Who let the dog out? This incarnation of the 80s Grue Crew did, for their 100th episode together and for this year’s Halloween episode. For the occasions, they dip back into the Stephen King well for one of the trio of his films released in 1983: Cujo. Unleash the terror! Despite the puns, this film has a lot going for it. Director Lewis Teague gets powerful performances from Dee Wallace and Danny Pintauro that make Cujo a truly terrifying and heartwrenching movie. And then, there’s that rabid giant of a dog! The 80s bunch loves it! Even so, they go oft astray.
At the time of this writing, Cujo is available for streaming from MAX, as well as PPV from multiple sources. It is also available on physical media as Cujo (40th Anniversary Edition) in standard Blu-ray or 4K UHD formats from KL Studio Classics.
Every two weeks, Gruesome Magazine’s Decades of Horror 1980s podcast will cover another horror film from the 1980s. The next episode’s film, chosen by Chad, will be Maximum Overdrive (1986). It’s a King doubleheader and a double tap for the latter. Who doesn’t love a Green Goblin-adorned semi-truck?
Please let them know how they’re doing! They want to hear from you – the coolest, grooviest fans – so leave them a message or comment on the Gruesome Magazine Youtube channel, on the Gruesome Magazine website, or email the Decades of Horror 1980s podcast hosts at [email protected].

🤔 and💻,I really like thes ask emoji things lol
🤔 What is the hardest part of writing fic?
the hardest part of writing, for me, has to be dialogue. I get kind of picky about what I want the character to say or who says what line and I'll change it up, the character, until I feel like that person would say that specific line.
💻 Do you do research for your fics? What’s the deepest dive you’ve done?
I don't do a lot of research. I mean, for resident evil, I guess I do. just to make sure that I'm getting the backstories correct or just minor things about castle dimitrescu or donna's story, etc.
the deepest dive I've done would have to be for a wrestling fic that I basically abandoned a while ago I had to make sure I got the ppvs right, the times right, the locations, which wrestler was there and wasn't there and doing flashbacks, I'd have to make sure that even tho the conversations were my own that I got all of what I wanted to include right and with promos and stuff. it was a lot. not like the deepest of dives, but yeah.
I like this game too, wish I would get more questions from them! anyway, thanks for the ask 😊

Yellow, grey, and white?
WYellow: Do you remember your first match?I do. It was literally the Underdogs (Barry Horowitz, Hakushi, Marty Jannetty and Bob Holly) vs. the Body Donnas (Skip, Rad Radford, Dr. Tom Prichard and the 1-2-3 Kid). Literally the first PPV I ever bought. Survivor Series, 1995. It’s a workrate classic. Grey: Who has the best finisher? It’s hard not to say Bret, nobody ever got out of the Sharpshooter. Daniel Bryan’s flying knee is a close second, Sami’s Helluva Kick.White: Dream match? It’ll obviously never happen, but Eddie Guerrero vs. Shawn Michaels. The chemistry, the moveset. You know it would be amazing.

WWF SummerSlam 1996 PPV Review
Here we are with my second PPV review in as many days! Hog Wild and SummerSlam were very very close together so I’ve been feasting on a cornucopia of 90s wrestling goodness...or, in the case of these two particular PPVs, okayness. Let’s get munching already!
WWF SummerSlam 1996
Tumblr media
Date: August 18th, 1996 / Arena: Gund Arena - Cleveland, OH / Attendance: 17000 / Tagline: “Opposites Attack!”
Commentary Team Vince McMahon, Jim Ross, Mr. Perfect
Owen Hart pins Savio Vega in (13:23)
Why does Owen Hart’s theme sound like the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun instrumental?
Why DQ Owen for using his cast? If he can’t use the cast for safety reasons, definitely don’t let him wrestle for safety reasons lmao
JR (I think) says “the finest of all the Hart wrestlers is Owen!” um, I doubt it.
Owen using the cast was directly in the ref’s line of sight because Vega didn’t bump him...smh c’mon guys
Solid fucking match right here tbh. Good psychology, entertaining wrestling, fun heel work by Hart
My Rating [3*] / Daddy Meltzer’s Rating [2.5*]
Fatal Four-Way Elimination Tag Match for the WWF Tag Team Titles Billy Gunn & Bart Gunn “The Smoking Gunns” [c] def. Marty Janetty & Leif Cassidy “The New Rockers”, Henry Godwinn & Phineas Godwinn “The Godwinns”, and Skip & Zip “The Body Donnas” in (12:18)
This match’s rules make no sense and it’s so boring.
Apparently like...you can tag in other teams? Somehow? So Billy Gunn is required to wrestle Bart Gunn at one point? The fuck?
I don’t really get the Body Donnas’ gimmick either, as their bodies are not in amazing shape
You know things are bad when you say the sentence ”the most talented wrestler out of the eight in the match was Marty Janetty”
Apparently Leif Cassidy is actually Al Snow! huh! doesn’t make this match any fucking better
Way better than this piece of shit match is the ad afterwards for Cleveland public transit where the Godwinns race the Gunns to the arena--except, the Godwinns take the bus and the Gunns take a horse and carriage. Sunny cutting a promo on the Godwinns for cheating by riding the bus is hilarious.
My Rating [0*] / Daddy Meltzer’s Rating [DUD]
Sycho Sid pins The British Bulldog in (6:24)
Sid has a fun insanity gimmick but quite frankly he’s just outshined by Mankind in that department. Sort of like a Walmart / Chanel situation there
A lot of movement and impressive slams
Sick vertical suplex from Bulldog
The commentators can’t stop putting over Cleveland. Why? You’re speaking to the PPV audience. The arena can’t hear you.
A shot of Cornette in the locker room with Vader. Dear god, I adore Jim Cornette so much. Such a lovable grump.
Distraction from Corny leads to a win for Sid!
Sid absolutely fucks up Bulldog on the final powerbomb without even looking strained
My Rating [2.75*] / Daddy Meltzer’s Rating [1*]
Goldust w/ Marlena pins “The Wildman” Marc Mero w/ Sable in (11:01)
So apparently Goldust is thirsting after Sable, which leaves us with two possible conclusions: either Goldust is a bisexual icon or the sexual politics of mid-1990s WWF are murky and regressive. I wonder which one it could possibly be 🤔
A very creepy Goldust cosplayer is watching quietly in the front row
I love Goldust’s rope bounce--he gets lower than most wrestlers and sort of sinks into the ropes, leaning back a good bit. It gives the way he slings back more credibility
My Rating [2.75*] / Daddy Meltzer’s Rating [2.25*]
Jerry “The King” Lawler pins Jake “The Snake” Roberts in (4:07)
Any justice that I feel seeing Jerry get caressed by the snake is cancelled out by how awful this whole storyline is. Vince creating this storyline, exploiting Jake’s alcoholism, and then acting on commentary like it’s awful how Jerry is acting really breaks my ability to buy into the kayfabe because it is so reprehensible
And Jake has to lose and be humiliated just so Mark Henry can show up in a storyline? This is fucking awful.
My Rating [.5*] / Daddy Meltzer’s Rating [DUD]
Boiler Room Brawl Mankind def. The Undertaker in (26:40)
Love both these guys, and I love the Boiler Room Brawl stipulation. It’s just so weird and unnatural and savage. Incredibly entertaining.
It might run a litttttle bit too long though, to be honest
I do not like the lack of commentary either, i dunno why they just stopped talking
lmao you can hear the sound guys dialing the crowd noise back in specifically for the nutshot on Taker
Foley elbow drops onto the concrete floor we stan a bump king
Holy shit and the bump onto the tarp and ladders? Jesus
okay, it is WAY too long
the wrestlers cheering them on is so cute
HOT COFFEE SPOT HOLY SHIT
somebody screamed “he’s dead!” after mankind took the bump onto the concrete
NO PAUL DONT SCREW THE DEADMAN
Undertaker being taken out of the arena by druids is fucking amazing
My Rating [3.25*] / Daddy Meltzer’s Rating [NONE]
Wow, Meltzer is a stern daddy. No fun, no fun.
World Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Title Match Shawn Michaels [c] pins Vader in (28:59)
God, I love me some Jim Cornette!
things we know about Shawn Michaels going into this match
he thinks he’s cute
he knows he’s sexy
he’s got the looks that drive the girls wild
he’s got the moves that really move ‘em
he sends chills up and down their spines
god shawn michaels’ hurricanrana over the ropes and then backflipping back over the ropes...the man exudes big dick energy
Vader wins via countout, so no title
MEANING JIM CORNETTE MIC TIME HELL YES
Shawn Michaels is going another round okay!
And another one after another DQ finish!
More Cornette talking which is dope
Ugh fuck the McMahon commentary era, you CANNOT expect me to believe that a dude named Gorilla Monsoon was ever president of the WWF
SWEET CHIN MUSIC AND A KICKOUT!
Vader moonsaulting never fails to impress me. wow.
Shawn hits a moonsault and pins to retain!
My Rating [3.75*] / Daddy Meltzer’s Rating [4*]
Overall PPV Grade [C+]
A few dope ass matches, and a few real fucking bores and bummers. A great main event, fun spooky shit for my goth side in that Boiler Room Brawl, and a healthy dose of Cornette makes sure I have a soft spot for this PPV--but personal preference aside it’s nothing special and underwhelming for a SummerSlam, to be sure.

Top 20 Female/Joshi Wrestlers of 2021 (Part 1)
Description: We're a long way away from the "Women's Revolution" and in some ways the treatment of female wrestling talent in the West has reverted back to the "Diva Era". In contrast, Joshi Wrestling at companies like STARDOM, has not only been able to stay afloat but grow during the pandemic. Not to be outdone though; the women's divisions of WWE, AEW, Impact & ROH still put up and good fight and overall made it a competitive year for women in Pro Wrestling.
4. Britt Baker D.M.D.-When AEW first started and Britt Baker was their first female signee, I was underwhelmed. I just didn't see it in her. I hadn't seen many of her matches, she seemed kind of pedestrian as a performer. She had a strong showing at what would be sort of a test show for AEW called, All In but as a babyface she didn't seem to connect all too well. When she adopted her heel persona, we started to see the better, Britt Baker. Although the women's division in AEW was in pretty bad shape when she started her rise to the top, she was able to make the most out of her rivalries with everyone including Big Swole who was relegated to AEW Dark before leaving the company. It's interesting that Britt admits that she studied Sasha Banks when she was training because they have a similar approach to their feuds and finding their chemistry with their peers.
In May of 2021, Britt Baker won the AEW Women's Championship. She scored major victories over Nyla Rose, Kris Statlander & Ruby Soho and also built a stable around herself with Jamie Hayter & Rebel.  While she definitely stepped up in terms of in-ring performance and pretty much controls the momentum behind women's wrestling in AEW...I don't think we've seen the peak of this run she's on.
3. Syuri-Syuri is a relatively new name to STARDOM but not to Joshi Wrestling or Women's Martial Arts in Japan. Her name has held a lot of weight on that front for years. I was first introduced to her in SMASH Wrestling during her rivalry with Kana (WWE's Asuka). She only has one win in the UFC against Chan-Mi Jeon but boasts an impressive Kickboxing record of 13-1.
If you're a Western Wrestling fan, you probably saw her name or heard it the most after she was awarded a 5.5 out of 5 stars by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter for her match against Utami Hayashishita in June of 2021. This would be the first in STARDOM company history but also the first Joshi match awarded 5 stars or more since 1995 which was awarded to a match between Joshi GOATs Manami Toyota and Akira Hokuto.
With Syuri's extensive rap sheet and list of accolades you would think she's not only close to veteran status or already there, but you would expect her to be nearing the end of her career but actually she's only 32. To put it in perspective, she's the same age as Bayley, Bianca Belair & Nikki Cross. She has so much more career, to go, so much she can do.
Syuri was trained by "The Japanese Buzzsaw", Yoshihiro Tajiri and with her background in combat sports became a notable figure for in Joshi Wrestling right away. Feeling that she had been overlooked and not receiving the credit she deserved for what she had done in the wrestling business or, Syuri kept working and eventually made her way to STARDOM where she joined Giulia's Donna Del Mondo faction.
Syuri had an incredible 2021 by winning the 5★Star GP, and winning the World of Stardom Championship at the end of the year. I think she's more than proven her value to Joshi Wrestling.
2. Sasha Banks-Looking at other "Best of 2021" lists it seems that everyone has kind of forgotten what type of year she had. While she wasn't exactly firing on all cylinders for the entire year the way she did in 2020, she still main evented Night 1 of WrestleMania against a rookie, they became the first two black people to not only main event a PPV together but also the biggest one of the year. They also won an ESPY for that moment. I don't care what anyone does for the rest of the year, nobody in 2021 aside from Bianca put up that level of accolades. Most of the women on this list will chase those accomplishments for the rest of their career and not hit those marks, let alone in just 1 year.
1. Bianca Belair-The EST of WWE had clear star potential from the start. Before she had a televised match in NXT, I saw footage of her that people had taken of her with their phones from dark matches. You could tell she was a natural for Pro Wrestling despite not growing up a fan. She was one of the first people WWE picked up that made their developmental process seem like it was actually for a professional sport and not a TV show. The moment the world fell in love with her is during her feud with Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women's Championship in 2019. She never won a title during her time in NXT but until the time she was called up to the main roster, she was kept in the mix as one of the top women on the brand.
When Bianca graduated to the WWE Raw, she had a pretty pedestrian first year. She didn't really do much. She didn't have any big rivalries, no memorable matches. It wasn't until she was moved to the SmackDown brand in the draft that she started to pick up steam. At the start of 2021 she began her ascent toward superstardom. She won the Royal Rumble and chose to challenge Sasha Banks instead of Asuka. She won the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania as the main event of Night 1, which is maybe the biggest leap in accomplishments for a wrestler so new to the big stage. She and Sasha Banks won the ESPY for Best WWE Moment and then she moved on to have high profile feuds with Bayley & Carmella before she met Becky Lynch at Summerslam. The rest of the year for Bianca was kind of a bust. Becky beating her killed her momentum cold, but she had accomplished so much by that point that she's in the mix now. She's a top woman in this company. They can't deny her.

The Fabulous Moolah, Velvet McIntyre, Rockin’ Robin, and the Jumping Bomb Angels vs. “Sensational” Sherri Martel, Dawn Marie, Donna Christianello, and the Glamour Girls (w/ “Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart) in a Survivor match
So we are now nearing the end of what has been a pretty important year for the WWF and as we come to the end, it was time to start expanding into the PPV market as to this point there was only one PPV and that was Wrestlemania. Coming off the major success that was WM III, there was enough push to add another PPV to the year and they decided to do that while also sticking it to their main competitor in Jim Crockett Promotions who at the time was also looking to tap into the PPV market. They would have their first PPV with Starrcade on Thanksgiving so Vince decided to counter with their own PPV on Thanksgiving called Survivor Series, and it would feature a brand new concept of having nothing but elimination matches that were called Survivor matches. Now while elimination matches weren’t uncommon as we have seen a few of them over the last few years, this was the first time we would see teams of 5 compete in a match which was pretty cool at the time to see this type of match. So for this inaugural edition they decided to have all aspects of the roster covered which means that even though there were only four matches, all bases were covered and that even included the women’s division as they got their own match as well. As I had mentioned, the women’s division by this point was pretty tepid and had been relegated to the backburner of the roster, but now it seemed like it would be pushed back up specifically with the emphasis on the Women’s Tag Titles. After dominating the Women’s Title since late-1985, the Fabulous Moolah was usurped as the top woman in the company by the shining star that was Sherri Martel and as mentioned the tag division was dominated by the Glamour Girls and Jumping Bomb Angels. So we did have to pull out a few older faces to try and fill this match out, but still it was pretty cool that the women did get their own showcase match on this new PPV.
We pretty much already went through the feud between the Glamour Girls and Jumping Bomb Angels so we can focus on the other issues going on in the women’s division, and on 7/24 at a house show in Houston Sherri would upset Moolah to become the new champion in her first match with the company. This would turn Moolah face by proxy and Sherri became the new top heel as she would work the house shows throughout August against McIntyre. Sherri would then work house shows against Moolah going into September before resuming the feud with McIntyre and on the 9/27 Wrestling Challenge, Sherri would again retain the title against McIntyre. In October, this match was made which would be the official debut of Robin while continuing the ongoing issues between Sherri and Moolah along with the Girls and Angels, and Sherri would spend November defending the title against Debbie Combs and Robin. Even though this match wasn’t as heavily hyped up on TV as the previous three matches were, this was a good chance for these ladies to try and steal the show from under the rest of the roster.
Sherri’s team got pretty solid heat as heels as you could tell that Christianello and Marie had been around the block quite a long time, and Moolah’s team get pretty good pops from the crowd as the Angels got the biggest pop on Moolah’s team. Sherri wastes no time and grabs at McIntyre to start the match and she rams her into the buckles, and then she hits a clothesline on McIntyre only for McIntyre to duck a second one and she hits a high crossbody for a two count. Moolah tags in and she kicks at Sherri before knocking her down twice and she hits a pair of snapmares, and she knocks Sherri back into her corner as Christianello tags in only for Moolah to yank her over the top into the ring. Moolah hits a slingshot on Christianello and tags Yamazaki who hits a slingshot dropkick on Christianello, but she misses a dropkick though she quickly tags McIntyre who pounds on Christianello and hits a back elbow. She hits a standing dropkick and a slam on Christianello for a two count as Christianello battles back on McIntyre, but McIntyre knocks her down and tosses her to the mat before leaping onto her shoulders and hooking a victory roll which gets the three and Christianello is eliminated. Kai comes in and kicks McIntyre to the mat twice before whipping her into the corner, but McIntyre catches her in a headscissors before hitting a dropkick and Robin tags in. They lock up with Kai bringing Robin to her corner and she tags Marie who rams the knee into Robin twice, and she slams Robin’s head into the mat twice and rams her into the buckle before tagging Martin. She pounds on Robin only for Robin to duck a shot and hit a high crossbody for a two count, and she hits a dropkick and a snapmare on Martin only for Martin to roll on top of Robin for a two count. She kicks at Robin and tags Sherri who hits a dropkick on Robin and she rams her into Marie’s knee, and Marie tags in and chokes her on the ropes before knocking her down as Robin tries to battle back on Marie. She hits a clothesline and a high crossbody which gets the three and Marie is eliminated, and Martin comes in and pounds on Robin before hitting a clothesline and she knocks Robin into her corner as Tateno tags in. Martin gets a kick in and hits a slam on Tateno who quickly bridges out of the pin, and she leaps over Martin before hooking a sunset flip for a two count and then she hooks a rollup on Martin for a two count. Kai tags in as Tateno hits a pair of high knees on her before hitting a high crossbody for a two count, and Yamazaki tags in and goes up top as she grabs Kai’s hand and hits an armdrag off the top. Sherri tags in only for Yamazaki to pull her over the top into the ring and she hits a back elbow, and she hits a double underhook suplex on Sherri for a two count before tagging Robin who pounds on Sherri. She knocks Sherri down and drops an elbow on her for a two count only for Sherri to get a shot in and she tags Kai who kicks at Robin, but Robin reverses a whip into the corner and hits a monkey flip. Kai recovers and rams Robin into the corner before tagging Sherri who pounds on Robin, and she hits a slam and a suplex which gets the three and Robin is eliminated. Yamazaki comes in and stomps on Sherri before hitting a pair of dropkicks as Martin tags in and gets a shot in before whipping Yamazaki into the corner, but she misses a charge only for Yamazaki to miss a charge and Martin whips her to the mat by her hair. McIntyre tags in as Martin grabs at her only for McIntyre to duck a shot and she hits a spinning crossbody for a two count, and Kai tags in only for McIntyre to yank her over the top into the ring and hit a slingshot. Moolah tags in and pounds on Kai before hitting a monkey flip and a dropkick and she knocks her down, and Martin tags in as Moolah grabs her and snaps her to the mat before pounding on her. Martin battles back and hits a back elbow on Moolah for a two count only for Moolah to get a kick in and she knocks Martin down, and she snaps Martin to the mat for a two count and tags Tateno only for Martin to grab her and pound on her. Kai tags in and goes up to the middle rope as she pounds on Tateno only for Tateno to get a shot in and she tosses Kai to the mat, but she misses a dropkick and she hits a flying forearm on Tateno. She rams Tateno into the buckle and tags Sherri who rakes the eyes and she slams Tateno’s head into the mat twice for a two count, and Martin tags in and tosses Tateno to the mat as Yamazaki tags in only for Martin to kick at her and send her to the outside. She pulls Moolah over the top into the ring only for Moolah to kick her away and she pounds on Martin before hitting a clothesline, She hits a slam and a snapmare on Martin before taking her to the mat with a headlock, but Martin whips her off and the Girls hit a double clothesline which gets the three and Moolah is eliminated.
Yamazaki comes in and kicks at Martin only for Martin to catch her with a boot and knock her down, but Yamazaki catches a second kick attempt and knocks her down before dragging her to the corner and tagging Tateno. She stomps on Martin’s leg and slams down on it before dropping an elbow on it and she tags McIntyre, and she stomps on Martin’s leg and hooks a Boston crab on Martin before transitioning into another submission. She hooks a surfboard submission on Martin who grabs the rope to force a break and she hits a dropkick on Martin, and Sherri tags in only for McIntyre to again drag her over the top into the ring though Sherri gets a shot in and slams McIntyre’s head into the mat. She chokes McIntyre on the ropes and snaps her to the mat before hitting a legdrop on McIntyre, and she hits a gutwrench suplex that looks like it spiked McIntyre’s head into the mat and Kai tags in as she tosses McIntyre across the ring. Yamazaki tags in only for Kai to grab her and toss her to the mat before using her body to knock Yamazaki down, and she hits a double underhook suplex on Yamazaki for a two count as the bell rings by mistake. McIntyre tags in and they lock up with Kai ramming McIntyre in her corner and Sherri tags in, but McIntyre escapes a double team and trips Sherri up before hitting a giant swing. Sherri reverses a whip into the corner only for McIntyre to leap onto the middle rope and she leaps onto Sherri’s shoulders, and then she hooks a victory roll which gets the three and Sherri is eliminated in a shocking moment. Martin comes in and drops an elbow on McIntyre repeatedly before choking her on the mat, and she stomps on McIntyre as Yamazaki tags in only for Martin to grab her and whip her into the corner only for Yamazaki to leap to the middle rope and hook a sunset flip for a two count. Yamazaki hits a rolling headbutt on Martin and attempts a slam which Martin blocks as Tateno tags in, and Tateno attempts a double underhook suplex which Martin blocks at first only for Tateno to hit the suplex for a two count. Kai tags in and trips Tateno up only for Tateno to hook a bodyscissors on Kai who fights out of the hold and hits a slingshot, and McIntyre tags in and pounds on Kai before hitting a back elbow and she hooks a rollup for a two count. She leaps onto Kai’s shoulders only for Kai to bounce her off the ropes and she hits an electric chair drop which gets the three and McIntyre is eliminated, and the Angels come in and hit stereo dropkicks on the Girls before whipping them into each other and hitting stereo slams. Tateno holds Kai down as Yamazaki slingshots Martin onto Kai and Tateno hits a slam on Kai, but Kai reverses a whip and Martin knees Tateno in the back from the apron as Kai hits a slam on Tateno. Kai goes up top only to miss the splash and Yamazaki tags in as she goes up top and hits a crossbody which gets the three and Kai is eliminated, and Martin comes in as they exchange kicks and Martin reverses a whip before kicking Yamazaki to the mat. She pounds on Yamazaki and slams her head into the mat before hoisting her onto her shoulders and slamming her to the mat for a two count, but Yamazaki ducks a shot and slams Martin to the mat before tagging Tateno. She goes up top as Yamazaki hits a slam on Martin and Tateno drops a knee on Martin, and the Angels hit a double backdrop on Martin as Jimmy gets on the apron. Yamazaki dropkicks Jimmy off the apron to the floor as Tateno goes up top and hits a clothesline on Martin, getting the three and the Angels are the sole survivors for their team.
The match itself was surprising pretty good as all 10 ladies worked hard and put on a solid Survivor match for the 20 minutes that they got. As I had mentioned before, the women’s division by this point was incredibly lacking in depth and the fact that they were able to pull this match off was quite a surprise to a lot of people. Obviously, you had some dead weight in there with Christianello and Marie who were way past their prime by this point and even Moolah had no business being in the ring by this point, and this ultimately ended up being a showcase for Sherri and the ongoing feud between the Girls and the Angels and it was pretty cool seeing Sherri interact with the Angels for the brief times she did. There were a few questionable decisions in this match such as Sherri not pinning Moolah to finish off that feud and also Robin doesn’t get a good showing as she is still really green, and an even stranger decision is having McIntyre eliminate Sherri which made no sense since McIntyre was pretty much out the door by this point. But they did get one thing right in having the Girls and Angels be the last ones in the match and you almost wished that they blew through the eliminations quickly and had these two teams work the majority of the match and it was also good to have the Angels win to build towards the inevitable title match. The crowd was surprisingly into the match and they did pop big for the Angels when they won. The Angels are the sole survivors for their team and now look to getting another title shot against the Girls.
Final Grade: ***
