I usually refer to the HC of the fic writers on AO3 and tumblr, and all of them are awesome. But I'll see what HC I can come up with on the spot! This is more a draft than a family portrait.

Interesting family dynamic Morvran and Ciri will have. Fierce and headstrong wife married to an officer and a gentleman. All prim and proper in the presence of the nobility and the peasantry, but all of that goes out the window when it comes to the bedroom :)

Favorite pastime besides devastating the bedroom on a nightly basis? Horseback riding turned racing, maybe some sparring... and fishing! Morvran with a reel and rod, and Ciri using the witcher's effective method of fish catching- with bombs!

Children? I think they'd be satisfied to have just one to continue the royal line. One child is enough to keep her dads, and Yennefer, happy.

Holidays? Ciri hates pomp and finds them a waste of time and resources, but it is SOP that the heads of the empire must attend celebrations. So while Ciri grumbles under her breath at the tight dresses and that dreaded task called "mingling", Morvran is by her side to keep her calm and entertained, and to deal with the merchants and nobles. As for any significant holidays... she'd probably include holiday that commemorates Calanthe and Pavetta as a yearly dig at Emhyr.

And the penultimate question: Would Morvran cheat on Ciri?

Would he, knowing that the woman he married is a skilled swordsman with the ability to blink in and out of space and time, and has two doting dads who'd fillet him like a fish if he ever hurt her in any way?

the way da.emon and rha.enyra are portrayed is exactly the reason why i speak out quite loudly against pavetta x emhyr and try to advocate so loudly for victims of grooming. because their stories are either ignored, belittled or straight up romanticized. i think the only piece of media that takes grooming somewhat seriously rn is shadow & bone and people still go on to ship dar.klina

IT. HAPPENS. EVERY. DAY. girls and boys are groomed every single day. i personally know a victim of grooming, who was 16 when she got groomed by a man who at the time was 28 years old. she is 25 now and deals with the consequences of it to this day. and no, when she was 16-17, she did not see anything wrong with the relationship.

When morning came and once more I turned into the hedgehog, I told her of the curse, and what it would take to break it. She was crestfallen.”

“She confessed to me who she was, and I knew it then.” Emhyr looked at Geralt his eyes determined. “I knew she was my child of Destiny. We plotted over the winter, and she brought me into the palace and kept me hidden. You were called there to eradicate a moaning ghost that had been terrifying the castle. Unfortunately that was us.”

I'm sorry, but the truth is, that ship will always make people uncomfortable. She is barely out of her teenage years and he is at least 40, and the developmental and life experience difference is MASSIVE in that case. And nothing you say about them will change that fact. And it will CONTINUE to make people uncomfortable, no matter what you do, because social awareness has grown and now people KNOW that these relationship pose huge risks of being toxic and abusive. Is every relationship with an age gap toxic and abusive? No. But they have significantly higher risk of being abusive and toxic? Absolutely yes. Scientifically. Continue to ship it, if you want, but accept that you will not make people stop feeling uncomforable about it. (Not to mention Emhyr x Pavetta which goes from uncomfortable to illegal territory)

it's not about the fact you used publicly available mods. there are thousands of green dresses out there. there is several ready-to-go green dresses on nobleladies in bouclair. you used a dress i've been using for months. but, if you can prove that you found that dress independently and did not copy it from me, I will admit and apologise.
