake Green as Poe Dameron; Raphael Alejandro as Dean; Dana Snyder as Graballa the Hutt; Tony Hale as Vaneé; Christian Slater as Ren; Trevor Devall as Emperor Palpatine; and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as NI-L8
Loved last year’s Lego Star Wars Holiday Special and want more of that, please? No? Too bad. We’re getting more Lego Star Wars shenanigans this year, but this time Poe and BB-8 must confront the spooky season. The premise actually doesn’t sound all that bad: after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, Poe and his trusty droid must make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet of Mustafar, where they’ll venture deep into Darth Vader’s old castle and encounter and ancient evil that must be stopped. Could be good!
The Book of Boba Fett
Christmas 2021
Executive Producers: Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni & Robert Rodriguez
Starring: Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen
Boba Fett is back and getting his own spin-off series set within the timeline of The Mandalorian. The show will also star Boba’s new partner, the deadly assassin Fennec Shand!
The Book of Boba Fett has wrapped filming and is slated to premiere in Christmas 2021. Robert Rodriguez, who directed Boba Fett’s return in The Mandalorian season 2, will exec produce alongside Favreau and Filoni.
The Mandalorian Season 3
2022
Executive Producers: Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni
Starring: Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers, Gina Carano, Katee Sackhoff
The Mandalorian season 3 went into pre-production in 2020 and is set to film in Fall 2021, now that work on The Book of Boba Fett is complete. That means we won’t see this one until the second half of 2022 at the earliest.
The Bad Batch Season 2
2022
Director: Brad Rau
Writers: Jennifer Corbett & Matt Michnovetz
The Bad Batch is set directly after the events of Order 66. The rise of the Empire has led to the destruction of the Jedi, and as we learned in the first action-packed season, the imminent end of the clone army. Grand Moff Tarkin wants to replace the clones with a new, more obedient human army and Clone Force 99 isn’t too happy about it. Now on the run from the new galactic order, Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, and new member Omega must find their new place in a galaxy that no longer seems to want them.
The first season ended on a massive cliffhanger that could have huge implications for storylines coming up in the live-action universe. We can’t wait to see what season 2 has in store.
Read more about The Bad Batch here.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
2022
Director: Deborah Chow
Writer: Hossein Amini, Joby Harold
Starring: Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie
Ewan McGregor is finally returning to the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in a series set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The Jedi Master has settled into his life as an exile on Tatooine, where he’s watching over Luke Skywalker from afar. Will his next adventure take him off-world or is he going to have to protect a defenseless village from raiders Toshiro Mifune style?
Here’s what we know about the plot: “The series begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where he faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.”
Hayden Christensen is returning to play Vader, which is very exciting!
Andor
2022
Writer: Tony Gilroy
Starring: Diego Luna, Alan Tudyk, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgard, Denise Gough, Kyle Stoller
There’s a Rogue One spinoff series starring Rebel secret agent Cassian Andor coming to Disney+! According to the press release, “The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.” This sounds very good.
This series was set to film in early 2020, but Covid-19 pandemic delayed the show. It finally wrapped filming in August 2021.
The Acolyte
TBA
Executive Producer & Writer: Leslye Headland
Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland is developing a new series called The Acolyte, which is set during the High Republic era, a time period that predates even The Phantom Menace. The series is said to be “female-centric” and seems to be a darker Star Wars story than what we’re used to seeing on screen.
Lucasfilm describes the show as “a mystery-thriller that will take the audience into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.” Sounds intriguing!
We have some theories as to what the show could be about here.
Ahsoka
TBA
Executive Producers: Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni
Writer: Dave Filoni
Starring: Rosario Dawson
Described as a limited series that continues the story of Ahsoka Tano after the events of The Mandalorian season 2 episode “The Jedi,” Ahsoka will likely bring the beloved hero one step closer to finding her missing Jedi friend Ezra Bridger and taking down Grand Admiral Thrawn once and for all.
Rangers of the New Republic
TBA
Executive Producers: Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni
We don’t know anything about this show except that it’s set within The Mandalorian timeline and will “intersect with future stories and culminate into a climactic story event.” It sounds like Star Wars may be on its way to having its first big TV crossover.
That said, recent reports suggest this show’s been put on hold due to the dismissal of Gina Carano, who was said to star on the show as Republic marshal Cara Dune. At the very least, it’ll likely be a while before we finally see this one.
Lando
TBA
Writer: Justin Simien
The smoothest scoundrel in the galaxy is finally getting his own event series on Disney+. It’s currently unclear whether this series will follow the younger Lando played by Donald Glover or the original one played by Billy Dee Williams. Maybe it’ll star both?!
A Droid Story
TBA
This animated TV movie will follow C-3PO and R2-D2 as well as introduce a new hero to the Star Wars galaxy. That’s all we know at the moment!
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });

The 2019 ‘My Guys’ List
Everyone’s got their list. Everyone has their favorite sleepers and breakouts for the upcoming fantasy football season. Recently, I began listening to The Fantasy Footballers podcast and they released their ‘My Guys’ episode. Essentially, the trio gave to the public three different players they believe in and believe will take a leap as players and help you win your fantasy football leagues. That inspired me to create a list of my ‘my guys.’ Except my list does not only consist of three players; it is 24 deep. Draft season is here. Let me help you win your league (except if you play in the same league as me. Which, if that’s the case, there really isn’t anything to see here!).
QBs:
Carson Wentz PHI: Wentz was well on his way to an MVP caliber season and Top 5 fantasy QB finish before he tore his ACL against the Rams. He came back this previous season but took some time (as is customary for players the first season coming off a torn ACL) to get his feet and rhythm back as well as have his offensive line protect him the way they did his 2017 season. The offensive line is back healthy and stocked with the addition of first-round pick Andre Dillard out of Washington State, Carson Wentz is practicing and not rehabbing, and his group of weapons is absolutely loaded. DeSean Jackson (who routinely expands the fantasy ceilings of all of his non-Jameis Winston QBs), Jordan Howard, rookie 2nd round picks Miles Sanders and JJ Arcega-Whiteside join Zach Ertz, Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, Dallas Goedert, Darren Sproles and (finally healthy) Mack Hollins. That’s... a lot. He’s my QB5 and he’s going as the QB9. I’m not the only guy who’s high on him this season. ESPN’s Louis Riddick, who is WAYYYYYY smarter than I am, has Wentz winning the MVP this season. He’s pretty darn good at predicting this type of stuff...
Cam Newton CAR: Despite dealing with a shoulder injury for much of the season (which is illuminated fully in Amazon’s ‘All or Nothing’ show), Cam Newton averaged 20.2 fantasy points per game, 8th among QBs. This Norv Turner offense and personnel around him (Christian McCaffrey, DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel, Greg Olsen, Ian Thomas) is geared around Newton getting the ball out of his hands quickly and closer to the line of scrimmage, which he will only be more familiar with now in his second year under the system. It worked: he set a career-high 67.9% completion percentage last season. His previous best was 61.7%. He got his throwing shoulder operated on this offseason (and looks more than fine now, by the way). If you’re worried about his rushing going away, he got that same shoulder operated on before the 2017 season. He ran for a career-best 754 yards on 139 carries for 6TDs. His rushing shouldn’t be drastically diminished; ESPN’s Mike Clay has him projected for 105 carries. If the rushing isn’t going away, he should smash his ADP on ESPN as QB8. He’s my QB6.
Jared Goff LAR: On a per-game basis in games where Cooper Kupp played, Goff would’ve finished as QB3. If you just exclude last year’s stinker against the Bears, Goff would’ve finished as tied for QB4 with Deshaun Watson and, oddly enough, Ryan Fitzpatrick. Kupp is back. Sean McVay is still calling plays for the Rams despite the constant turnover around the Rams’ coaching staff trying to find the next McVay. Heck, Goff could even possibly throw for more touchdowns if they want to limit Todd Gurley’s production around the goal line. Goff’s ADP on ESPN is QB15 and QB12 on Sleeper. He is my QB7.
Lamar Jackson BAL and Josh Allen BUF: The rationale here for these two are very similar: they are run-centric quarterbacks whose teams upgraded their receiver core for them. Baltimore overhauled theirs through the draft, adding Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown and Miles Boykin, while Buffalo added veterans John Brown and Cole Beasley. While neither are great throwers just yet, their rushing elevates their floors and ceilings on a weekly basis. Since Lamar Jackson snatched the starting gig from Joe Flacco’s corpse, he averaged 18.6 fantasy points per game, placing him 13th among QBs. He never dipped below 15.9 points, though only exceeded the 20 point plateau just twice. In the 10 games Josh Allen started and finished as a rookie, he averaged 19.71 fantasy points per game, which would’ve been 9th among all QBs. After his Week 12 bye? He was QB1. Though it’d be fair to suggest neither two will run as much as they did as rookies, it’d be foolish to suggest that aspect of their games will be ditched altogether and that they should see a boost as passers. If you ditch the position (as you should), you could do a lot worse than either of these two as your starter and search the waiver wire if they don’t pan out.
RBs:
Dalvin Cook MIN: Dalvin Cook has all the tools to be a Top 5 running back. So far, his biggest impediments towards getting to that platform have been factors outside of his control: injuries and porous offensive line play. Before he tore his ACL Week 4 of the 2017 season, Cook was on pace for a 296 carry, 1,416 rushing yards and 8 touchdown season, to go along with 44 receptions on 64 targets and 360 receiving yards. That was Cook’s pace despite his offensive line being ranked 22nd by Pro Football Focus. Last season was not much better for the Vikings offensive line, as they fell back to 29 by Pro Football Focus.
On top of that, Cook never seemed to gain his footing coming off the ACL tear, bouncing in and out of the lineup with a nagging hamstring strain for much of the season. However, starting from Week 9 once he returned from his hamstring injury, he went on to average 13.62 half PPR points, which, if extrapolated over 16 games, would’ve gotten him an 11th place finish amongst running backs. This was done despite going for a game where he finished with 0.5 points, a poor offensive line, and limited usage, at least until Week 14.
After Week 14, the Vikings fired Offensive Coordinator John DeFilippo, whom they hired in the 2018 offseason from the Philadelphia Eagles after previously serving as their Quarterbacks coach. In this article from NumberFire, it is illuminated the disparity from the pass-happy offense DeFilipoo tried to install vs new offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski’s run-oriented offense. Essentially, in order to play to the strength of their stout defense, the Vikings ran more, passed less and called fewer plays, in general, churning the clock. That is the game plan Head Coach has yearned and desired for time and time again. How can you do that with personnel? Improve your offensive line, which they did in the draft (the Vikings drafted NC State C Garrett Bradbury and Oklahoma OG Dru Samia) and free agency (the Vikings signed OG Josh Kline). How can you do that philosophically? Hire an OC who will run the ball and bring in Gary Kubiak as an advisor.
Everything is set up for a Dalvin Cook breakout season, as long as he stays healthy. That’s quite the if, but the same can be said for almost any running back being drafted early. However, that risk is already being put into his ADP, which is 23.9 on ESPN and 16.2 on Sleeper. I have him 12th overall. He is the ultimate second-round pick for those drafting wide receivers round one. Don’t let him fall.
Aaron Jones GB: The upside is pretty simple to see with Aaron Jones. Before he got injured in Week 15 in a lost 2018 Packer season, he was averaging 14.3 half PPR points per game, which would’ve been 11th among all running backs. Among those qualified, he led the entire NFL in yards per carry (5.5). Though he did not rack up enough carries to qualify in 2017 battling the depth chart and injuries, he averaged 5.5 yards per carry that season too, which was only bested by some guy named Alvin Kamara. Surely you’ve heard of him.
All of that was done despite the Packers ranking 32nd (333 carries) and 27th (386 carries) in Jones’ two seasons with Mike McCarthy at the helm. That surely will change this season, as new head coach Matt LaFleur has repeatedly stressed his desire to bring more balance to the offense. His tendencies with Tennessee last season, though with a notably different pass game personnel, tend to back that up. LaFleur also wants to get the running backs involved in the passing game as well, a staple in his previous stops around the league. This is an opportunity that has eluded Jones before (in 24 games he has only been targeted 53 times and has 35 receptions and just one touchdown), but he has worked to improve on his receiving prowess and is proving in camp. As for his competition (another thorn in Jones’ side), Jones seems to have solidified his spot as the top dog. Writer for Packers.com Mike Spofford seems to think so at least, noting: ‘confirming his status as the top back on the team right now, the coaches have consistently given Jones first reps in 11-on-11 work throughout OTAs and the opening days of camp’ (link to the full article above). To add to that, backup and fellow 2017 running back draftee Jamaal Williams tweaked his hamstring during camp, giving Jones even more of a leg up for workhorse duties.
Everything is lining up for Aaron Jones. As long as he can stay healthy (and he shed body fat to help him do so), it is not out of reason at all to think he can be a top 10 running back. His ceiling is that of a second-round pick that I routinely scoop up in the third or fourth round. I would encourage you all to do the same.
Latavius Murray NOLA: Mark Ingram had 138 carries and 21 receptions in 12 games last season. The year prior: 230 carries and 58 receptions. Sure Alvin Kamara will reign supreme in New Orleans, but it sounds like he won’t get *all* the work Ingram has left behind. Latavius Murray will have a role. Will he get the 230 carries Ingram got in Kamara’s rookie year? Probably not. But could it be 184, which would’ve been Ingram’s 16 game pace from last season? That absolutely seems more plausible. He’s going to have a role in a very good offense and has immense upside in the event Alvin Kamara were to go down (which hopefully will never happen).
Rashaad Penny SEA and Royce Freeman DEN: The thinking is the same for both of these two running backs. Freeman and Phillip Lindsay will reportedly form a 50-50 split in the Denver backfield, while Rashaad Penny saw Mike Davis leave the Seattle with no established back to replace him. Mike Davis was a flex player in his own right (he finished as RB37 in Half PPR), and Seattle had at least two running backs, (Davis, Penny or workhorse) Chris Carson, finish with over double-digit fantasy points five times last year. Basically: both Freeman and Penny are going to get run this season, whether as a starter or not. Combine that with the fragility of Chris Carson and the diminutive stature of Phillip Lindsay, the upside for these two in the event of an injury is through the roof.
Damien Harris NE: New England will be a run-heavy team this season, as they were last season. Harris may not get a lot of work early, but he was drafted as insurance in case Sony Michel gets injured again. And in the event that occurs, Harris will step in as the primary rusher while James White stays in his receiving role. Even without the injury, it seems possible Harris will play given his versatility as both a runner and receiver out the backfield. Essentially, he is Darrell Henderson without the hype or the higher draft price. I think he could earn a role and don’t believe Sony Michel can/will stay healthy. If neither happens, you cut him as a late-round draft pick. If both happen, he’s a league winner.
Malcolm Brown LAR: Darrell Henderson is not the Rams’ backup running back. No, he is slated for more of a Chris Thompson-type of role in Sean McVay’s offense. While valuable in its own right, Henderson is a bit undersized for lead back duties and is just a rookie in the first year of McVay’s extravagant offense. A guy who has been there since McVay arrived in Los Angeles? Malcolm Brown. Brown is a great pass protector who has the trust of McVay to keep Jared Goff upright and execute the offense as constructed. Malcolm Brown may end up being the Jamaal Williams to Henderson’s Aaron Jones in the event of a Gurley injury, but coaches don’t care about who has the most talent to solely feed them. You have to earn playing time by doing the little things, and Brown is ahead of Henderson in that regard, especially if Henderson’s extended preseason run is any indication. I suspect Brown will get action in the Rams backfield, Gurley injury or not. Even if Gurley plays, Gurley’s touches will almost surely go down, especially if the Rams are trouncing opponents. Gurley had 66 carries while the Rams were leading by double digits. Think the Rams want to give him unnecessary touches? I don’t. Who could get some of that? Malcolm Brown. The best part about Malcolm Brown? He is dirt free. And he shouldn’t be. Remember when CJ Anderson dominated once the Rams scooped him up later in the year? That only happened *after* Brown injured his collarbone. If that were Brown himself doing what Anderson did in his/Gurley’s stead, which included three consecutive games with at least 123 rushing yards and a touchdown, how would we view him? At the very least, more receptively than how most are viewing him now. Brown is the ultimate double-digit round dart throw. He may even be on your waiver wire. Add him now. He has legit league-winning upside and literally costs you nothing to nab. He went undrafted in both of my leagues. I added him in both.
Dare Ogunbowale TB: Who? We are getting DEEP for my My Guys. Ogunbowale is a former Wisconsin running back who has bounced around the league before settling in Tampa Bay last season. However, he is more than just fighting for a roster spot; he’s gunning for legit playing time. He is the frontrunner to be the third-down back for the Bucs, a team with a porous offensive line that was 4th in the NFL in pass attempts last season BEFORE adding Bruce Arians as a head coach, who is notorious for getting running backs involved in the passing game. He is earning that role because he has soft hands (he had 60 receptions in two seasons at Wisconsin; neither Peyton Barber nor Ronald Jones has more than that in their college and professional careers COMBINED) and is trusted in pass protection (here is with a key block to buy time for a touchdown). He’s not ‘just a guy’ with the ball in his hands either; he is 5th in the preseason in forced missed tackles. The man is dirt cheap. He’s got skills, fits the team he currently plays for and has played himself into a role. I’m not saying he’s going to be this year’s Phillip Lindsay, but signs are there for Arike Ogunbowale’s brother to be a factor for both the Buccaneers and your fantasy team.
WRs:
Davante Adams GB: This is a matter of semantics. No one should dispute whether Adams will be great in fantasy barring injury, but just a matter of how high he should be drafted. He has scored double-digit touchdowns in each of the last three seasons, which is not unusual for the number one receivers under Aaron Rodgers to break regression numbers. He finally racked up 1000+ receiving yards, mowing through a murderer’s row of corners in the process. I love DeAndre Hopkins and Julio Jones, but I trust Adams more as the wide receiver. Who knows, maybe he could end up doing *even more* this season.
Julian Edelman NE: With the trained polar bear turned tight end Rob Gronkowski gone to retirement, someone has to catch passes in New England. This is where slot stud and Tom Brady bro Julian Edelman comes in. He becomes even more of a target fiend in games where Gronk hasn’t played, as NFL.com’s Graham Barfield illuminates here. His 16 game piece using his averages without Gronk: 182 targets, 116.8 receptions, 1,360 yards 5.12TDs. Remember how I talked about Davante Adams a minute ago? Here are his stats last season: 169 targets, 111 receptions, 1,386 yards 13TDs. Pretty, pretty, pretty good if you ask me. Now, Edelman did break his thumb before training camp and will be out for about 3 weeks in the preseason, but that could end up being a blessing in disguise for fantasy players so Edelman doesn’t suffer a more serious injury (obviously a concern with Edelman) and his buzz will be muted a bit. His ADP on ESPN is 34.3. On Sleeper? 45.1. He is my 21st player overall. Anywhere from the 3rd round and beyond is stealing if you can snag Edelman there, even with the news of Josh Gordon being reinstated. Heck, that might help you snag him a little later.
Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks, and Cooper Kupp LAR: If I had any apprehension of these three, it would be Kupp coming off a torn ACL, but he’s been fully cleared for camp activities. Basically, if you’re worried that these three will all eat into each other’s production enough to not warrant them as starters, don’t be. Kupp averaged 14.4 half PPR points per game last season, and one of those games he only scored 1.2 points before getting hurt. In the 8 games where Kupp played, Woods averaged 14.9 points per game and Cooks averaged 16.3, though he left a game vs the Seahawks early before hauling in a catch. I personally rank them Woods/Cooks/Kupp because I feel Woods is the most consistent and would not take Kupp as early as I would the other two because of him returning from an ACL injury (though he reportedly is cleared for all activities and isn’t even wearing a knee brace), but the point is, all are great fantasy options that could be had in rounds 4-5. I wouldn’t even sweat taking two of the three. All they do is produce.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling GB: ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reported in June that MVS was the leader for the number 2 receiver spot beside Davante Adams on the outside. That all but was confirmed when fellow cheesehead receiver Geronimo Allison told him that he’d be the team’s slot receiver. Why is this important? Because the new head coach is not like fellow head bro Sean McVay. McVay ran 11 personnel (meaning 3 receivers, 1 running back and 1 tight end) a lot, while Kyle Shanahan… didn’t.  In LaFleur’s lone season at Tennessee as the offensive coordinator, he was 28th in the league in using 3+ wide receivers on the field at the same time. Now, will Geronimo still get his? Absolutely. But if MVS will be on the field more, I’d rather take my shot on a second Packer receiver on him. It also doesn’t hurt when Aaron Rodgers’ trust level in MVS seemingly beginning to grow.
Albert Wilson MIA: Albert Wilson is slated to be the Dolphins’ slot receiver. He is good at it. Ryan Fitzpatrick is slated to be the Dolphins’ starting QB. He likes throwing to the slot. Starting to sense a theme? Now, Wilson suffered a season-ending hip injury last season but was on pace for a breakout season. In games Wilson started and finished, he was averaging 13.11 fantasy points per game in half PPR formats. Take out his ginormous game against the Bears and that number falls to 9.74 points per game, which would’ve been the WR34 on a per-game basis last year. Oh, and that was with Adam Gase and his slowpoke offense that was around the bottom of the league and offensive plays ran. New offensive coordinator Chad O’Shea should run a more up-tempo scheme that could feature the slot even more if his time in New England is any indication. Wilson hasn’t done much practicing yet and reports suggest he is close to returning to team drills with the goal of playing Week 1 becoming more and more possible with each passing day. Maybe more people will pay attention to Wilson if he gets back to practice. Take advantage of people sleeping on him while you can.
TEs:
Evan Engram NYG: Evan Engram has, conveniently enough, played 16 games without Odell Beckham Jr. His numbers in those 16 games? 117 targets, 71 receptions 886 yards 6TDs. That would’ve been good for TE5 last season. Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t on the Giants any more thanks to the grand work of Dave Gettleman. Sterling Shepard broke his hand in training camp. Golden Tate is suspended for the first four games. I don’t normally take tight ends in the single-digit rounds because it is harder for them to return the value than a running back or wide receiver. Engram looks to be the lone exception in rounds 5-7.
Greg Olsen CAR: He’s going super late. He’s basically free. IF, and that’s been a big if recently, he can stay healthy, what all has changed regarding his role and status among Carolina’s pass-catchers? Not a lot.
Mark Andrews BAL: If you want this season’s George Kittle, I nominate Mark Andrews for that distinction. From Andrews’ player profile on ESPN: ‘Andrews' 552 receiving yards rank sixth, and his 16.2 YPR, 10.0 YPT, and 10.4 aDOT all rank second among rookie tight ends since 2007. Andrews did all that damage despite playing only 35 percent of the snaps.’ He and fellow Lamar Jackson have grown their chemistry in camp, where Andrews has ‘been the Ravens’ most dangerous and productive offensive player,’ according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. If you’re going to punt the tight end position, why not take a flier on a guy oozing with upside like Andrews, on a team with 278 targets to replace from last season?
Darren Waller OAK: Speaking of targets to replace, Oakland will have plenty to replace. Although most of them surely will go to Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams (and Josh Jacobs), some should go to Darren Waller as well, a former Ravens draft pick who seems to have finally found a home in Oakland. Jared Cook made the Pro Bowl last year in Oakland after a 101 target, 68 reception, 896 yard and 6TD season. I’m not saying Waller will do that, but he’ll be given every chance to at least try. Especially now after this ongoing Antonio Brown frostbite/helmet fiasco. If Brown were to miss any time whatsoever, Waller will only get a boost in the target share in Oakland.

Note
do you have any good star trek novel recommendations? (tos please!!)
Yes! I do! I’ve been meaning to make a post about this for…so long, whoops, but I’ll answer this ask instead! (might still make the post someday, idk tbh. I probably should though because since I have so many Trek books I haven’t read yet, I might like more enough to rec them, haha.) Okay, anyway… (By TOS I assume you mean the original Enterprise crew, I hope it’s okay that not all of these actually take place during TOS, aka the five year mission.)
Sarek by A. C. Crispin You might have seen me mention this one the other day on my blog; I really love it. It takes place post TUC, Amanda is dying and Sarek is uncovering a plot that’s way bigger than anyone realizes at first… Also there’s some stuff about Jim’s nephew Peter (from the episode with the farting flying pancake aliens? lol.) and yeah, it’s a great read. All the parts with Sarek and Amanda are lovely and sad and the plot is interesting and it’s just all around enjoyable.Definitely recommend.
Collision Course by William Shatner This is the other one I mentioned on my blog already, and this one is probably my favorite Trek novel. Spock is nineteen and Jim is seventeen when they first meet, and they’re both too smart for their own good and get into trouble and…well, all the things you expect from Jim and Spock. It was originally supposed to be the first in a series, but for various reasons, there probably won’t be any more (CRIES) but this one is so good. And it doesn’t end on a cliffhanger so it’s okay. I especially enjoyed tbh how Bill appreciates what an effect Tarsus would have had on Jim (this is only three years later, after all) and it’s still very visible on lil’ Jim. Not a spoiler, bc a reference is made to Tarsus on…literally the very first page. Lol. Anyway, this one is really fun and sometimes sad (bc Tarsus) and just really great! Also, at least one of the plot twists genuinely surprised me, which is rare… I normally see them coming a mile off in Trek novels. ;) (Which doesn’t usually take away from my enjoyment, tbh!) But I really appreciate when they can surprise me.
Star Trek: The Motion Picture (novelization) by Gene Roddenberry You knew this was coming. This is an absolute must read if you’re a Spirk fan, tbh. I’m not all the way through with it so far, about halfway done, but I can tell you it’s a much better way of telling the story of TMP than TMP. Lol. The movie has this simple feeling and Jim rushing to Spock on the bridge and saying his name like a prayer and other things, but it also has all those dreadful special effect sequences. And the novel has its own gay to offer. I don’t necessarily agree with the way Gene wrote Jim (in fact, it’s been forever since I picked it up but I distinctly remember being bothered by it), but…yeah, at least borrow a copy from someone and witness the gay parts for yourself, haha.
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (novelization) by Vonda McIntyre I’m going to go ahead and say right now that if you’re going to read the novelizations, go for the ones by Ms. (Mrs? idk) McIntyre. She wrote 2, 3, and 4. I haven’t read 3 yet, but I have read 2 and 4 and I like that she actually adds in scenes and stuff that weren’t in the movies. It makes me feel like I’m actually getting something additional for my time even though I’m reading a novelization of a movie I’ve already seen. I like this one, because there was quite a bit that wasn’t in the movie (I have a hunch the extra scenes, at least some of them, might be based on the script? because the scene with Sulu’s great….something or other grandfather as a child meeting Sulu is in the book, and I know they tried to put that in the movie but never managed to. anyway.) But yeah, there’s actual stuff in there that’s not in the movie! that’s the way it should be. Also…she ships Saavik/David pretty clearly. :P Like I said, haven’t read TSS novel yet, but I know she was working it into 2, and it’s mentioned in 4 as a thing. Anyway…good stuff! This is the one where the whole “Vulcans get drunk on chocolate” thing comes from btw :))) (Avoid the novelizations by JM Dillard! Avoid!!! I’ve read them and they’re not good.) (Oh and pretty much everything I’ve read by Vonda McIntyre I’ve enjoyed, she’s a good Trek writer.)
Dwellers In The Crucible by Margaret Wander Bonnano Margaret Bonnano is another writer I just generally recommend bc I like all the stuff by her that I’ve read, too. Anyway… okay so let me say that this book’s main characters are not Jim and Spock. I know, I know. But wait!! It’s so worth a read!! Jim and Spock are in it, not much, but when they are they’re literally so married and explicitly confirmed to be t’hy’la… :)) it’s great. okay anyway. The main characters are a human named Cleante and a Vulcan named T’Shael. They are ladies. THEY ARE GAY AF. OKAY. THAT ALONE MAKES IT WORTH A READ. it’s so glorious.I mean the book only says they’re friends but…in the same way Jim and Spock are friends in canon. they’re super freaking gay. and also there are like a thousand incredibly obvious parallels between our human and vulcan lady and Jim and Spock. it’s fun. also Sulu goes undercover as a Romulan. :D yeah, just…read it. it’s great. (it made me angry at one point. I’m still angry. but I recommend it.)
Ishmael by Barbara Hambly This one was, for me at least, just a genuinely good read. I really enjoyed the plot. So…Spock goes back in time to 1867, not willingly I don’t think. And he gets amnesia. So right there are two tropes I ADORE (time travel and amnesia, I don’t care, I LOVE THEM.) He lands in North America, in Seattle if I remember correctly. And that’s the plot pretty much. Haha…okay, there’s a Klingon plot, the Enterprise crew searching for Spock, Spock trying to adapt and hide he’s an alien while bonding with the members of the community he lands in. Also Jim and Spock’s reunion is a bit gay. (Warning for spoilers if you click that? it’s pictures of when they find him near the end, so. Yeah.) I just really enjoyed the book in itself, the plot and everything. Fun!
Enterprise: The First Adventure by Vonda McIntyre In light of the tv series called Enterprise, the title of this one might be a little confusing… But it’s most definitely TOS and has nothing to do with Enterprise, haha. The premise is that it’s the first voyage of the Enterprise with Jim as the captain. And the mission is…to transport a theater troupe. It’s ridiculous and so silly, I know, but it’s really fun. There’s a winged horse, a really un-Vulcan Vulcan (I think he’s Spock’s cousin? I don’t really remember tbh), Spock heckling the theater troop, Uhura being a good friend to Janice…that’s all I remember off the top of my head, but I remember really enjoying it when I read it!
Unspoken Truth by Margaret Wander Bonanno Remember what I said about those two writers? Lol. Okay so this is a Saavik-centric book. I really love Saavik, okay? So, as you might know, Saavik is half Vulcan, half Romulan. Well in this book (actually, in a bunch of books, by at least three different writers, it seems to be her accepted backstory in the novels) she was the result of a terrible experiment by Romulans, and when it didn’t work out, she and a bunch of other children were abandoned on a planet called Hellguard, and…some really horrible things happen. Anyway, Spock saves her, mentors her, and Amanda and Sarek basically adopt her (literally, she calls them mother and father, IT’S MY FAVE), well anyway, years later, either after or during TVH, she learns things are happening to the survivors of Hellguard…and the story goes from there. This was really good! Intense tbh. I loved it, but then, I love Saavik. If you don’t like her… But if you do, you’ll enjoy this one!!!!
Doctor’s Orders by Diane Duane Diane Duane is another must read author. All her books are excellent. In all honestly, I don’t remember too much about the plot of this one, but I know I liked it! Dr. McCoy is like “you can’t make me take command on the bridge” and Jim is like “uh actually I CAN” so he does and of course on McCoy’s very first day watching over the bridge Jim goes AWOL and shit starts going down. Poor Bones. Also, there’s some crazy aliens in this one, but they’re interesting!
The Vulcan Academy Murders by Jean Lorrah This one has such misleading cover art, lmaooo. At least, the version I have. There might be others… Anyway. Patients at a hospital on Vulcan keep dying and stuff, and then Amanda is in trouble. Lots of Sarek and Spock and Jim and Bones interaction. It’s a good one. (It’s been soo long since I read this one, too, sorry. But again, I know I enjoyed it!)
Uhura’s Song by Janet Hagan I love the alien species in this one. They’re like giant cats, and I love cats. When I read it, I got really into the planet and the species and their culture. The plot is that an old friend of Uhura’s is from this planet, and they “exchanged songs”…songs are a big deal in their culture. Anyway, there’s a plague threatening everyone on the planet and humans, too, and they think a song might hold the key to curing the disease, so they all go down on the planet to try and find it.
Strangers From The Sky by Margaret Wander Bonanno The plot to this one is…kind of hard to describe. Okay. So the parts with Jim and Spock go back and forth in time, part of the time being like, post-all the movies (I think) where they’re old friends (and really married, they’re just like. Margaret Bonanno has this way of inserting this really easy, casual intimacy they have with each other, and calling it friendship when OBVIOUSLY they’re married af, but either way I love it) and part of the time being very early on when Jim hasn’t been in command for long and he and Spock didn’t care much for each other (I mean personally I think they liked each other quite well from the start, but I’ll let it go, lol)… And then there’s a book. In the book. That everyone is reading and obsessed with and Jim starts reading it… It sounds weird, I know, but the book in the book is the story of the first time Vulcans came in contact with humans, long before the OFFICIAL first contact, it was when Vulcans crash landed on Earth and were discovered by some humans… I fucking love Vulcans, so that is obviously a great point of interest for me. Lol. Anyway when Jim reads the book he has nightmares, but then he discovers Spock has those nightmares, too, and it’s more than ‘just’ a book. Probably sounds bizarre but I really enjoyed it. ….and doesn’t every Trek plot EVER sound bizarre af when you try to describe it?
That’s all I’ve got right now!! This got so long I’M SO SORRY TBH BUT I HAD TO BE THOROUGH.

AIGHT
I’m not huge into fandoms in general. Early in life I wasn’t super into a lot of things that other people on tumblr were. The closest I ever got into being part of a community that made things centered around a show or youtuber was SlyFoxHound back in the day. I wonder what he’s up to. I haven’t watched him in years. I made a couple of fan-art things. I drew way better back then. I wasn’t trying so hard. Maybe that’s been my problem tbh
kind of a cousin of that, i’m not super into shipping, but honestly if you don’t think that Hardison and Parker, Danny and CJ, and Charlie and Zoey are perfect for each other then you’re wrong (wow two of those are West Wing oops).
eh, if it’s not perfect then i’m not very invested. The OT3 of Hardison, Parker, and Elliot is super cute tho (and apparently it was confirmed cannon after the fact?????).
oh gosh, i’m gonna try and take one per show, 1 Josh Lyman, 2 Alec Hardison, 3 Satan (TDIAPT), 4 Jean-Luc Picard, 5 Sam Seaborn (i lied)
Same attempt 1 Abby Bartlet, 2 Sophie Deveraux, 3 Asuna (From SAO while she was still a badass general and a human being), 4 Claire Temple (holy shit i’m in love), 5 The Hero Amelia and Mariah Dillard (such well written trauma-based characters tbh)
HONESTLY okay so my favorite stories are where there’s no clear-cut villain, just because as a philosophy i hate the idea of a “true good vs evil” so i’ma go with antagonist. This list changes a lot, so the order her is mostly inconsequential 1 JIM. FUCKING. STIRLING., 2 Jed Bartlet’s inner demons (yeah i said it), 3 Envy (FMA:B), 4 Klingons (as they’re often set up as antagonists to the federation in an ideological sense, regardless of what side they’re on and i like that complexity), 5 Azula.... holy shit Azula.
1 Martin Sheen, 2 Mark Sheppard, 3 Bradly Whitford (i did not expect his performance in Get Out to be nearly that good tbh), 4 Richard Schiff, 5 Sir Patrick Stewart. I’m sorry, West Wing had too strong of a cast lmaooo
1 Allison “The Jackal” Janney, 2 Stockhard Channing, 3 Kirsten Vangsness (Character didn’t break the top 5, but holy shit how Kirsten plays Penelope is absolutely flawless. Granted i’ve only seen like 7 or 8 seasons of the show tbh and can’t bring myself to watch more), 4 Lucy Liu (Haven’t given Elementary the attention it deserves but holy shit do i love this woman and how she makes the very standard “Watson” character incredibly fun and unique with how well she portrays an actual guide/friend for Sherlock rather than just a kindamaybe gay lackey), 5 again, Claire Temple wouldn’t be nearly the character she was without Rosario Dawson to back her up. SO FREAKIN SMART, strong, idealistic, and given a real backbone by Rosario.
eeeehhh probably just West Wing at this point. I listen to one podcast and reblog the few drops of fan-made content we get every month. Does that consist of being “involved”?
Youtube communities and comment sections very early on in my highschool career had a HUGE impact on who I became, how energetic i was, how much i value my friends, and what games i played. Thank you Homies. That’s one community that i’m never gonna forget, even if i wasn’t in the in-crowds. I’ve never been at the cool kids table even for the nerds lmaooo
Political Drama and high fantasy
Don’t read fanfiction.
I don’t read much anymore oops. I’ve been trying to fix that for years. I don’t really read enough to have a good voice on this. I’ve been enjoying Naomi Novik’s His Majesty’s Dragon but I started the second book over a year ago and i’m only halfway through and starting it over again because i forgot all of it.
I’m gonna follow what Jordan Peele does. Get Out was beyond amazing. I’ve also recently found a few AMAZING youtube channels that I think everyone should check, out, here, are, just, a few. These all have to do with critical analysis of media, be it youtube, films, or video games, but they all have a very unique way to do it in a way I find INCREDIBLY valuable and entertaining. PLEASE click at least one of them!!!
That was probably longer than originally intended and more than anyone cares to read, but eh. you can blame @the-fanaddict.
I tag (i think i tag 5?): @scatteredintellect @sam-i-am-seaborn @crimsonphaquer @thatll-do and @helltooth

Women Go Viral After Closing Their Accounts at Nordstrom in Support of Ivanka Trump
youtube
Over the past few weeks, multiple brands have dropped the Ivanka Trump label in protest of her father’s policies. Yet, as most clearly evidenced by a video shared by Laurie Ray on Facebook, the first daughter still has her supporters.
Ray, along with Sara Salazar Williams, Jeannie Petersen Guthrie, Natalie Poulsen Germaine, Krysta Noel Price, and Amy Llewelyn, recently went to Nordstrom to cancel their accounts with the company. “Dumped #Nordstrom today for Dumping Ivanka! This is how it went down… #byenordstrom #buyivanka,” reads the caption of the video, which has received 1.2 million views and nearly 18,000 shares since it was posted Wednesday.
The group, wearing matching T-shirts with a black-and-white photo of President Trump and “Haters Gonna Hate” on it, visited a Nordstrom store in Chandler, Ariz., and filmed their experience canceling their accounts with the department store. “Because they caved, no money for Nordstrom,” one of the women said. “Headed to Dillard’s to buy all kinds of stuff,” another said.
“I was actually a former employee for a number of years and I’ve been shopping at Nordstrom’s for 30 years, and because of your decision to drop Ivanka Trump, I will no longer shop at your store, nor will my husband or our nine children or our eight grandchildren,” Ray was captured saying to customer service.
In response to the video, Guthrie shared a lengthy post on Facebook thanking those who responded kindly. “We had no intent of ever entertaining anyone other than our few fb friends/family and enjoying a good time together as girlfriends. I am thrilled to find that we were not alone in this cause and that thousands and thousands and thousands of others were doing the exact same thing as us,” she wrote. However, the attention that the video has received has also meant that the women have been criticized. “As our posts reached ‘viral’ status, trolls and haters found us. They decided to play dirty. It is disheartening to see so many fellow Americans and especially women make such awful comments to people they do not know,” Guthrie continued. “I love everyones [sic] right to disagree, but I do not love anyones [sic] choice to spew undue hate. We are strong women. We stand for the things we believe in. Opposition will not change that in us, no matter the level of UGLY they show.”
These women aren’t alone. The hashtags #BoycottNordstom and #BuyIvanka are flooding social media, even after presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway apologized for urging viewers to support Ivanka Trump’s line during a Fox News interview. “Go buy Ivanka’s stuff is what I would tell you,” Conway said last week. “It’s a wonderful line. I own some of it. I fully — I’m going to just, I’m going to give a free commercial here: Go buy it today, everybody. You can find it online.”
Many on Twitter ridiculed Nordstrom for being petty, with one woman regretting her recent shopping spree. “Bad move, Nordstrom! You just lost a customer that spent over $11K at your stores just in 2016.” Others vowed to fill their closets with Trump-branded clothing. On Instagram, anti-Trump protests were chalked up to publicity stunts.

I'm buying @IvankaTrump clothes tonight. I have 1 top already that I love. It's VERY flattering, cute & work appropriate. ❤ #BoycottNordstom

Blaming “poor sales,” Nordstrom announced that it was pulling Ivanka Trump merchandise from its stores on Feb. 3, shortly after President Trump signed an executive order to halt immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries. Nordstrom said it had given Ivanka Trump notice in January and denied caving in to pressure after topping the #GrabYourWallet hot list, a grassroots movement to boycott companies that sell Trump products.
Still, the president took it personally, tweeting, “My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!” White House press secretary Sean Spicer followed up with “This is a direct attack on his policies and her name.”
The result of the president’s tongue-lashing was a 7 percent increase in Nordstrom stock. According to CNN Money, the department store’s stock price had reached $46 by last Thursday, up from $42.65 before the tweet, and has remained in that range.
Yet grassroots boycotts have been around for decades, and research shows that they generally don’t harm a company’s bottom line, only its public image — “in part because the activists are not typical consumers of their target companies’ goods,” writes Brayden King at Fortune. “For example, animal rights activists who belong to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals would not frequent the fast-food restaurants they often urge consumers to avoid. In addition, consumers tend to be fickle and unwilling to part from their favorite products and services to support a boycott, even when they are ideologically aligned with its goals.”
Some companies aren’t even waiting to be boycotted — they’re jumping into the fray and clarifying their political positions. Reebok just released a “Nevertheless She Persisted” T-shirt — a battle cry sparked by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who last week was silenced by the Senate after attempting to read a letter by civil rights activist Coretta Scott King while opposing the confirmation of Sen. Jeff Sessions as attorney general. And the CEO of menswear company Under Armour has praised President Trump as a “highly passionate” and “pro-business president.”
Whatever your political views and fashion preferences, boycotts seem to be here to stay. Eighty-one percent of consumers say they’ll make personal sacrifices to stick to their morals, according to recent research. There’s never been a better time to expand your style horizons!

Episode Recap of "Could It be Twins?"
Stop teasing people with the twin crap! Nobody cares but you.
Season 3, Episode 2 - First Aired: January 23, 2017
From TV Guide;"Ben hops on the stage when he and Jessa, who's expecting baby No. 2, attend a Flame concert. Meanwhile, Jinger's wedding planning continues." Just kill me now..............
1. The show begins with a lot of clips of what happened, nothing, and what is about to happen, nothing. The clips seem to be just filler to make up for having nothing to film. Izzy is fussy and crying in the first scene which sets up my mood for this recap. I'm in no mood for this insipid twaddle concerning the Duggdillawaldolos but I continue cause I love ya'll.
2. The Seewalds arrive at the Dillard's home. Well, it's not really their home. Jill and Jessa have been married for two to three years now and neither of them yet own their own homes with their husbands. They are all still living under Jim Bob's roofs. Such leaches! Anyway, Jessa is coming over to see Jill for her typical crappy prenatal care. Jill holds questionable credentials as a midwife and is known for having no common sense. She and Jessa's first births were near disasters but they decide to go the same horrible pregnancy and birth routes that failed them before. Anything to save a few bucks. Jessa, at 18 weeks along, hears the heartbeat and is reassured that there is a baby inside and she's not just sick. So this pretty much confirms she has not seen a doctor. Next will be the storefront baby ultrasound place to tell her what the gender is instead of an actual doctor. You know those storefront businesses that don't know anything about genetic or general abnormalities. Good luck baby Seewald. You're starting off life horribly. Then the twin talk begins. I was aware of Michelle's two sets of twins but never heard that her mom had two sets of twins. In all these years nobody has ever mentioned that Michelle had twin siblings. I wonder why? Is it even true?  Next up, to get the mostly hidden Duggar boys involved in the show, the producers ask them what Jessa should name her baby. The boys come off as dolts.
3. Jinger wedding prep for the already aired wedding is still happening. Ms. Linda is back on the show to help Jinger choose some food for the rehearsal dinner. I thought that job was for the groom's parents. I guess since TLC is paying for most of the wedding, the Vuolos got off easy in the wallet department. Jinger tries a few of the pasta dishes even though she has no clue what she's eating. She decides on a rigatoni spiral white sauce and red sauce cheesy thing...she has no clue but it tastes good. Then on to choosing the food for the reception. These receptions are always good for a chuckle. She decides to do cheese, crackers, a relish bar???, coffee and meatballs. WTH is a relish bar? Oh, "It's a lot of pickled stuff." Yuck! I don't eat beef, so screw the meatballs. I don't eat pickled stuff because it's gross and then to mix pickled stuff with coffee and cheese? If I ever attend a Duggar wedding, I will be bringing a take-out box of chicken parmesan and wine and I will have everyone dying of envy.  Joy explains that the wedding is in the afternoon so people at the reception shouldn't expect a meal. On what planet, Joy!? People come to help you celebrate your big day. They don't have to come. People bring gifts to help you start out your new life as a married couple. They are expected to bring gifts. You ask for them to buy gifts through your registries. It is then protocol that in return you are expected to feed your guests a decent meal no matter what time of day. You can have a breakfast reception or a brunch, a lunch, an early bird supper, a late night dinner or an all-nighter binge, but you are expected to feed your wedding guests. Your problem is in inviting too many people. Who the heck invites 1000 people? That is just showing off. Duggar weddings are all about me and screw those who attend.
4. Cheese testing Duggar style. There is a lot of face making, nose holding, and no clues about what they are eating, but the groomsmen want a cheese table so Jinger steps out of her American cheese safety net and experiments. The boys suddenly come out of the wood work, because you know they don't have school or real jobs and are always home, and start power eating cheese. Jim Bob is again banned from the set and the show. Yay! Then the producers, who are doing everything they can to kill this show, it must be why they all remained after the scandals, ask the kids this profound question, "If Jinger were a cheese, what kind of cheese would she be?" If Jinger were a cheese? How about asking, "If Jinger were a free woman, where would she flee?" That question might boost the ratings a bit. Joy says Jinger is not that moldy cheese even though most cheese has mold in it so I guess Jinger is not cheese. She's a spice. Jinger decides to go with the "more classic cheeses". I guess a field trip to a cheese factory is out for this family. They would hurt their faces too much from the exotic aroma. They might want to avoid The Cheesecake Factory as well. Too scary!
5. Anna makes an appearance on this episode in order to bring a TLC check home to the child molesting adulterer. She and her kids and Jill and her kid are visiting a kids' play place. Izzy does the normal baby thing and pushes Meredith which causes Jill to explain that 18 month old Izzy is entering his "training twos". Woof, woof! Hey, we have puppy training classes, how come we don't have toddler training classes. Izzy, Spuddy, Meri walk in a circle, heel, sit, roll over,  beg for goldfish crackers. I guess babies are a little more complicated than puppies which is why we DON'T call raising children, training. Except for potty training. I'm all about leashes and swats on the nose with a roll of toilet paper there. Anna looks happy to be out of the house and away from Josh for the afternoon. Her kids are adorable and she is glad to spend time with Jill before she goes "overseas" again. Jill hasn't been overseas since she went to Nepal. What is she talking about? Central America is not overseas. And this woman is homeschooling her kids? I hope at least not in geography.
6. Ben is excited to take a road trip to see Flame in concert. This is his first time seeing Flame and Jessa's first concert ever. Ben raps in the car on the way to the concert and if Spud wasn't buckled up in the back seat it looks like Jessa was considering bailing out the window. Jessa says she appreciates the lyrics of Flames songs but the rapping is too fast for her catch. Jed, in a talking head, says, "The Duggars haven't attended many concerts. We like to watch things maybe as a family but when we have to go out in a crowd we rather stay home....blah, blah, blah. He's making excuses for their isolationist beliefs. People scary...hide under the bed. Jessa gives Ben permission to be a part of Flame's show. He was assigned the task of spraying the crowd with water guns. It's safer for the white guy to pull out any type of gun these days.
7. Cindy shows up not to see her best buddy Michelle, who is absent from this episode, but to visit the church locations with Jinger and Joy.  Cindy, who has a sense of humor, has Jinger make a prank call to Jeremy to tell him that Jinger is going to sing to him during the ceremony. When Joy sees Jeremy on the phone, she says, "Hi babe." Such a flirt! Jeremy and Jinger giggle at the horrible idea of her singing and then say goodbye. Now the trio are heading to a different church building where the reception will be held. Such a step up for the Duggars to not be planning a parking lot reception. This has to be the Vuolos' idea. The reception room just looks like an auditorium. It has rows and rows of seats and a stage. Not really an ideal location for meatballs and cheese. Maybe this isn't a step up after all.
8. Flame sings, Spud, with ear protection on, falls asleep, and Ben is a nervous wreck about his role in the show. The crowd cheers when Ben runs on with the water gun but I'm not sure if the cheer was for him or the cooling spray. Ben is so hyped with the experience that he looks ready to run away from home and join Flames' concert tour. Instead of being a deadhead with the Grateful Dead, Ben can be a Flamer for Flame. We need more flamers in the world. ;) Seriously, we do.
