LÁ BOHEME ENCERRA A TEMPORADA DO S.CARLOS : lá estaremos amanhã na estreia da produção vinda de Zagreb , encenada por Arnaud Bernard numa produção da Ópera de Zagreb e a direção musical será confiada ao jovem Diego Matheuz.
A história amorosa de dois jovens artistas que vivem no Quartier Latin de Paris na primeira metade do século XIX é talvez a obra mais popular de todo o repertório operático. A catadupa de árias muito belas recomenda-a como primeira escolha para quem se queira iniciar como espectador do canto lírico .Giacomo Puccini inspirou-se em “Scènes de la vie bohème” de Henri Murger que os libretistas Luigi Illia e Giuseppe Giacosa transformaram numa pungente história de amor centrada no pintor Rodolfo e na infeliz Mimì.La bohème estreou-se em Turim em fevereiro de 1896 e, apesar de pouco reconhecida pela crítica da altura, bem depressa encontrou sucesso em todos os palcos internacionais.

Calixto Bieto is set to direct a new production of Wagner’s Ring Cycle with an all-star cast.
“Das Rheingold” will star Iain Paterson as Wotan, Lauri Vasar as Donner, Ekaterina Gubanova as Fricka, Anna Gabler as Freia, while “Die Walkure” will be headlined by Jonas Kaufmann as Siegmund, Eva-Maria Westbroek as Sieglinde, Martina Serafin in the role of Brünnhilde, Ekaterina Gubanova as Fricka, Paterson as Wotan, and John Relyea as Hunding.
In the third installment, “Siegfried,” Paterson will take on the Wanderer with Julie Fuchs as the Waldvogel, Martina Serafin as Brünnhilde, and Andreas Schager in the title role.
“Gotterdämmerung” will star Anna Gabler as Gutrune, Ricarda Merbeth as Brünnhilde, Sarah Connolly as Waltraute, Johannes Martin Kränzle as Gunther, and Schager as Siegfried.
Philippe Jordan conducts the entire Ring Cycle.
