I’m glad we are (finally) calling out biphobia in music, can we please talk about how Kehlani and Hayley Kiyoko completely fucking shit on Girls by Rita Ora, Cardi B, Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha…… for the crime of being about bisexual women having fun and having sex with men and women????? Like. That was a thing that happened, a song written and proformed by majority queer women was called out for, reflecting their personal experiences with queerness and sapphic lust….. RITA ORA, CARDI B, AND BEBE REXHA HAD TO APOLOGIZE!!!!! For a song about their lives!!!!!!!!!

This happened in 2018 and I am still SO angry because I was 14 and I had JUST become secure in my identity as bi, and some of my favourite artists collaborated and made a song about being bisexual… AND THEN “lesbian Jesus” Hayley Kiyoko fucking tweeted about how it was “fueled the male gaze while marginalizing the idea of women loving women.” and for YEARS and years and years, I had to just watch as fucking every fucking lesbian on the planet lusted after her (nad her MEDIOCRE music) and I remember, I fucking remember what she did!!!!!!

Like fuck. I hate that, I was talked over by lesbians on the internet about how biohobic their reaction to the song was for YEARS, and now when we finally talk about biphobia in music it’s because of boyfriends at Chappell Roan concerts???? Like, really??? That was what made you look in the mirror and realize that you were being cunts?????????
