Station 19 rewatch: 4x14

Going to try to do another rewatch before my family wakes up. We have a lot to do today and there is a dark cloud over the house after loaing our cat this week. Here's hoping i can get through one of my favorite episodes before they get up.

Surrera is so cute here and the whole food thing, like girl where is our payoff on this baby that was so clearly teased. Or is there another medical condition that could be blamed on her excessive eating.

Im so glad maya and andy are friends again. I loge their friendship.

I'm glad andy acknowledges that getting married doesnt fix things; but i worry that if maya and carina hit a rough patch, andy will remind maya of this conversation or use her own issues with sullivan and their marriage as an i told you so.

Danielle is beautiful but does anyone else think she lost weight, random question but just looking at her in her uniform there she seems smaller and it worries me. Didnt really notice last time i watched this episode but am i alone in this.

I love that maya opens up with carina about her dad and the protests and the happenings in the world with him. It shows so much growth and im here for it. Also anyone else annoyed that one carina answered gabriella's phone call when maya is opening up to her and two that she didnt turn it off for their last few hours together.

The look of like disappointment/devestation on maya's face when carina answers the call and walks away from her is too much hurt.

So sad that bailey isnt there and that ben is alone for even a second of this.

I'm glad andy and sullivan came to be there with ben. Like i get why they wanted andy but im sad after ben and Dean's episode dean wasnt there.

Carina packing up her knives being a trigger for maya like she's leaving forever is heartbreaking.

Carina snapping at maya hurts, dont be mean to baby. Also the kitchen sign is totally carina's doing and though she hadnt confided in maya yet that she is her home its a dead giveaway.

The kids talk, the coming out talk and the marriage talk are all things that should not be done while packing or doing anything else.

Andy and ben together, this friendship is beautiful. I feel like it took several seasons for ben to really get in good the team. Im trying to think of other moments besides the prt support and such when he really connected with folks before this season and none come to mind. He has been an outlier from my memory, tell me im wrong with examples please.

I dont need her fluent but id love to see her use some italian with carina. She lost her brother who she spoke to in her native tongue itd be nice for her to gain that in her wife.

I love how carina stops herself as she raises her voice at maya, like she realizes it may be triggering to maya. I really do think the show and actresses put in a lot in this episode to show how well they know each other and have grown. I feel like they talk more even if we dont see it and maya is working on her issues with carina's love and support. I also do love how this argument ends though ;)

Once again maya opening up and finally carina is there and not sidetracked. And its nice carina opens up as well.

Ben's dream with the different versions of himself and his mom is funny and heartbreaking.

And i guess i dont underatand the outrage of the "just because", like why would carina think it was anything but that when it was dropped on her like that and after she said she didnt want to get married. This fight is so much about misunderstandings and hurtful comments.

I get how maya's fear gets the best of her here especially after carina said they just moved in together because they didnt want to be apart (asif that is a bad thing) and it was bureaucracy.

And i can understand why maya's fear hurts carina but they both needed to take a minute to breathe and try to talk it out.

I do like when carina tells maya to breathe, again like she knows her triggers and feels maya is on the verge of a panic attack.

If carina felt she married maya when she moved in i really dont see the harm in making it official. Would her having been moved out in italy for 6 months or more have felt like a divorce. I really need to know more about her logic here.

If we let the wrong decisionss rule how we live our lives things in the world would be so different. Less babies possibly and fewer marriages among other things.

s17: episode 4, goth kids 3: dawn of the posers. probably my fav goth kids centric episode ^_^ its so good n funny

s18: episode 3, the cissy. starts sniffling and crying again, but this time in transgender mode. i also love episode 6, freemium isnt free bc we get another Glimpse into stans issues w addiction ^_^ peace and love on planet earth

s19: episode 6, tweek x craig. love wins, gay ptide, etc etc

s20: um. i actually kinda hated this season. but ig if i Had to choose one, itd be episode 10, the end of serialization as we know it, bc it finally ended that season ^_^ no offense to any s20 stans out there, i just thought it was so boring

s21: episode 2, put it down. tweek n craig content, gay ptide ^_^ this is also the one where we learned that tweek can sing, play piano, And bake, and we also got to see craig learn how to support tweek better, which was very sweet ^_^

s22: episode 10, bike parade. i didnt super love this season either, so its kinda a case of picking the one i wasnt bored with. plus in a way it kinda felt like one of the original episodes, it was like a lil blast from the past !

s23: episode 2, band in china ^_^ we got stans band, crimson dawn !! it was great learning more abt how stan felt abt having to move to a farm, plus butters ripping it on a guitar was so funny. and then randy did stuff too idk

s24: this season has just been the 2 specials so far, but i liked the vaccination special, episode 2 the best ^_^ bc 1, the brovorce arc started, n im rly excited to see what happens with that. and also the way it ended left me hopeful that maybe the shows gonna go back to the way it used to be a little bit <3 i also liked how we saw stan gettin really mentally ill with freaking out over the pandemic, but that mightve been in the first episode instead...

This actually happened to me today, and so I needed to vent it out in drabble form. SO have my.. heart… in oneshot form.

Sounds of muffled sobbing echoed throughout the room of a young adult girl. You were clutching your phone in your hands, trembling with grief as you tried not to remember what had transpired earlier that day.

‘lol we aren’t dating.’ ‘Why the hell would you say that?!’ ‘You are my sub. I care for my sub. You know like master and pet.’

Tears escaped from your eyes. You bit your lower lip harshly, trying not to wake up the boys in the house with your crying. You had your heart broken by a long time friend who had been using you as a play thing for 7 years.

It hurt you so bad that you had thought of committing suicide at that very moment. You had been led on for 7 years by your so called friend. And yet you were going to act like it never happened and let the friend continue what he was doing to you.

A knock on your door startled you out of your thoughts. You tried to stop crying, but it got worse. “Y-yes?” You hoarsely choked out.

“Y/N? Are you ok? We’ve been hearing crying.” Edd’s voice came from the door. He sounded worried like he was in mama mode.

You didn’t wanna worry the boys so you tried to stifle your sobbing. You wiped your eyes from the tears and cradled your phone in your hands. “I’m just crying over an anime. I’m fine. Go back to sleep.”

The doorknob jiggled, and the door opened. Four boys peeked into the room, looking at the trembling figure on the bed. Each of them had worried expressions on their faces as Edd walked forwards and sat on the bed beside you.

“Y/N, what’s wrong?” Edd asked, placing a hand on your shoulder as he leaned forward to take a look at your face. He was alarmed when he saw the tears streaking down your face and your puffy red eyes. Edd immediately embraced you in a hug. “Shhhh, it’s alright. Tell me what’s wrong.”

You began to hiccup a little, clutching onto Edd’s hoody in desperation. “I got my heart broken.”

Edd narrowed his eyes. “Which one did it. I’ll kick their ass.”

You chuckled, “It wasn’t anyone here. He lives in the U.S.” You felt your heart hurting even more at the mention of him. More sobs escaped your throat.

“Who was it, Y/N?” Matt asked from the other side of you.

You let go of Edd, staring down at your hands to where the phone lay. It was still on, displaying the texts that were sent earlier today. You timidly gave it to Matt, who grabbed it and began reading it. You heard him gasp.

“Oh honey, he’s a dick. He’s a perverted son of a bitch for doing this to you.” Matt immediately gave the phone to Edd and hugged you tightly. Matt kissed you on the forehead softly.

Edd read through the texts with hatred in his eyes. He clutched the phone hard enough to break it. “That bastard…” he cursed.

You felt pathetic. You weren’t really dating, but you kinda shared intimate moments with one another so it felt like you were dating. And to have it all come crashing down because you accidentally said one wrong thing. Tears began to collect in the corner of your eyes again. “Im such an idiot.”

Matt pulled away and lifted your head up to face him. “You are not an idiot. You had no idea he would do this. You are not to blame.” Matt stated firmly.

Edd felt two sets of eyes on him, and so he looked behind himself to see Tord and Tom looking into your room in confusion. He motioned with his head to come inside as he handed one of them your phone to read as he looked sympathetically at you.

Tom and Tord both raised an eyebrow in confusion as they glanced at one another before reading the texts on the phone. They scrolled through the texts, both feeling anger consume them. Tord nearly broke your phone from how hard he was gripping it.

Both boys sat on the bed, Tord pulling you into his lap as he rest his head on yours. Tord pulled you into a hug, whispering soothing things to you in his native language.

Tom grabbed one of your hands and began to lightly trace your knuckles with his thumb. He stared at your phone in deep thought. “He doesnt deserve you.” He finally said.

“We are here for you.” They all said giving you a sense of comfort. You loved them all dearly.

“Thank you guys.”
