their dynamic would be something similar to glados and wheatley, but better john intentionally appears to be stupid and then outsmarts better dirk's words every chance he gets. upon their first meeting, better john lied told better dirk that he was created to annoy the shit out of him. they met for 3 minutes and they're already 10 times divorced.

hi, i just wanted to say that i like your art. my dumbass didn't make the connection that you were also chessb0r3d, even if you totally wrote it in your bio lmao. And i do like your content there also. anyways i like what you draw too and i don't really have a request but please accept this mini DirkJohn comic i've made, as a gift of this catastrophe titanic ship but also as a token of representation that they'd be absolute disasters together, and would probably self-explode. which is hilarious and endearing in a messed up way, considering their character.

paradox babies are very smart on their own, (dirk literally wanted to go back right after he was born) and he would learn from watching movies and anime from the internet, of course. [see under the cut]

and as for other food sources, we wouldn't really have any other way to get anywhere but the ocean. but he would have some seeds(and various planting materials for them) left for him in his kitchen from rose at least (for making tea c:). not to mention the orange sodas with it. (because rose told dave to get those for him)(and rose would have plenty of things left for both dirk and roxy. :) )

and i think that the apartment beams full of marine life would be beautiful. very bountiful. absolutely good for the baby.

I also think Dirk's kitchen would have plenty of kitchen appliances and all kinds of knives. He would use a good ol linemen knife to skin wires! ^^

People are so mean about hsbc being canon wth. I'm someone who LIKES hsbc, and I find it FINE if people don't want it to be canon. Like wtf. People need to get a grip it's a comic calm down.

omg SAME!! (i don't care about hsbc unless we get a meat timeline update with ult dirk) and i currently have no interest in reading any of the updates being made right now, but the artists were cooking, and the panels are cool.

I have this intense fixation on John and Dirk interacting (not necessarily romantically even) that I almost consider separate from my interest in Homestuck, and it's not like something that I thought would be awesome when I read the comic or anything it just spawned in my head full blast- which is kind of weird because I hadn't read Homestuck in 8 years and was never a big shipper- and I was like well I guess I have to read the comic now to support this thing and hopefully it'll go away (it didn't.) Anyway that's not your problem it's mine.... I apologize if this is maybe a weird thing to say but I wanted to say thank you for being a hard-core johndirker. Your art is so awesome...everything reads so clearly and it's so lively & 3 dimensional. Such a joy to look at. I also wanted to thank you specifically for sharing those essays at the top of this blog...it was so nice to read other people's thoughts about it sans bewilderment. The way that their characters relate to eachother is just so interesting. Like they reference eachother via omission/opposition. It's really a shame that they never interact in Canon but I guess that's kind of a part of the appeal for me. I typed up a whole other thing but this ask is already really long so I think that I'm going to end it here....please have a nice day !

no because watching that entire debate go down in real time was crazy. It honestly felt like they were arguing for the sake of arguing 😭😭 Like.. the title is literally BEYOND canon, I feel like whatever argument you have gets thrown out the window.
