Hey anon, I’m like. SUPER fond of this crossover ok?? I actually drew it a little already! It’s actually BECAUSE of a Mob Psychonauts crossover that I discovered Psychonauts! If I never reblogged that art way back when, and if Xi didn’t explain it more to me, I would have probably never played this wonderful game! ;v; 

That crossover was a “what if Psychonauts came to Mob’s world”, which I do love, but I wanted to try it in the opposite direction here :’D I tried real hard not to draw stuff for it coz HECK I HAVE ALOT OF AUS BUT here are some short dumb comics and my attempt at Black Velvetopia! Raz and Mob ;7;

I HAVE IDEAS. HERE ARE SOME. 

Mob was sent to Whispering Rock Summer Camp soon after the...incident with Ritsu, and he was all for it if there were a chance he could learn to control his powers. Teru’s there too, but I think his story involved with Mob would be about...the same, lol. Ritsu would probably go to camp someday too (just not during the brain stealing year), and maybe Shou pops in from time to time? I’m laughing at the idea of Reigen being a fake Psychonaut agent, but I bet he could pull it off somehow?? I also like the idea of him taking Mob as his protege even in this AU :> and Oleander being really freaking confused when they end up stealing a brain that, while it is a fighter, has absolutely no psychic powers LOL

So I think Mob’s kinda younger here so his height compared to Raz isn’t so ridiculous haha I think Mob would become fast friends with Raz, since Mob’s one of the few campers that doesn’t ignore/brush off/bully him. The kid seems kinda lonely to me. Friends are good. Mob also avoids getting his brain stolen during plot happenings because he’s like. So dang spaced out it already looks like it’s been taken X’D And finally a camper willing to help Raz save the world! So they team up! 

Mob’s kinda...hopeless with the more acrobatic platforming, hahaha, but he IS freaking strong psychically, which can come in handy. I feel like Raz would have to help with the more difficult stuff until Mob finally figures out Telekinesis and maybe levitation (he might be a rare case where he’s better at it without the ball, like Sasha) and then he can keep up with no problem :) Mob is also either pretty good at psi blasts because they’re a more regular outlet for negative emotion, or TERRIBLE because he keeps all that emotion so bottled up. D: He does really admire Raz for being able to move about such difficult obstacle courses as if it’s easy as breathing, without powers for the most part. And Raz probably wonders how Mob isn’t a Psychonaut at his power level, but he might stop wondering if he somehow witnesses a ???% outburst. 

So umm, Psychonauts canon is pretty much the same in the end, the MP100 characters fit in pretty easily. I just liked the idea of Raz not having to try and save the world all by himself, y’know?  I love my babies being friends~
