Bowser really wants the chance to tell Eggman about some of his own schemes and adventures because when they're together it's usually always Eggman rambling all about himself in his usual fashion and not letting him get a word in. He's surprised when the time comes where Eggman finally lets him and he tries to talk about it in what he thinks makes it sound coolest and most interesting.

Eggman just listens, not particularly looking the most enthusiastic and engaged. Every now and then mumbles things like "Hmm, really now?" "Wow, how did you plan on that working out?" "Would that really have worked anyway?" "I think you should've really seen that coming." of course being rude and judgemental is his thing and he will question his methods and have critiques as a fellow villain.

Finally Bowser is like "All you've been doing is judging me ugh, you're so much harder to impress than a girl! With them you just have to talk about how manly and strong and cool you are and they swoon!" and Eggman is a fucking cheeky bastard so he's just like "Oh really now, what girls have you ever successfully impressed?" And Bowser is like "HEY!" Way to add insult to injury Eggman, such a great friend you make lol

"Well, it's just the truth. Anyway, you should be happy that you've managed to at least entertain me and get the attention of a brilliant man like me at all in the first place~" Eggman takes the opportunity once again to brag about himself and Bowser just rolls his eyes and groans. Eggman says "Anyway, surely you've got more interesting stories about better plans than that, so go on." And so Bowser continues.

While Eggman doesn't seem as wooed as Bowser would like him to be- the truth is that while he listens, a quick little smirk cracks on his face now and then, that's partially obscured behind his hands that his chin is resting on. And he's kicking his feet a little while laying on his stomach on the bed. He is absolutely into him, he finds him funny and likes his ambition for his schemes just like he has for his 💜

It's just that Bowser doesn't catch the former because it's so quick and he doesn't pick up on what the latter means to see it. He's hardly experienced with people expressing outward attraction towards him, so he's also not as knowledgeable on the more subtle hints people can show as he'd like to believe and pretend he is. It especially doesn't help that Eggman plays hard to get and likes to tease.

But the thing is, Eggman doesn't show it in his words or even so much his expressions when it comes to experiencing any amount of attraction, it's in his subtle body language like that. But he also just likes the fire in him too, so he likes to keep poking the bear with a stick and being cheeky because he thinks it's cute and entertaining to get him worked up and would just find it hot if he snapped lol
