You know, and another ask. How does everyone else react to the bad end?

Short answer:

Basil is stuck in silent grief, Aubrey has angry grief, and it's all so unfair, Mari is first depressed and then cold, Hero tries to be as little baggage as possible and Kel really isn't doing well, after he was struck by the fear of loosing an ability to walk and never do what he loves again, he is now struck again but just by sheer fear of death.

There will be no long answer for some time because I will try to focus now on the way to the good ending!

You know, as much as I want to beat Sunny's Father with a chair myself, I almost want to see Mari tearing into the son of a bitch after that Bad End comic you posted. Maybe not physically but i'm sure she has some very good choice words for him.

I think she would have many words to say. But it isn't worth the effort to give them to him, there are only a few that need to be said:

"You ruined our family" & " You ruined his life" He loved throw that word around, didn't he

Depressing elbneif au thought: Sunny eventually concludes he's not needed to help Mari and thus not worth keeping around, runs away into the forest, leaving everything to his sister. Such a sad, childish thing to do...

but as everyone's arguing at the house over what to do and whose fault it is and where he could have gone, Mari is the first person to note there's a steak knife missing from the kitchen.

Days later, a small body is found lying under a tree deep in the forest.

I took this idea and put my spin on it.

This is the promised thing from a previous post about the Bad End of Elbneif - I won't pursue it on my own, but if people give me great ideas, I love to elaborate on them

(in the elbneif AU) Is there anything their father could do or say, like without getting into the bad end scenario, that would make Mari snap at him?

Yeah, there is - but what I have planned, it might not be as carthartic as you peeps wish it to be ´v` Still figuring it out.

Hehe, nope.

I am a sucker for good endings. But I don't mind if others do!

I started this AU idea since I saw other living-Maris AUs, loved them but thought that if Mari was hurt, not fatal but with lasting damages, Sunny would be still traumatised (in this case mostly by his surroundings) and needs to work it through (but now with assistance of his living sister! yay). This AU's name is 'elbneif', which is the acronym for 'everyone lives, but not everyone is fine'. As stupid as the name is, my goal is that (almost) everyone is fine in the end, but you can make your own headcanons! And if you do, please @ me or send them to me <3

An Anon sent me a scary and sad headcanon, that I think is pretty cool! And I will a draw a lil comic about that, but I don't pick it up for my storyline (but maybe i'll pick ideas from it)
