May Your Best Prayers Come True: The 1st picture in the 2nd image was drawn by me 10 years ago when I made this Purple Striped Dolphin DreamKeeper Avatar for Grandma Honey for fun back, yeah I’ll admit the I drew those proportions in the dark blue background didn’t age well, but that’s mostly because I was in my 20's back then, and I had a lot to learn about getting proportions and angles right, yeah the Black Inked handwriting in the dark blue background is fairly visible and I know now in hindsight I should’ve thought choices in Color Tones and Handwriting through back then, and I know I didn’t exactly get this much better at my diversely eclectic art style until my mid 20's, so the 2nd picture in the 1st I did this year in just a blank white background 10 years later today (as of 3-14-2024 as I finished making this one for my Maternal Grandma: Helen "Honey" Stockwell, yesterday of course), and the red wheelchair she has in that 10 year remade illustration is real since my family and I have been peddling her everywhere in that chair btw, but the point is… My Grandma has been staying at the hospital for 10 days now since Monday March 4th 2024 this year (as of 3-14-2024 of writing this post’s description), and the rest of my extended family tree relatives, my family, and myself included have been taking turns visiting her or gathering together while mom’s been staying at the hospital watching over her, and… I’ll just say that a lot has been happening to her and I hope she gets well soon… I let you folks know one of these days until my EFT and my Family and I have got news from my grandma’s doctors and nurses how she’s doing, but I hope you folks like what I’ve made here of course.

Throwback a year before I had tumblr around Feb-March 2021 as my senior year where I used to doodle them in class during free time I remember I used to bring my sketchbook and alcohol markers. Crazy thing that where my old classmates loved my art and used to beg me to draw them 😂 anyways non Kirby fanart but Y2K cartoon that grew up as my childhood expect three of them as 2010s as my teenage year. I used to be a fan of Dreamkeepers, RWBY, Steven universe cuz of my classmate plus I was a weeb as an anime fan back then as a phase. k/da and atla is like an inspiration and a quirky one :3

Centuries’ Devotion

      So, on the subject of MY favorite media in terms of good and accurate native representation to that of indigenous culture? ( yes, thank you @listered​ , one of my favorite writers ever. ) Well I could start this off as one thing, that remember a native actor or actress likely will never be in a role that they think is truly offensive, or isn’t concerned with a subject that needs attention. I mention this because a few of my favorite comedies, people call problematic despite the fact that the native side had like a 98% native casting ot it? So with that said, this is what I appreciate in terms of the stipulation checklist of a good media representation of culture.

First of and foremost, if the movie or tv series does not take place with a direct focus on the culture and instead features a native character. Ensure that the mindset of the surrounding characters and setting reflect that of the times. If the group likes or has an indifference toward natives, remember the rest of society hates us. So we would be meeting opposition outside, especially in non-native oriented locations.

And the above includes name calling, or nicknames that are normalized surrounding the names. (like for an example an asshole character might be best friends with a native character but would every now and again call him ‘red’ in the heat of battle or some sort of event.). Like I said, especially in wild west this was normal, Or even a less intentional demeaning thing would be ‘chief,’ or a shortened variation of their name. (For example, Wanahton - would be Wan, or Nahton.)

How much of the above is not erased.

How brutally honest the movies are in showing the struggles.

How many details and small things show me that the people who have directed the movie show that they did their research. Because at the end of the day, the research is done, and we know it, and that is all we ask for. Because there are so many different cultures within our nation, the small details matter.

    There’s likely more, but I can’t think of more right now, these are the immediate examples. But! Remember !! So long as native actors or actresses are playing the native parts, then it’s for the most part likely okay? (Unless it’s a special case like Johnny Depp who did everything right and was accepted and adopted by the nation.)

Plot:

Basically a series of random events connected by a large band of evulsoing hunters who want every monster DEAD.

Your avatar is a young person who finds a monstie rodeo, and after choosing a monster, you immediently tame on in the bronco busting segment of the rodeo.

There is no main villain persay, is just a massive hoard of evil hunters and their generals.

Final boss is likely just the last evil hunter general you didn’t take care of.

Somewhere along the way, after fighting a rajang or some other monster in the mountains about to feast ina. Whole nest of Kirin eggs, the player stops them, and the adult walks in, and is thankful enough to take away one egg, which turns into Sleip, the “ratha” of the game. He has. A personality similar to dreambert of dream team, regal, but still willing to do some silly shindigs.

Also along the way, your character enters a mountainous ruins area astride Sleip, and discover a legend of a knight and a Kirin steed of his who saved s beautiful princess, and the player is the decendant of that knight, and Sleip is the decendant of that knights Kirin steed.

The game also takes place ina. Pseudo modern day sci-fi and monster hunter norm kinda world.

I thought about a lot of this stuff with @darkrai-the-dreamkeeper so yeah.

BAR’s PS5 Screenshots 3-16-2024: Here are my 10 new Screenshots from Street Fighter 6 I actually forgot to post on some of my social media platforms almost a week ago now, due to working an Oddworld + Steven Universe Fan Art illustration of Lapis Lazuli and Abe, and working on my 10 yr milestone remake illustration of my Grandma getting peddled around in her red wheelchair by a Dolphin DreamKeeper Avatar I created for her back in 2014 as I remade it this year (as of 3-16-2024 of writing this post’s description of course), and visiting my grandma to make sure she’s doing well, I just lost track of the time, but on the bright side, I got back to playing Street Fighter 6 on my PS5 since I might as well try to finish playing through my Street Fighter Avatar’s world tour storyline, my SF6 Avatar used to go by the full name of Brisk Tintor, but after seeing the in game-mobile text msgs on how my avatar was being addressed by his full name like it was a first name basis, I went to the in game settings, removed the surname: Tintor, so now my SF6 Avatar is plainly addressed as just: Brisk nowadays in my SF6 World Tour PlayThrough of course, any this is what my SF6 Avatar’s full body appearance looks like in my Real Life Likeness with just my face, stomach, height, and skin tone etc, but with some exaggerated mashup design choices of Frank Miller, Rob Liefeld, and the Elven People of my longtime favorite Cult Video Game Series: Jak & Daxter, just for fun. I’m aware that there are some people who have a lot of mixed feelings about the Street Fighter character customization features being weird, but to me: that’s no surprise because longtime street fighter fans should know as well as I do that most of the character design styles for Street Fighter Characters have always had this marvelous mix of Frank Miller, Rob Liefeld, Kevin Eastman, Mark Bagley, and Antarctic Press AmeriManga imho, so I hope you folks like these screenshots of my SF6 Avatar: Brisk, as I’m proud of how I designed him for fun anyway of course.

BAR’s PS5 Screenshots 6-28-2023: These are two out of three PS5 games I got on my birthday as my B-day presents as well as some belated B-day presents that I had to buy with my own B-day money and B-day gift card too a couple of weeks later of course, I’ve already beaten Forspoken on my PS5 at the end of my Birth Month a month ago now of course, my Biomutant Avatar is a Rex Breed I customized with Blue and Yellow fur as I’m already having so much fun with this avatar I had so much fun making already since I am after all a longtime Furry Fan… in a general sense despite having a DreamKeeper Fursona that I’ve been using as my avatar on most social media platforms since Google had then announced Google+’s discontinuation of course, but until I find, collect, and buy the best clothes and weapons to reflect my Biomutant Avatar Identity, then I will take some pictures of my favorite clothes and weapons to use as inspiration to draw my Biomutant Avatar in one of my sketchbooks wearing the clothes and weapons that appeal to my liking one of these days, but right now I am playing through Star Wars Jedi 2 a.k.a SWJ: Survivor for both it’s story and gameplay style for fun and intrigue altogether first before I get back to playing through my Biomutant good story path as I have my moral standards that I value dearly of course, my favorite SWJ: Survivor screenshot I took was when I had the Jedi Survivor: Cal Kestis pin down and stab that stormtrooper down to the ground while also making that 10th in game pic/5th SWJ: Survivor look like a badass back cover screenshot, I tell ya' folks what, and I hope you folks like my best PS5 pics anyway of course.

Husky Lemur 3.0 + my mom & aunt’s birthday sketch portraits: the two small pictures on top of my big picture in this 3 in 1 tumblr post are my Aunt: Andrea "Rea" Caster, and my mom: Sally Roten, as huntresses like the titular huntress quartet known as Team RWBY, my Aunt in the purple tailored Ruby Rose clothes has purple nunchuck-shotguns like how the Monkey Faunus: Sun Wukong does, and my Mom in the green tailored Yang Xiao Long clothes has twin melee-ranged hybrid round shields that can both turn into arm blades as well as into crossbows too, and the big picture below my mom & aunt’s huntress portraits my 3.0 design improvement on my DreamKeeper Fursona/Avatar: Husky Lemur, only he now has hind legs again but with a new inspiration twist being that ol' Husk now has that Mudokon/Abe’s bipedal hind legs hybrid design from the Oddworld games these days, and my fursona now has those bipedal prehensile hybrid feet inspired by the early mirage & rise Ninja Turtles’ feet these days too, I’ve also given Husky Lemur that Gold Amp DLC weapon from Infamous 2 (which I used to play, back in my PS3 days of course), as his personal weapon since its my favorite DLC weapon from Infamous 2 I tell ya' folks what, drawing Husky Lemur with Mace the Cat-Raccoon style hind legs were really hard to draw how ol' Husk would run, walk, sit, and rest etc, back in 2014 to 2017 of course, so I made my fursona’s 2.0 design with just regular bipedal legs and a lemur tail to make him exactly like he’s part lemur & part husky since 2018, until 5 years later in 2023, Husky now has a 3.0 improved redesign, and I hope you folks like this new design change as well my mom & aunt’s huntress portraits too of course.

Lucid Heroes of Woo: Finn’s DreamKeeper is a fire Grizzly Bear named Frizz Pentens, and Fionna’s DreamKeeper is an ice Jackalope named Frozz Pentens, her DreamKeeper’s first name: Frozz is pronounced (frôzz) which like pronouncing the word: fraud but with two Z-letters replacing the D-letter, about a long time ago, I created Main Finn and FarmWorld Finn’s Dreamkeepers as a fire wolf and an ice lion back in the mid 2010’s, but I recreated main finn’s Dreamkeeper into a fire grizzly bear while I remade FarmWorld Finn’s ice lion DreamKeeper into Fionna’s ice Jackalope DreamKeeper instead. Sonic Styled Dororo & Hyakkimaru + Penciled Halos: This is my SFW penciled sketch of my Sonic Stylized interpretation of the 1969 classic anime iterations of Dororo and Hyakkimaru as Sonic characters in that style I drew for fun, since Dororo’s adoptive big brother is a Tanuki while Dororo is a Fox, and I drew the Penciled halos on the 2019 iteration’s DK avatars that have been missing those penciled in halos on their heads for years now. Heroes of the Dream Multiverse: These are the Seven Dream Heroes from those 7 Dream Worlds that I’ve been familiar with for over a longtime now, the 1st picture was scanned on the sketchbook app on my iPhone so I could fix the skin tones on two human dream heroes, and the 2nd picture in this post was when I accidentally gave two Human Dream Heroes the wrong skin colors before I used the sketchbook app to scan and fix them. Btw the 1st human dream hero who I once accidentally gave Simpsons style-Yellow skin to was Little Nemo from a mid 1900’s coming of age comic strip saga known Little Nemo in Slumberland which lasted from 1905 to 1927, the 2nd human dream hero who I once accidentally gave Starfire style-Tamaranean orange skin was Alexander Carter (or Alex for short) from a CG rendered Webcomic called the Dreamland Chronicles which lasted from 2006 to 2017 until it got an ongoing 2D revival two years later on 2019 in the form of a Hand drawn remaster that’s still going on today, the 3rd dream hero with cream white fur and brown stripes is Mace the Fox Cat hybrid from an Indie Furry Graphic Novel series and sometimes webcomic called DreamKeepers, the 4th dream hero with the floppy long ears carrying Mace is Klonoa the Rabbit eared Cat hybrid Dream Traveler from a Video Game series with his name on it, the 5th dream hero is Rayman the limbless wonder, the 6th dream hero that’s ice blue and puffball like is Impy the Dream Imp from the Dreams PlayStation series that currently still has one PS4 exclusive title and no official PS5 remaster title yet anyway, and the 7th dream hero with brown skin is SackBoy the series mascot of the Little Big Planet PlayStation series where LBP gamers used to make their own Sack Person avatars back in those days, those about 7 dream heroes from 7 Dream Worlds I know these days, and I hope you folks like this crossover fan art drawing I’ve made today. #scannedart #fanart #autodesksketchbook #littlenemo #thedreamlandchronicles #dreamkeepers #klonoa #rayman #dreamsps4 #littlebigplanet #editfixes #ecf #ecfartcenters (at Inglewood, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChdhYjLpX8R/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Anthropomorphic Appa: This is my digital sketch that I made for a… longtime family friend… okay I’ll be really honest with folks. This sketch was a request for my sister’s Second Ex that she used to date back in the mid 2010’s during my old ECF in Culver City years. I also used to draw my sister and her second ex as their own DreamKeeper Fursona/Avatars which were Anthropomorphic Lemurs with Multicolored Halos. I looked around my Tumblr and Instagram profiles’s archives to see if I ever posted this sketch onto Instagram and shared it on tumblr only to realize, I have not done and that I forgot to do so eventually. Well anyway I made this Appa sketch about 22 days ago as of 6-13-2020, I’m sorry for letting my absent minded carefree habits get the best of me again. Dororo & Hyakkimaru’s DK Avatar’s Penciled Halos: Three years ago, I drew Digitally Drawn Halos floating on the head of the 2019 iteration’s DreamKeeper Avatars, but also because I previously forgot to draw the Penciled Halos on top of the 2019 iterations of Dororo and Hyakkimaru back then, but this time I’ve found my lost ECF exclusive SFW sketchbook that I’ve not seen COVID-19 happen two years ago as the pandemic is still going on as of 6-21-2022 of this Tumblr Post in this time of year, and I finally made the time to draw in the missing Penciled Halos I should’ve penciled on the pencil sketch of 2019-Dororo and Hyakkimaru’s DreamKeepers earlier three years ago. But of course, I’ve also got two more new drawings that I want to simul-post on Instagram and Tumblr just to keep my followers, friends, and family who use one of or both these two Social Media platforms in touch with me as I’m still keeping in touch and my followers, friends, and family today.
