FIVE DAYS ft park jongseong

happy (almost) birthjay <33 + smut + 1277 words

Something about the clock striking from 23:59 on March 31st to 00:00 on April 1st had flicked a switch in Jay. Of course he sometimes tends towards being excited and giddy for no apparent reason but April apparently sees it fit to give him one. A birthday on the month’s 20th day, reason enough for Jay to spend almost 3 whole weeks anticipating it. 

Seeing as it’s already April 15th, the switch has long since been flipped. 

It's possible that Jay’s excitement may also be amplified as this will be their first time celebrating Jay’s birthday as a couple. Or, well, more accurately, celebrating his birthday together in any capacity. 

YN’s stares, enviously, at Jay’s ass in his underwear as he stands up from the couch to go into the kitchen. Hair slightly ruffled from her fingers running through it, moving a little as he bobs his head from side to side. He leans on the counter, waiting for the kettle to boil.

When he finally returns, he gently sets down 2 (full to the brim) cups of tea on the table, lifting the blanket from over her to wrap it around his shoulders to lay down on top of her. His weight is comforting, warm, as he lets himself cuddle into her a bit. 

Fixes the blanket to cover them both properly, letting out a satisfied hum from the feeling of the heater on his feet. The black TV screen stares at them, reflecting their position like a framed photo of domesticity - but despite holding the remote in his hand, he doesn’t hit play.

Choosing instead to fix his attention on her. Observing her as she looks back down at him.

Her own eyes are half shut. Tired - quite clearly. 

"My birthday is coming up." He says finally.

"I just want you to be happy, to have a good day." 

“No.” He shakes his head. "No. Something tangible."

"Okay." She thinks for a moment. "How about a kiss?"

"But you can always have a kiss." 

"And you can always have me." She pinches his side gently. You already have me, voice a whisper when she says it, hating the smile that comes with it.

He rolls his eyes. Cranes his neck up. Presses a kiss to her lips - though it’s a bit of an awkward angle for him. He loves the feeling of her nail tracing shapes on his back. Are you saying I could have you now if I wanted? Jay mumbles against her lips. 

“Mhm.” A nod. “If that’s what you want.” 

He wastes no time in letting a hand slip into her underwear, smiling at the way YN immediately lets her leg fall from the couch, spreading herself for him. Unable to resist, he presses his lips to hers, letting out a groan at the feeling of how wet she is.

smth about buff student librarian changbin wearing sweaters that can barely fit around his muscles is so yummy to me 😻 I really had a lot of fun writing this fic! it was for my spring fling collab which I had a lot of fun hosting and I’m v happy with how this fic turned out! there are some fics that you really have to grind out and squeeze your brain to finish and then there are some fics that just flow really easily which was this one 😸 also icky frat boy jisung was very fun to write

I have a vivid memory of writing this fic at uni while a literal snowstorm was happening outside and I was sat behind my laptop writing shit like “it’s so fucking hot let’s go to the beach” 😻 LMAO besides that this fic was also a breeze to write and im happy with it! SO MUCH FUN TO WRITE!!!!! I wanna say this fic literally only took me like an hour or two to write (it usually takes me days to finish up a fic and be proud of it even if it’s short 😵‍💫) and it was so fun lol. I loved writing it in heeseung’s pov and describing like the inner turmoil he was facing for being a pervy roommate lol.
