Hiii lovely! I'm so sorry for going MIA!

I've had the most insane couple of weeks, with my son starting school, me going to about 1000 job interviews and trying to find adequate housing for us. And as if that wasn't enough, my laptop decided to give up on me, and I had to wait for it to be fixed!

Buuuuuut I'm back! Just editing the new chapter now!

I was going through your Azriel tag and a while ago it said you were working on an Azriel story, is this true?👀

Yesss! I've got most of it written already, but I need to get the final book in my 'A Court of Ash and Smoke' trilogy out first, and then my Azriel fic will be making an appearance 💜

Oh wow, I’m late to the party and just read your newest two chapters. You are killing us and I love it!!!! Just man, the last chapter was completely brutal and I am loving it so much!!! I live for the angst as well and I can’t wait to see what happens in these final few chapters of these books.

Something that I always felt was the hallmark of a good writer is when situation arises, such as finding out reader will die, and you are able to populate theories to how it will all play out and if it can be solved. I feel like that shows that the writer really has an understanding of the universe they’ve created and an understanding of the characters as well. I also feel that it is important to mention that the acceptance the reader shows to her fate is expected and not out of character for her. You’ve done such a great job crafting this character that the idea of her doing anything but accepting this fate would have been absurd. We’ve already seen how she would do anything for Lucien and how Lucien is the one thing she will risk it all for. Just excellent job!!!

I've definitely spent an insane amount of time planning for this story! I wanted to make sure I did the characters and the world that Sarah J Maas created justice, as well as making sure I gave it my own spin and made it feel like I wasn't just retelling the same story, but making it my own interpretation. There were full plot breakdowns, character arc plans, character profiles, and a lot more that went into this story long before I actually got around to writing, so I'm so glad all of that hard work is translating and coming across in the fic itself!

In terms of Reader and the prophecy, it's definitely something she's accepted. It's going to be a tough pill to swallow, and she is going to struggle with it, as anyone would finding out that they're destined to die, but she definitely loves Lucien too much to NOT resign herself to that fate if it meant protecting him and ensuring his future!

Thank you again for your such kind words! It's honestly still incredible to me that people are even still reading, let alone theorising and taking the time to discuss the chapters with me ❣️

I actually did a poll a while back when I first started writing ACOFAF about whether or not to include a Lucien X Reader X Silas threesome smut! The poll came out with 'yes' as the answer, but it was so close that I decided not to include it.

I do have it written out fully though! Maybe I'll include it as a bonus deleted scene or something?

Wow that most recent chapter just really got me. Especially, the last interactions with Lucien I couldn’t read it fast enough. I am so excited for how you continue to progress this story. I look forward to each update you put out. I think my biggest struggle with your story is that if you were posting it on AO3, I would want to kudos it a million times

23. Do you believe in aliens?

I 100% believe that aliens exist out there! I think it would be very unlikely for us to be the only life in the entire universe, especially when there are so many different species even just on our own planet!

29. Does it take you a long time to make decisions?

I'm honestly so indecisive - I'm so bad at making decisions it's actually laughable. Sometimes I just let other people make decisions for me so that I don't have to worry about them.

30. What are you looking forward to in the near future?

It might seem like such a small thing, but I'm meeting some of my friends for coffee in a couple of days, and I've not seen them in person for years, and I'm so excited to see them!

31. What are you looking forward to in the distant future?

Lots of things! I'm moving into my own place back in the UK at some point before the end of the year, so I'm really looking forward to that! And my best friend is marrying the love of her life next year, and I get to be a bridesmaid, something that I really can't wait for!

32. If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go?

Probably back to Cambodia to visit my friends and the little found-family I made over the 6 years I was living there. I've only been back in the UK for 3 weeks, and honestly it's so strange not seeing those people everyday like I did for so many years!

omg yey! This is my first one of these - I'm so excited!

2. Do you drink tea or coffee? How do you take it?

I drink both! I have coffee every morning, usually around 2 or 3 cups, and I take it very strong and black! Around lunch time I'll swap to tea and keep that going for most of the afternoon, which I take with 1 sugar and milk.

8. What’s your favorite band/artist?

Ohhh, that's a tough one! I'm a big MCR fan, and a big Taylor Swift fan, but I'd have to say my favourite band is The Pretty Reckless! I'm also a massive fan of a Cambodian rapper called VANNDA - so much that I have his lyrics tattooed on my arm!

10. How tall are you?

I'm 5ft 8inchs, so pretty tall!

16. Want any tattoos? What of? 

I've already got about 100 tattoos, but it's never enough! I'd quite like something on my spine, but I'm not sure what, and I've got some scars on my ankle that I want to cover over with something too, maybe something relating to the moon and moon cycles, but I'm not too sure yet! I quite like walking into the tattoo studio and just asking the artist to draw something up for me!

Oh my gosh, I totally agree with the other anon. Ianthe totally took the spell book. Like without a doubt, she is going to cause so many problems. Excellent chapter once again, you always leave us wanting more!!!

Ianthe is DEFINITELY going to cause some problems for everyone, not just Reader and Lucien! She's hands-down my least favourite character in the whole original series!

I absolutely love your newest chapter!! Don’t get me wrong, I’m still super annoyed with Rhysand and his ‘ends justify the means’ actions with reader but I’m so excited to see how that friendship progresses still. I loved the reunion between Lucien and reader. I cannot wait to read any interaction between reader and Tamlin, I just can’t wait to see how that goes. Actually, I’m just curious about any interaction reader has with those she knew in the Spring Court! Just excellent job once again!!!

Thank you so much my love! We'll get to see some more interaction between Reader and Tamlin in the next chapter, which I'm literally posting right now! I'm just glad Lucien and Reader are finally back together - I hated writing them apart!!

Oh man, I read that chapter so quick!! I really loved it!! I was truly thinking towards the end that maybe we’d get just one loving, pure moment between them, only to have it end like how reader was whisked away- suddenly. I am excited to continue seeing how the story progresses, I feel like I don’t even know what to expect next. I may have read the ACOTAR series multiple times, but I have no idea what your next move is and that makes every update worth the wait (even though I only had to wait like a day).

I can't even explain to you how much this made me smile! Thank you so much!

It's always a bit difficult when you're following along with an already well-known story to find a way to make it different and keep it interesting, so I'm really glad I'm keeping you on your toes!!

I'm trying to update every 2 days, but I am moving across the world in less than 2 weeks (wish me luck) so unfortunately updates will be a bit janky around that time - but I'll do my best! Hopefully with a 23 hour flight ahead of me I can get plenty of future chapters written that can just be uploaded as I go along!
