You will not die with the cycle. I would like you to live.

The choice isn't easy. I won't pretend it is. You keep the cycle running because you believe you have to. That the world will end if you falter.
So I am asking you to risk it. I am asking Atlas to set down the world. I am asking Ouroboros to break the ring.
You cannot live by holding back. It's a trust fall, honestly. It's going to be scary. There are going to be things you weren't prepared for and didn't expect.
Some of those things will be beautiful. Many will simply be everyday, uneventful uncertainties. You will be able to deal with them when they happen, whether you could prepare for them or not.
Anson Mount talks about the axethrowing place he took his Strange New Worlds co-stars to as a mid-season gift, and how great Celia Rose Gooding's axethrowing skills are! :)

did you know that the forest can cry. it cries, cadmus. the pine needles fall when it cries. the moss and grass shake because the forest is crying. not one tree. not an individual. it cries, cadmus. not even tears, but big globs of sap slowly leak out from the inside. the forest is always crying, cadmus, it’s always crying. build up from within threatens to spill out and burst with new growth in the spring. it is always crying.

the bark breaks apart. the roots split the ground and sidewalk where good dense forest has been disrupted for other purposes. it cries, cadmus. it knows what has been done to it. it knows that it is dying! it knows that there is little left! cadmus. it is gone. it is dying. no. maybe never dying. but maybe that’s all life is. it cries because it knows that to live is at every moment to die. the rain comes down, but that’s all the sky. that’s all the sky, dear cadmus. the forest cries in littler ways. when the trees shake and quiver. when we die. when we all die. everything. until there aren’t trees to shake. until the grass is just humus. until the rocks are what shake. until the earth threatens to break apart. as it knows it is dead. it. cannot. stand. to. live. like. this. and so, with its surface corrupted to no return, the molten earth crawls out of itself, and screams.
JESUS. BESTIE. what the FUCK. i had to sit on this for like a week to surpass the dread. what the hell did i do wrong D:
Highly recommend bringing Anders as the sole mage with you when recruiting Fenris at least once, because MAN the dialogue he has in that situation lives in my mind rent free
