Since June 6, I had the absolute delight to be visited by a doughbody whom I’ve dubbed as Smoothie Queen.

And on the 7th, she came back to visit me

And after being gone a couple days, she came back to my porch on the 14th. That’s when I realized she was blind in the left eye!

 And tonight (the 17), I’ve been blessed by her presence! 

I will continue to update on Smoothie Queen whenever she visits me.

Good morning! Such a good morning. For human doughbodies and yeastie beasties alike! I found the ultimate Springtime vacation home for our starters: great views, easy commute to the counter, and central heating. It’s the warmest place in our house— right above our microwave. Overnight, StanShiOrLuRoy IV launched his expansionist regime and burst out of his humble container; and seems to have inspired our YetToBeNamed Cambridge-wild-yeast starter to join him! She now smells normal (!) not like cheese (🤢) on her one week birthday. How she has grown, from starchy goo to stinky adolescent into a vibrant young adult. Taking votes for names — thinking of naming her io.
