wow the cherry magic anime is so shit. the frst episode is the wrst its actually difficult to sit through. the dialogye and the editing is so weird it feels like wtchng clips on tiktok in succession more thn a set of coherent scenes. it gets bttr (or maybe i was gttng less lucid and more acclimated to it while wtchng) but the frst few episodes are so weird. the anine chngd and lft out some scenes frm the manga which isnt necessarily a bad thng but yeah it def was in ths case. plus it took its sweet timw strtchng out the earlier chptrs and thn rshng the latter jst to barely get thw wedding scene in at the end. i mean ok its only 12 episodes and i gyess they rly wntd to animate the wedding which hppns 10000 volumes in i mean not rly their fault its swageverrr. yea it looks rly bad also. the animation looks cheap and the artstyle is unpleasant. its directly based on the manga which already dsnt look tht good (sorry) and it rlyyy dsnt translate well. i feel like they used up all the budget on the foreplay scene which. ok. fair enough. the sound editing is rly bad at the beginning and thn alr at the end. awkward silence every 3 secs annoying ass sound effects mediocre music. they got rid of the silence at least later on. some of the bckgrnd chrctrs feel kinda underused (only 2 scenes w kurosawas sister?) and some dnt get introduced at all which sucks but thn again. only 12 episodes. HOWEVER i thnk the characterization was awesome. its like all of thm got slightly more fucked up /pos. esp adachi in the anime hes sch a hater. hes like strght up disgusted by kurosawa and hates normie couples dating etc. he annoyed me a little me at frst cuz he kept leading kurosawa on but i chngd my mind p quick hes awesome hes an incel at heart ❤️❤️ . manga adachi and anime adachi are like the shy vs introvert img. i thnk the personaloty boost as lil as it was was a great choice 😺😺😸. 8/10 becaise i enjoyeid myself no one shld ever wtch ths jst rwad the manga instead
