It it time for a story I have been working on for a long time...

FADE TO THE STARS~

Mark shot up after waking from a nightmare, feeling tired and disoriented. After he calmed down he looked around his messy room he shared with his partner, Theodore. It was bright outside, meaning he slept through his alarms. He huffed before moving his feet to the cold floor.

Then, he looked down and saw a pile of black goop on the floor before the thing started moving onto his leg, causing him to scream then fear freeze. The goop went up his leg and he watched as it carefully scaled his body.

After a few minutes, the thing was on half of his face. But something felt different about himself. There was a second deeper voice saying things.

"Mark Eleanor Robert..." the voice spoke, leading Mark to shriek once more. "W-what?...who are you?..." Mark asked out loud, as if the voice was in his room.

Then, a new perspective appeared to him, one that was in his head. There, he saw a dark grey humanoid figure. This figure had bangs that covered their eyes. On the other hand, Mark was all purple but maintained most of his appearance.

"I am-" they'd then make an unpronounceable sound, "but maybe I can-". "Excuse me???" Mark would interrupt. "First off, who are you? Second off, what are you doing in my head!?" Mark would ramble out in a confused manner.

"What? Did you not hear me?" the being answered. "Yeah, I can't say it even... at least tell me what you're doing-" he'd pause, hearing something distant in that same space "wait..your lost?.." Mark questioned. "It's...complicated.." the being said, rubbing the back of their head but the slime on Mark's face too.

"Wait...you're that slime on me?!?" He'd exclaim in confusion. "Yes, again, long story-"

Just then, most of his roommates and partner would burst in. "Mark, the hell are you screaming about??" Eduardo said, frustrated by the abrupt sound it caused. He stared at him before tensing up at the goop on his face. "Mark, what are you doing?.." questioned Joan, seeing the slime too. From this moment Mark realized it would be a long day…

Sid: Uhhhhh, I don't... think so? Waitwaitwait. Those names do sound familiar...

Sid: Yeah! I think I've heard RL mumbling their names sometimes.

E.V.: Maybe it was the name of some soldiers?

Sid: Maybe I don't think I've seen him hang around any soldiers with those names though. RL doesn't really fraternize with his men that much. Except, you know, to boss them around.

Sid: Except for Pau and Pat, of course! 

Sid: In any case, maybe I’ll get to meet them someday. They sound really cool.

Sid: As for the neighbors... good question! Might depend on what you mean by Neighbors. At this point, I sometimes wonder if there's even a world outside of this place.

Sid: Of course, in a way, I guess I could say that everybody here is my neighbor.

Sid:  I wonder if everybody's neighbors hate them as much as mine do?

Eddsworld Headcanons: What do they smell like?

Of course, these smells apply to the "base canon", alternate forms and some AU versions likely have their own smells.

Edd and Tord both smell like bacon, but Tord's a bit more smokey than Edd's. Tord's got a mix between bacon smell and cigar smoke smell.

I'd say Tom smells of alcohol, but alcohol doesn't have a body smell, only a breath smell. Ironically Tom smells pretty good, a mix between ocean smell, blackberries, and blueberries.

Due to the messiness of Matt's room and him being rather messy in general, Matt doesn't always smell the best, like sweaty clothes on the floor. He usually masks the scent with colonge and/or scented fabric stuff, usually with grape or lavender smells, it changes every so often.

Eduardo smells like Avocados (ripe ones are described as having a "pleasant, sweet aroma") but also a bit of smokiness/woodiness behind it.

Jon smells like Petrichor, the smell you smell after a rainstorm. In cases where he is dead. The scent gets stronger wherever he is as a ghost. Basically, if it suddenly smells like after a rainstorm on a very sunny day, Jon’s ghost is nearby.).

Mark smells like earl grey tea and old books.

I haven't posted Ramona(the neighbor version of Riv) a lot but here's a fun fact about the two + some art!

They're actually exes!

The two dated in high school, but broke up shortly before Riv moved to England at 18

Ramona has been trying to reconcile with them ever since she moved next door and in with the other neighbors, but Riv refuses to acknowledge the two even knew each other before she moved, so the guys don't know about their past

I made my own neighbor version of Tord cus I wanted to jump on the bandwagon✨️

He's been an idea of mine for a WHILE

His name is Troy and not "Todd" like how most of the fandom automatically goes for cus like. The other neighbors aren't as on the nose like that lmao. They didn't just name Jon "Tim"🧍‍♂️also, yea Troys a goofy ahh name but my moots liked it so it stuck-

Talkative (loud mouth)

Confident demeanor

Collects knives (also swords--he has a lot of authentic melee/midieval weaponry) (collects basically anything but guns)

He LOVES X-Men and Kill Bill (in general is a huge comic nerd and LOVES superhero action shiznart) (X-Men and Kill Bill are just like what I see as his top favs)

Would probably be a good dad

Good at carpentry (good with woodwork in general, like he can carve too)

Jon chuckled."aren't you supposed to be at Edd's house?" Tom sighed."yyyyeeessss, but I just wanted to check up on you!" Jon smiles."you're so happy today." Tom chuckled."I might've taken a swig from the whiskey in your fridge." Jon just rolled his eyes playfully."you big lug, you want breakfast?" Tom nodded happily."alright, what'll it be?" Jon asked as he walked into the kitchen."ooh! Lemon loaf!" Tom piped up."good choice!" Jon said, starting to bake."your lemon loaf is always amazing!" Tom said, helping his older brother. Charlie, Tom's boyfriendburst through the ceiling."uhhh, baby?" Tom poked charlie with a stick."agghh, yeah I'm up." Charlie groaned and sat up."aww, poor thiiing."
