Most underrated consonant: straight up /ɬ/. nobody is out there doing it like /ɬ/ is

Most underrated vowel: the close central darling /ɨ/

Most underrated greyboi: glottal tap (I can articulate this one I Swear)

Most underrated fish (cop out): australian freshwater eels

Most underrated fish (extinct): stethacanthus! nobody loves them the way myself and possibly five other palaeontologists do.

Okay this is an interesting one, cause I don't think that anyone on the server set out intentionally to portray queer identity, (with the possible exception of Aimsey). You just had a high proportion of queer creators who did things like use the same pronouns in-character as they do out of character, or who share an identity with their character, and then suddenly there's a bunch of wlw characters, or he/they characters, or bi/pan characters, or otherwise queer or trans characters, and then boom, the most popular SMP on twitch is pretty non-cis/straight. And I think that's totally important, both in the case of providing lgbtqia characters, and in the case of providing a gaming space where everyone is very openly cool with their friends using different pronouns, for example. When you are in the mcyt space can be easy to forget how homophobic/transphobic the gaming space used to be and still is in many segments of the internet, but that's honestly a huge improvement. I'm a huge fan.

And that isn't even getting into things like a canon depiction of polyamoury that gets popular enough to make it onto the top 100 Ao3 ships of the year, which I don't even think was planned in the moment, much less as "representation," which I've seen to be very important to people. The depiction of identity is imperfect, but I think it did a lot of really important things.

i've! been doin stuff, i swear.

workin on a new lip, but i can't quite decide if i like the original alpha or the more opaque one more. it's supposed to still show the skin's lip texture thru it but i dont know if i want a little more color/less opacity. thinking emogee

i got! all 6 of my blushes in game (at. 30 colors each. yikes). now i just have to sort em so they sit together right in bodyshop.

and my new eyes! i finished the natural colors (geneticized and all!) and did my new defaults. now i just have to make the unnaturals + some bonus stuff for them (different colored scleras? some new pupil shape? who knows)

andand not pictured is that i've switched the textures im using for my hair recolors to io's edit of pooklet's texture, mostly since im not really using maxis match-y skins anymore.
