Hi everyone and hope your week has got off to a great start! "Blegh. Maybe I don't miss everything about the toddler years. Let's get you a towel and some juice, honey. June? Do you have a shirt I can borrow?"

“I was nineteen! I wasn’t very clever. I should’ve just grabbed you and smooched you the day we met.”

“You could do that right now. I’ve always had my settings on ‘easy mode’.”

“Oh, lord, honey! I don’t even remember not bein’ in love with you Mom. I knew the minute I saw her.”

“Well, I remember. It was like I’d suddenly tasted my favorite food for the first time. And don’t you believe your Mama. I had to really work to get her to notice me instead of your uncle Harper.”

“Aw, darlin’! All that fuss was just me bein’ shy. And, well, my own Mama raised me to play hard-to-get. I don’t recommend it myself, Delphi! If you like someone, you ought pay the the respect of tellin’ them.”
