The Benefits of Buying Wholesale Door Mats for Contractors ?
Tumblr media
In the competitive world of contracting, efficiency and cost-effectiveness are key to maintaining a successful business. One way to achieve these goals is by purchasing Wholesale Door Mats. For contractors in the United States, buying mats in bulk offers a range of benefits, from cost savings to customisation options. This blog will explore the various advantages of investing in Wholesale Floor Mats and how they can enhance your contracting projects.
Cost Savings
One of the most significant benefits of purchasing Wholesale Mats is the cost savings. When you buy mats in bulk, you take advantage of wholesale prices, which are significantly lower than retail prices. This can result in substantial savings, particularly for large projects that require a considerable number of mats. By reducing the cost per unit, you can allocate your budget more effectively, potentially allowing for higher profit margins or the ability to invest in other areas of your business.
Customisation Options
Many suppliers offer the option to customise your Floor Mats when you purchase them wholesale. This means you can create Custom Floor Mats that meet the specific needs of your clients. Customisation can include adding logos, specific colours, or unique designs that align with your client’s branding. Logo Floor Mats, for instance, are an excellent way to enhance the professional appearance of an entrance while also providing a functional purpose.
Variety of Choices
Buying Wholesale Door Mats gives you access to a wide range of options. From Entrance Floor Mats to Safety Floor Mats, the variety available ensures that you can find the perfect mats for any project. Whether you need durable mats for high-traffic areas, slip-resistant mats for safety, or aesthetically pleasing mats for an upscale look, wholesale suppliers offer a broad selection to meet your requirements.
Quality Assurance
Wholesale suppliers often have stringent quality control measures in place to ensure that their products meet high standards. When you buy Floor Mats wholesale, you can be confident that you are getting a product that is built to last. This is particularly important for contractors who need reliable and durable mats for their projects. High-quality mats not only perform better but also have a longer lifespan, reducing the need for frequent replacements and additional expenses.
Consistent Supply
For contractors working on multiple projects or large-scale developments, having a consistent supply of Warehouse Mats is crucial. Purchasing mats wholesale ensures that you have a steady supply of mats available whenever you need them. This can prevent delays in your projects and ensure that you can meet your deadlines without any hiccups. A reliable wholesale supplier can become a valuable partner, providing you with the mats you need, when you need them.
Eco-Friendly Options
Many wholesale suppliers offer Eco-friendly Shop Floor Mats that are made from recycled materials or sustainable sources. For contractors focused on green building practices or meeting specific environmental standards, this is a significant advantage. Using Eco-friendly mats can help you achieve certifications or meet client requirements for sustainability, adding another layer of value to your services.
Enhanced Safety
Safety is a top priority in any construction or contracting project. Safety Floor Mats are designed to reduce the risk of slips, trips, and falls, which are common hazards in many work environments. By purchasing these mats wholesale, you can ensure that all areas of your project are adequately covered, enhancing the overall safety of the site. This not only protects workers and visitors but also reduces the likelihood of accidents and potential liability issues.
Branding Opportunities
Logo Floor Mats and other custom mats offer excellent branding opportunities. For commercial spaces, branded mats can create a professional and cohesive look that reinforces the client’s brand. For contractors, this can be an added value proposition to offer clients, setting you apart from competitors. A well-branded mat can leave a lasting impression on visitors and customers, contributing to the overall aesthetics and professionalism of a space.
Improved Aesthetics
First impressions matter, and the entrance to a building is the first thing people see. High-quality Entrance Floor Mats can significantly improve the aesthetics of a space. Whether you are working on a commercial building, office space, or residential property, the right mats can enhance the visual appeal of the entrance, creating a welcoming and professional environment. When purchased wholesale, you can ensure that every project benefits from this added touch of elegance.
Versatility
Wholesale Floor Mats come in various types and styles, making them suitable for different applications. From Warehouse Mats designed for heavy-duty use to decorative mats for residential entrances, the versatility of wholesale mats ensures that you can find the right product for any project. This flexibility allows contractors to cater to a wide range of client needs and preferences, enhancing their service offerings.
Bulk Ordering Convenience
Ordering mats in bulk simplifies the procurement process. Instead of placing multiple orders for individual mats, you can streamline your purchasing by ordering wholesale. This not only saves time but also reduces the administrative burden associated with tracking multiple shipments and invoices. A single bulk order can meet your needs for several projects, allowing you to focus more on your core activities rather than procurement logistics.
Better Client Satisfaction
Providing high-quality, customised mats can significantly improve client satisfaction. When clients see that you have taken the extra step to provide tailored solutions, such as Custom Floor Mats or branded mats, they are likely to be more impressed with your attention to detail and professionalism. Satisfied clients are more likely to refer you to others and provide repeat business, which is invaluable for the growth and success of your contracting business.
Conclusion
In conclusion, purchasing Wholesale Door Mats offers numerous benefits for contractors in the United States. From cost savings and customisation options to enhanced safety and improved aesthetics, wholesale mats provide a valuable solution for various contracting needs. By partnering with a reliable wholesale supplier, you can ensure a consistent supply of high-quality mats, meet client demands, and ultimately enhance the success of your projects. Investing in Wholesale Floor Mats is a smart and strategic move that can provide long-term benefits for your contracting business. For the best options and reliable service, visit US Mat Market to explore their extensive range of wholesale mats and find the perfect fit for your projects.

Haldi Ceremony Decor Dos and Don'ts: Expert Advice for a Stunning Setup
Tumblr media

Creating the perfect Haldi ceremony decoration can elevate the event, making it unforgettable for everyone involved. The Importance of Haldi Ceremony Decor
The Haldi ceremony is traditionally an intimate gathering where turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom. The decor plays a significant role in setting the mood and ambiance, making the event visually appealing and enhancing the overall experience. Here are some expert dos and don'ts for creating the perfect Haldi ceremony decoration.
Dos for Haldi Ceremony Decor
1. Do Choose a Vibrant Color Palette
Haldi ceremonies are known for their bright and cheerful colors. Yellow, orange, and green are popular choices that symbolize prosperity and happiness. Incorporate these colors into your Haldi ceremony decor to create a lively atmosphere.
2. Do Use Floral Arrangements
Fresh flowers are a must for Haldi ceremony decor. Marigolds, roses, and jasmine are excellent choices that add fragrance and beauty. Use flower garlands to decorate the seating area, entrance, and backdrop for a festive look.
3. Do Consider Comfortable Seating
Ensure that your guests are comfortable by providing enough seating. Use traditional floor seating with colorful cushions and mats, or choose elegant chairs with decorative covers that match your theme.
4. Do Incorporate Traditional Elements
Traditional elements like brass pots, earthenware, and ethnic prints can enhance the authenticity of your Haldi ceremony decoration. These items add a cultural touch and make the setting more meaningful.
5. Do Use Canopies and Drapes
Create a shaded area with canopies and drapes to protect guests from the sun. Use sheer fabrics in vibrant colors to add a touch of elegance to the decor. Canopies can also serve as a beautiful backdrop for photographs.
Don'ts for Haldi Ceremony Decor
1. Don't Overcrowd the Space
Avoid cluttering the area with too many decorations. A crowded space can make guests feel uncomfortable and restrict movement. Focus on a few key elements that stand out rather than overloading the venue with decor.
2. Don't Ignore the Weather
Consider the weather when planning your Haldi ceremony decor. If it’s an outdoor event, ensure there are adequate arrangements for shade and cooling. For indoor events, make sure the ventilation is good and the space is well-lit.
3. Don't Forget About Safety
Safety should always be a priority. Ensure that all decorations are securely placed to prevent accidents. Avoid using fragile items that could break and cause harm, and keep pathways clear for easy movement.
4. Don't Neglect the Mehndi Stage Decor
If your Haldi ceremony is followed by a mehndi event, plan the mehndi stage decoration in advance. The stage should be beautifully decorated with a mix of flowers, drapes, and lighting. This will create a seamless transition between the two events and keep the decor cohesive.
5. Don't Overlook the Details
Small details can make a big difference in your Haldi ceremony decor. Pay attention to elements like table settings, centerpieces, and guest favors. These details add a personal touch and enhance the overall aesthetic.
Integrating Mehndi Stage Decor and Sangeet Decor
As the Haldi ceremony often leads into other pre-wedding festivals like the mehndi and sangeet, it’s essential to consider how these events can be visually connected. Here are some tips for integrating mehndi stage decoration and sangeet decoration with your Haldi setup.
Mehndi Stage Decor Tips:
- Use similar colors and themes for both the Haldi and mehndi stages to create a cohesive look.
- Incorporate beautiful henna patterns in the stage backdrop for the mehndi ceremony.
- Use comfortable seating for the bride and groom, adorned with matching cushions and drapes.
Sangeet Decoration Tips:
- The sangeet is a more lively and musical event, so choose brighter lights and more dynamic decor elements.
- Use stage lighting and spotlights to highlight performers and create a festive atmosphere.
- Incorporate props like musical instruments and traditional dance elements to enhance the decor.
By planning your Haldi ceremony decor in harmony with the mehndi stage decor and sangeet decor, you create a seamless flow of events that are visually stunning and memorable.
Conclusion
Creating the perfect Haldi ceremony decoration requires careful planning and attention to detail. By following these dos and don’ts, you can ensure a beautiful and safe environment for your guests. 12 Days of Vampmas - Sebastian
Word Count: 865
Genre: Fluff
Pairing(s): Sebastian/MC
Warning(s): N/A
Prompt: Taking a warm bath after spending the day outside.
A/N: Prompt for this fic is found [here] on my prompt blog!
Tumblr media
There was always something about M. le Comte’s mansion that felt like home, the old building carrying an air of grand importance and comfort with every inch inside it. Right now, it was warm, already thawing him from the winter’s chill as soon as he closed the front door behind him. Sebastian adjusted the box in his arms to brace it in one hand, reaching up to unwind his scarf from around his neck. His girlfriend next to him stomped snow from her boots on the front entry mat. She was getting snow on the lush carpet of the hall but he ignored that in favor of the sight of her rosy cheeks and the thick flakes melting into diamond droplets in her hair.
She looked up at him with a smile as she shifted the bags she was carrying further up her arms to get a better grip on them. “It really started to come down on the way home. You were right to have us come back early. Are you sure we have everything we need for dinner tonight?”
“Yes. The other items on my list weren’t a priority.” He hung his scarf on the coat rack and passed the box between hands as he removed his coat before helping her with hers. Hanging them next to each other on the rack, he led the way to the kitchen, the near silent sound of her heels on the carpeted floor following behind him.
They set the bags and the package on the counter and Sebastian quickly and efficiently unpacked them. He put away the food she had been carrying and the glasses of Blanc from the box he had picked up from the supplier while they were in town. Turning to face her again, he felt a small smile broach his lips as he watched her cup her hands and blow hot air between her palms.
“As we came back early, we still have time before we need to prepare dinner. Would you like to take a warm bath?”
“Is that going to be alright?”
He watched as droplets of melted snow dripped from her hairline down along her temple. He dropped his eyes to meet her worried gaze. “Only if I can join you,” he deadpanned, resisting from breaking into a smile as her cheeks picked up a dark hue not caused by the cold weather.
“Oh, um, okay. I’d like that, actually.” She smoothed out her shirt to distract herself from the embarrassment of his straightforward request. “I’ll go ahead?”
“Please do. I’ll be a short while.”
“Mm, see you soon.”
Sebastian watched as she walked out of the kitchen, feeling pleased with himself as he went about making a pot of coffee. He poured it between several cups on a tray, along with several vials of Blanc and Rouge. Making a quick path around the mansion to pass the drinks out to the residents, he made sure everyone was taken care of before he dropped off the empty tray in the kitchen, stopped by his room for a change of clean clothes, and made his way to le thermae.
Stripping of his still slightly damp clothing, he folded and set them aside on a bench, grabbing a fresh towel from a pile next to it. Threading his hair back from where it had started to droop into his face, he wrapped the towel around his waist, pinning it in place. Walking into the main bath area and locking the door behind him, he looked up at the glass ceiling. Unfortunately, with the heat of the waters and the cold glass, all there was to see this evening was fogged windows.
A gentle splash caught his attention and he dropped his head to see her waiting for him, her back to the entrance. Walking over, he carefully slid himself into the warm water next to her. She had her head leaned back against the stone edge of the bath, eyes closed, wearing only a sweet smile and a towel. Not for the first time, as the steam swirled around the surface of the water, he imagined what a life with her would be like, in 21st century Japan. That this moment could be lifted into a time and place familiar to both of them.
“Are you still staring?” she asked, bringing him out of his thoughts.
He huffed a laugh, leaning over to press a soft kiss to her temple. She hummed and turned her head to face him, keeping her eyes closed as she brushed her lips along his cheek until she met his mouth. Lifting a hand, he crooked a finger under her chin to keep her there, nice and close.
“Akihiko…” she murmured, sending lightning heat through his veins at the sound of his name carried on the familiar accent of his home country. He responded in turn, pulling her closer to hold her in his arms.
Alone together, to the sound of dripping water and panting breath, he poured out his love for her as best he could before their new lives on this side of the time skip took the forefront of their time once more.

Back again with my bullshit!
Like I don’t even know what to say for this crack-iest of crackfics. It started out with me wondering how Kakuzu would be as a kid and wondering if he’d still be as obsessed with money as he is in canon, me thinking up that whole scene of Kid kuzu explaining how tax works to Hidan and then evolved into:
‘Kid kuzu would totally still be the adult with the man child Hidan’ and then BAM, this happened
Tumblr media
That’s why you’ll notice the first part I refer to Kakuzu as his name and not Kid kuzu as I do sometime in the middle, it started out as a draft, me just putting my thoughts to paper and then crafting a story behind it. I mean I could quickly change it but shut up
That’s ALSO why it’s never stated that Hidan wants to get closer to Kakuzu until like the kid kuzu section, but what can you do? (see shrugging gif above)
Summary: through reasons not explored, Kakuzu somehow turns into a kid. Pain gives them time off until they fix things Hidan’s left to look after him
----
Hidan was scrutinizing the map pain given him with intense focus. Apparently, there was a empty house of one of Akatsuki’s suppliers that was willing to let the two use his estate that he only used on business trips outside his nation, located in Iwagakure they had quite the walk to get there from amegakure
The two would be station there until Kakuzu’s underlings got information on how to reverse this jutsu and turn the miser back to normal
The miser in question, was… well not himself. Even looking at the kid was weird, the taki missing nin was no longer his opposing and menacing self. He barely reached Hidan’s stomach and had short hair with plain old clothes, and don’t get Hidan started on those eyes-
“Woah!” Hidan yelped in surprised as he nearly tripped over exposed root sticking out of the ground. He only managed to save face thanks to small hands grabbing his cloak
“Every good ninja is aware of their surroundings” Kakuzu stated as a matter of fact, sounding quite unimpressed by Hidan’s slip up “What? Can’t multitask?” Kakuzu asked in a slightly mocking tone
“This fucking map!” Hidan snapped, stopping his urge to rip the damn thing in half “It’s fucking confusing as all hell, I can’t tell where the fuck we are or where we’re suppose to go!” He ruffled his silver hair in frustration when Kakuzu wordless snatched the thing away from him
“And that blasted leader wasn’t any help at all” Hidan grumbled in a foul mood “Go where the trees form a natural path” He mocked the instructions given to him “Fucking atheist should’ve at least pointed me in the right direction, I swear to Jashin I’ll curse him one day”
Hidan haltered in his step when Kakuzu suddenly changed directions
“The hell are you going?”
“The right way” He answered simply as he jumped up into the trees
“Oi! Wait up!” Hidan called out as he jumped in after him, and was forced to follow after the boy as he didn’t relent or stray from their new path
----
Hidan panted as he looked down at the house they’d be staying in, It was rather large and spacious, tradition down to the secluded pond with a Rock Waterfall, with bonsai tree on either end of the yard
Kakuzu was the first to hop into the yard, landing near the stone path leading into the house. Hidan followed suit and continued looking around, catching a enclosed enclave situated between the house’s structure. It was a damn nice place
Entering, it was traditional as tradition got with Tatami mats covering the expansion of the floor save for the wooden entrance where one was meant to take off one’s shoes. Kakuzu proceeded in, respectfully taking his shoes off and getting acquainted with their new living space for the time being; only briefly considering ransacking the place of it’s goods and pawning them off to get more money, before he reminded himself that he frequented business with this man and that it’s be unwise to tarnish that relation
Hidan stormed past him in excitement, Kakuzu noticing with distaste that the zealot didn’t bother showing the proper pleasantries of taking his shoes off. Sighing before opening a room up to find a single lone table accompanied by cushions adorning the floor, eating place he noted before closing the sliding doors
Walking down the hallway further, Kakuzu wanted to find the washroom to shower before heading to bed, it was a long journey to Iwagakure and the duo travelled nonstop for two days just to get here
At least this house was relatively secluded from any town or village, less people aware of their stay the better
“Kakuzu!” Hidan called out for him, making his way over to where the voice came from, he found Hidan in the bedroom “Look at that bed! It’s like fucking royalty!” He exclaimed as he jumped onto the big cushion-y bed. Nearly being devoured by it when he sank in before he sprung back up to land just before Kakuzu
“And their bathroom isn’t to shabby either” Hidan smirked that smirk that always managed to piss Kakuzu off “Want to take a bath together?”
Kakuzu blanked at that
“Hidan?”
“Yeah?”
“Say something that disgusting again, and I’ll drown you in the pond to feed the koi fish” Kakuzu threatened seriously to which Hidan only snickered “Fucking relax heathen, didn’t you bath with your parent growing up? I mean you’re a kid now. I won’t exactly be looking forward to seeing anything down there”
Although Hidan had a valid point, it still irked Kakuzu making his blood boil “I can manage on my own. Just go to bed, you can shower tomorrow morning”
“Oi!” Hidan yelled catching his attention “You’re the brat now got it, whatever I say goes!”
“That logic is as deluded as you” Kakuzu mused as he entered the bathroom and locked the door, ignoring the shouts of protest outside, opting to take his clothes off and start his shower
----
----
“I thought everyone knew people with higher taxable incomes are subject to higher tax rates, and people with lower taxable incomes are subject to lower tax rates?” Kid kuzu seemed legitimately confused that this wasn’t common knowledge “Your tax bracket is based on “taxable income”, which is your gross income from all sources, minus any tax deductions you may qualify for” He explained while going through the finance sheets with minimum difficulties, only occasionally pulling out a calculator to punch some numbers in before scribbling down some more numbers
Kid kuzu sighed “A tax deduction is a dollar amount you can subtract from your taxable income. The lower your taxable income, the lower your tax bill” the boy explained further when Hidan looked although he were speaking a foreign language “Being an adult I figured you’d have at least the bare minimum knowledge for this sort of thing, but I guess I was expecting too much”
“Listen here you little shit, I denounced material crap the moment I devoted myself to Jashin-sama! Whatever I need, I kill for it” Hidan went to jab his chest only for a small hand to catch the appendage with ease, bending it enough to strain muscles in a wordless threat of breaking the damn thing should Hidan do anything else
“Jashin sounds like the god of poverty” He stated bluntly as he threw Hidans hand back at him and closed his little book before setting it aside and standing up “I find religion to be a waste of time, it certainly doesn’t pay bills. Now if you’d excuse me, I’m going outside” Kakuzu explained as he opened the sliding door leading outside, taking a book with him as he hopped into the gated backyard
“Where are you going?” Hidan asked, peaking his head out to see the little fucker as he made his way to the shade of a tree to sit down and start reading in silence
Hidan growled as he hopped into the backyard too, hands on his hips as silence stretched between the two. Kid kuzu seemingly content to read in silence “What are you doing?” Hidan asked annoyed
“Don’t ask questions with obvious answers” Kakuzu snarked back at him without skipping a beat “But I guess someone as stupid as you never heard of it; it’s called ‘reading’.” All without looking up from his book
“I get that you smartass, but why the hell did you bother coming out here for?” At that Kakuzu looked up at him, his green eyes (alarmingly normal with the absence of red sclerae) before cocking a brow in silent question
“You could’ve easily read inside” Hidan pointed out
“Habit” He answered curtly
“Growing up in Takigakure a epidemic of sorts spread, and my mother was bed ridden. She was the superstitious type and wouldn’t want me near her in fear that she’d infect me with this unknown illness plaguing our village. Sounded like rubbage to me, but she kept pestering me about it” Kakuzu shrugged and let his shoulders sag some as he relaxed against the bark “So whenever I wasn’t keeping up with our financial situation for us, I’d go outside to read” wordlessly gestured to the book
Hidan couldn’t believe he was doing this, but if it meant getting closer to Kakuzu it was worth a shot. Perching in a crouched position to get on the smaller boys level, Hidan sighed as he ran a hand through his silver locks before asking “And how did that… make you feel?” Even to him it sounded awkward as all hell, he almost regrets even asking until Kakuzu simply shrugged
“My mother always kind of annoyed me, she was weak willed and had serious insecurity from father leaving. So she tended to smother me” Kakuzu recalled “Although I worried for her health as many kids would, I found interest in the adult world. Money was fascinating to me, even as a kid. It was the most powerful force the world had”
“What do you mean?”
“With money you could do anything. Money had the power to save or ruin lives. Take my mother for example, because our money was going into paying off our property, we hardly had any left for her. So when she became ill, she couldn’t get the proper medical treatment she required and died because of it. Money and our lack thereof killed her” he answered in a bored tone as he flipped the page
Hidan wasn’t one to care for death, that shit happened. So, he didn’t really know how to approach this. Should he laugh it off and say that’s Jashin’s divine punishment for placing money above god like he always did? Or try sympathizing? Hidan really didn’t know since he easily sees the brat getting annoyed with either one he chose. The silence stretched between the two and Hidan let it since Kakuzu himself seemed content to leave it as that
“The fuck” Hidan mumbled as he finally took note of the book in Kakuzu’s hand and blanked when he read the title ‘how to make a profit’ Hidan scoffed, leave it to kid kuzu to read boring ass shit like that for fun
Snatching the book, Hidan stood at his full height when Kakuzu snarled and tried grabbing it back
“Hidan” Kakuzu’s voice was like that of a patient mother a second away from scolding a child, Hidan found that ironically hilarious seeing how Kid kuzu barely came up to his stomach “Give that back” He demanded with a glare
“Haven’t you ever been a kid? I mean I now back in your day it was expected to be a ninja from a young age, but damn. I think I’m starting to see why you’re such a grouch all the god damn time” Hidan noted with a sympathetic shake of his head “Come on little guy” Hidan said as he tossed the book behind him uncaring as he hefted the kid up by the arms
“Hidan. Put me down” Kakuzu said not really struggling. But he sounded immensely annoyed to Hidan’s amusement
“Can’t believe this small body of yours becomes your imposing self later in life. I bet puberty hit you like a truck” Hidan chuckled, and when Kakuzu began struggling in his hold. The zealot could only find his efforts cute
“Where are we going?” Kakuzu question unamused. He promptly gave up knowing struggling would be pointless. Hidan wished he kept at it, it really was adorable watching his tiny arms and legs thrash about
“To the park”
“Hidan, I’m not going to play” Kakuzu spat the word ‘play’ out in a disgusted manner
“And why the hell not?” Hidan spat back
“Because I’m a grown ass man nearing 100” He answered dryly
“To anybody and everybody you look like a kid, I bet even other Akatsuki members wouldn’t recognize you” the platinum haired man tried to reason “Just fucking let loose and take this chance to have fun”
“My definition of ‘fun’ isn’t that of a normal persons Hidan. My fun is silence, my fun is curled up under the shade of a tree with a good book. Not doing pointless play and socializing more than I must” Kakuzu began resisting again, giving a loud growl of frustration when he gave up yet again as he didn’t even budge in Hidan’s grip
“And it’s definitely not being carried off by my idiot partner to be forced to do just that” Hidan stopped, setting Kakuzu down, Kakuzu was surprised at this and looked up at him as they silently held each others gaze
“Can we do something?” It sounded like a plea, and Kakuzu hardened a glare at the sound of it
“Like what?” He ground out, crossing his arms angrily as he really couldn’t be bothered to do anything. He just wanted to read damnit
“What do you want to do” Hidan paused and looked to consider something before he added “That’s not reading” Kakuzu tsk’d audibly
Time passed as Kakuzu mulled over what the two could do together
More time passed, a gentle breeze whipping past the duo
“…”
“You really can’t think of anything can you?” Hidan asked with a small amount of pity in his voice, it pissed the miser off
“Well what did you do back in your day? Did you find anything enjoyable? Anything at all?” Hidan prompted, trying desperately to get something. But Kakuzu was giving him nothing to work with
“Training”
“Huh?” Hidan asked stupidly, dumbfounded
“Training” Kakuzu reiterated “It was the few things me and my father used to do together before he left. I remember learning how to throw kunai was fun” He explained
Hidan beamed startling Kakuzu
“Then let’s fucking“ Hidan drawled to look around trying to find a place to practice, not seeing anything “er- Let’s fucking do it” Hidan nodded before grabbing the smaller hand in his to drag him back to the backyard of their little impromptu house
‘Progress’ was all the albino could think. After spending an entire week with the man, finally he was making some real progress. He couldn’t screw it up
----
“You need to flick your wrist and add more power” Kakuzu explained with mild irritation
“It’s not my fault I never fucking use these things, I mean who would with a scythe like this” Whipping it off of his back he made a show of showcasing his prized weapon by flinging it around like a madman Kakuzu sighed
“You graduated without perfecting this simple trick?” Kakuzu questioned in disbelief “my, how far have shinobi fallen?”
“Hmph, this whole thing is stupid anyways” Hidan concluded snobbily as he turned his nose up and crossed his arms over his chest
“Nobody forced you to do this you know, let’s just call it quits”
“No!” Hidan said hurriedly only to scratch the back of his head awkwardly “I mean, I think I almost got the hang of it”
“…” Kakuzu stared at his partner before narrowing his eyes “Not even close” He stated bluntly “Your trajectory was awful; your wrist flick needs work and your power was pathetic”
“Hah?! You got a problem you little shit?! I’ll fricken sacrifice you to Jashin-sama don’t test me!”
“Calm down” Kakuzu glared over at him “I’m sure that even someone as hopeless as you could learn to do this if you tried harder” Kakuzu explained as he walked over to the man, stopping just in front of him and stared up at the man before gesturing for the man to lower himself
Hidan did after a second, and Kakuzu held his hand. Hidan jolted at the contact not expecting it in the slightest before Kakuzu adjusted his grip on the kunai and turning to position his hand properly before taking a step back
They stared at each other, Hidan in stunned silence before it became apparent that Kakuzu wanted him to try throwing it now “…” keeping his hold the way Kakuzu adjusted it for him, he lined up his shot before whipping it like a dart
-Twunk- the sound of the kunai’s sharp edge embedding into the wooden tree of bark. It missed the target’s middle by quite a bit. But it was an improvement seeing how Hidan couldn’t get the damned thing to stick before now
“See?” Kakuzu asked condescendingly, pissing the jashinist off
Kakuzu walked over once more to handed him his own kunai, Hidan took it and again Kakuzu stared at him. Knowing what that meant he did his best to hold the weapon like how Kakuzu showed him before throwing it again
“Oh!” Hidan gleefully cheered once it nearly hit the center “Did you fucking see that shit?” He questioned snapping his head from the target to kid kuzu and back
Kakuzu let out a chuckle at his overzealousness of his minor (and admittingly unimpressive) accomplishment “I did indeed” He needlessly informed the other
By the time the sun was setting, Kakuzu realized that they spent practically the whole day kunai throwing
“Hidan, make diner” Kakuzu demanded as he stalked towards the house, his hands were killing him. He can’t remember the last time he did the basics of kunai throwing for so long
“Take out?” Hidan asked, not really feeling up to cook, his arms were quite sore as well, turns out making a competition of who can hit the center of a target the most in an hour was draining (Kakuzu won)
“Don’t be lazy, we can’t let just anybody find out we’re here. I mean, if anyone saw your face, they’d recognize you as part of the Akatsuki immediately”
“Fiiine~” Hidan whined as he stomped his feet childishly to the kitchen, surprised when soft sounding footsteps followed after him. Peering over his shoulder he saw his ‘little’ companion
Kakuzu picked up on his silent question “I could cut the vegetables” was all he said

Confined to bed rest for Keith? Because I feel like he’s the one out of all the paladins I see having the most difficult time with that. Like, he wants to train and Shiro’s just like, “No.” and has to stay with him. Maybe it’s due to an injury and Keith eventually realizes just how much the injury hurts and how exhausted he is, so he finally just lets Shiro and the rest of the team take care of him, like Hunk making him food and Shiro giving him head rubs and all that fluffy sh*t 👌🏻
Once again, sorry for taking this long! I’ve had this one in my drafts for a while, and I tried to include everything you mentioned ahah. I hope you like it!

“Exit in twenty ticks,” Pidge informs through thecomms.
“Be careful,” Shiro’s voice sounds, low andcalculated, “you’ve got three sentries coming down the left hall.”
“We leave like we got in, right?” Lance asks, tiptoeing close to the wall, behind Pidge, bayard in hand, ready to fire.
“Yes, Lance,” Keith whispers from behind him, “leavethrough the outer vent, and into Green.”
“Yeah, and we better hurry, her cloaking ability won’thold for much longer,” Pidge says, looking both ways at the empty hall. “Comeon!”
The three of them run over to the next corner, stopping in front of an interface. With her wrist gauntlet, Pidge unlocks it,and the first door to the airlock opens.
They move ahead and wait for it for it to close behindthem before unlocking the next one. Lance is still holding his bayard, lookingout for any sentries that could have seen them. The airlock opens, letting thecold air of space hit their suits, and they hold on to the rail.
“Alright, fire jetpacks, we’re going!” Pidge yells, jumping forward, “Green is right here, just follow me!”
Lance goes right after, while Pidge keeps movingupward, towards Green. Keith looks over his shoulder, to check the exit onelast time. The coast seems clear, so he lets go of the rail and turns on hisjetpack for a quick jump.
Something stops him midair.
It’s a sentry, and he’s holding on to Keith’s foot.
“Shit!”
The robot pulls him down, and grabs his knee, metallicfingers digging up on the soft part of the back of his knee, unprotected by thearmor. It pulls, twisting inwards to try to keep Keith still.
Keith squirms, trying to free himself, knee twistingpainfully under the robot’s grasp.
“Lance!”
Lance turns around quickly from where he is, and hiseyes widen as he realizes what’s going on.
“Oh no.”
He’s not too far from Keith, but not close enough toafford to waste time. Bayard on his shoulder, he closes his left eye and takesa shot.
It goes right to the sentry’s chest, and it drops tothe floor.
It should have been a moment of great relief for Keith,if only the sentries weren’t so heavy, and if he hadn’t turned on his jetpack.
He screams when his knee twists with an audible crack, and he feels something inside tear.
“Keith!” Lance exclaims, lunging forward to grab hishand. “I didn’t shoot you, did I? Are you okay?”
Keith squeezes his eyes shut, clenching his teeth, andshakes his head.
“M-My knee… I think I twisted it - aagh-”
It’s still not ideal, but Lance breathes a sigh ofrelief. At least he didn’t shoot his teammate. Keith doesn’t seem to be ingreat condition, but they’ve both had more serious injuries than a twistedjoint. Deactivating his bayard, he places a hand on Keith’s back to guide him.
“Okay, okay, let’s get to the Lion, Green is-”
Lance looks around.
They don’t know where Green is.
“Pidge!” Lance yells into the comms. “Where areyou?!” He tries to hold Keith closer, pulling his wrist and grabbing onto hisarm, as the void attempts to make them drift away.
“Right here, lance, we’re still invisible, remember, Ijust have to-“
BONK
Keith lets out a scream and curls up immediately, clutching at his left ankle.
“What the hell?!”
“Get in!!”
The green lion becomes visible in an instant, andLance drags Keith inside, not too easily with only the strength of his jetpack, but he decides whatever is wrong with Keith, it will have to be taken care oflater, or else they would be dealing with the Galra ship shooting at them.
Inside Green, the gravity is back to normal. HookingKeith’s arm around his neck, he helps him limp to the back of the cockpit, behind Pidge’s pilot chair.
Keith slowly slides down, until he’s sitting on thefloor, left leg stretched out in front of him. He takes his helmet off withclumsy shaking hands and screws his eyes shut, his jaw tightening with pain.
“Keith!” Lance lowers himself next to him on thefloor, a hand on his shoulder. “It hit you…”
“Just get me to the castle,” Keith gasps, trying totake deep breaths.
“What happened?!” Pidge demands from the pilot seat, inserting the coordinates to the Castle.
“Green hit Keith, after a sentry hurt his leg,” Lanceblurts out, as he removes Keith’s knee plate.
Keith’s eyes roll back with a groan. The black fabricdoesn’t accuse blood, but to say that the joint is misplaced is a bit of aneuphemism. The kneecap is at least a few centimeters off from where it shouldbe, towards the inside of his leg, making the rest of it lay awkwardly ofthe floor.
“What?! Is he okay?”
Lance tries to rotate Keith’s tight, to inspect itclosely, but Keith lets out a hiss, and he stops. “He’s gonna need a cryopod.”
Pidge nods and pushes her controls forward, making thelion go faster.
“Where did Green hit you?” Lance asks Keith quietly,“was it here too?”
Keith shakes his head. “Ankle.”
Lance nods and looks ahead at Pidge’s direction.“We have a visual on the castle, should take a couple of minutes to get there,”he says to Keith, “think you can manage for that long?”
Keith nods, with a frown, and leans back, trying toeven out his breathing.
“What is going on?!”
“Shiro!” Pidge exclaims, “we’re heading back now-“
“I lost communication with you, I heard screams, iseverything okay?”
“Keith needs a cryopod,” Lance explains, “he messed uphis knee.”
“Understood,” Shiro says, “I’ll be waiting atthe hangar.”
*
Lance nudges Keith’s shoulder with a gentle push.
“We’re here buddy, let’s get you to a cryopod.”
Keith nods. His body seems insistent on staying still,as if gravity itself is pulling him down, pinning him to the floor. He’s nostranger to the end of an adrenaline rush, but he will never get used to it.
He slowly pushes himself up with Lance’s help, gaspingas the pain in his knee flares up.
“Take it easy, let me help.”
Lance puts Keith’s left arm around his neck, likeearlier, and they both move slowly towards the exit ramp. With all of his cockyand cool behavior, Lance is almost surprisingly gentle and patient, andKeith would undoubtedly appreciate it more, wasn’t his ankle throbbing thismuch.
“What happened? Is he okay?” Shiro asks from outside, rushing to Keith’s side.
“Green hit him,” Lance explains, as Shiro grabsKeith’s other arm to hook around his neck.
Shiro stops dead in his tracks to look at Lance.
“The lion?!”
“Yeah, cloak mode and all that.”
The three of them climb down Greens ramp, all the wayacross the hangar, to the infirmary. Shiro keeps stopping at times, tocheck on Keith, occasionally adjusting his grip on Keith’s waist. Keith triesto keep his breath steady, following along with Shiro and Lance, but hisstomach tells him otherwise. He’s already sweating, cold prickles joining together underneathhis black suit and matting his hair. He swallows back the nausea and tries notto think about it.
But as soon as they arrive at the infirmary, he can’thold it anymore. With a quick push to Shiro, he leans over the small sink bythe entrance and vomits, hands gripping the bowel to stay upright.
Shiro is quick to run to his side, hands around hiswaist to support him, and Lance adjusts his position as well.
“Do you think you’re done?” Coran asks from behind himwhen it stops. He’s still hunched over the sink, energy gone, shivering as anaked rat with sweat matting his hair.
The nausea remains, but Keith doesn’t feel likethrowing up anymore. He shakes his head.
“Put him in that bed,” Coran instructs, walkingtowards the storage closets.
“Bed? Coran, he needs a cryopod, his leg is broken,”Shiro says with a frown.
“I’m afraid that’s not possible,” Coran says sadly, orange eyebrows tilting outwards, “the power supplier for the cryopods is broken, and we need ultranium to get a new one.”
Lance winces, glancing at Keith’s knee. “So what do wedo?”
“Treat him the old-fashioned way, “Shiro sighs.
*
It’s a monumental relief laying back with his legstill and his head on the pillow.
The nausea still makes the room spin a little, butKeith feels steadier, and not having weight added on his knee makes the painsubside a little.
Coran and Shiro are hovering over him, and Lance haspushed a chair to sit by his side. Between the three of them, they had removedhis armor easily, but taking off the under suit had made Keith move much morethan what was comfortable, and now he’s left on his underwear, shivering withthe cold air of the infirmary. Shiro shoots him an apologetic look, beforegrabbing one of the thin blankets they kept on the cupboards, and throwing itaround Keith’s shoulders. Keith grabs it, pulling it tighter, rubbing his armsto warm up.
A quick scan confirms a nasty fracture in the ankle, atorn anterior ligament on his knee, and a spiral fracture on the upper tibia.
“We need to reset the knee,” Shiro points out, almoststaring into nothingness with a sad grimace, trying not to think about how muchit would hurt Keith.
“I’ll do it,” Coran pipes in, quietly “could one ofyou bring Keith’s pajamas here?
“What?” Keith asks, confused, “why?”
“It’s best if you stay here for the night, Keith,”Coran explains, “those injuries are not to be taken lightly.”
“I can sleep in my room,” he argues moodily, crossinghis arms across his chest. Keith can’t exactly pinpoint why he’s soopposed to the idea, but the prospect of staying here on his own all nightmakes him uneasy. He wants his leg to stop hurting and go to his room to take anap. Not this.
“All the medical supplies are here,” Shiro sighs, leaningclose to Keith with a comforting hand on his back, “it’s just in case somethinghappens.”
“And with the cast you’ll have fitted, it’s not likeyou’re able to walk too far.”
“Cast?” Keith asks, suddenly resembling a much youngerversion of him, eyes wide and looking up.
“You broke your leg,” Lance shrugs, attempting tooffer an explanation. Keith rolls his eyes and looks back at Coran.
“Can’t you just…leave it? Until the cryopods areback up?” He insists.
“Eh, I don’t think so. We can’t risk your boneshealing wrong, and the cast is hard enough to protect it.”
Keith sighs, defeated.
Coran gives him an anesthetic injection, and withShiro’s help they reset the kneecap. He almost doesn’t notice, from how worndown he is. It hurts a little, but the injection dulls it to an acceptablerange.
After that, he lays back on the bed, exhausted, whileCoran prepares the splinter and the cast. He tries closing his eyes and takingdeep breaths, but his leg hurts. After so many times when the cryopods hadsaved them so much time and pain, it really feels like a hassle having his legbroken like this and having to deal with it like he would back on Earth.
Lance eventually comes back with Keith’s pajamas, thered robes and lion slippers he rarely used (not because he didn’t like them, hejust usually slept in his underwear). Coran is finally done with the cast, that ends just above Keith’s knee, so he dresses himself, welcoming the warmfeeling of the clothes. He’s able to dress the top part, but bending down israther exerting at the moment, so Shiro helps him with his pants.
Coran comes back with two pillows under his arm, andShiro helps Keith laying back, while Coran lifts Keith’s broken leg.
“You will have to keep your leg elevated like this, asmuch as you can, until the cryopods are back up and running,” Coran explains, placing the pillows under the cast. “It would probably be best if you take some painkillersnow, or else it might take you a while to go to sleep.” He hands Keith a smallpill and a glass of water, which Keith downs quickly, before laying back down.
“It’s 11 PM, Earth hours, I think I’m gonna head tobed,” Lance yawns, before turning to Keith. “Think you’ll be okay?”
Keith nods, and Lance leaves slowly, taking out hisarmor on the way.
“I should go too,” Coran comes closer. “If you needanything, just press the button on the side of the bed and I’ll come right up.”
“Thanks, Coran.”
Shiro lowers himself into the chair next to the bedwhere Lance had been.
“I can stay if you want me to,” Shiro offers, after Coranis gone. Keith shifts in the mattress, trying to adjust the position of hisleg, but everything still feels uncomfortable. He sighs.
“It’s late,” Keith mumbles tiredly, eyes alreadydrooping, “you should get some sleep as well.”
“I can stay until you fall asleep,” Shiro shrugs,“shouldn’t take too long with the painkillers Coran gave you.”
“Hm. Hope not.”
It takes two minutes until he’s fast asleep, and Shirotucks him in with a tired smile, before leaving.
*
Keith wakes up the next morning with the sound of thedoors sliding open.
Surprisingly, his leg feels a little better, just anannoying dull ache to remind him of his predicament.
“Hey, team leader,” Lance strides in, holding a plateof cookies, “how’s the leg?”
“Broken,” Keith answers sarcastically, proppinghimself up on his elbows. He rubs his eyes and brings his arm back to adjusthis pillow, in order to be sitting up.
Lance winces at the remark, setting the plate on thebedside table. “Grumpy today, aren’t we? Does it hurt?”
“Not as much as yesterday, no.”
“Hm,” Lance considers thoughtfully, “how long untilyou’re up and around again?”
Keith sighs and leans back, closing his eyes. “Coransays once we get the ultranium, it should take about four days to get thecryopods to work again.”
“Ah, it’s not that bad,” Lance shrugs, “you get alittle vacation week.”
Keith scoffs, pointing at himself, voice still roughfrom sleep. “Is this what you call vacation?!”
Lance holds his hands up in apology. “Alright, alright, sorry. Just trying to lighten the mood.”
“Are those for me?” Keith asks softly, pointing at theplate. Lance pick it up again with a smile.
“Yeah. Hunk is kinda busy with some reparations, buthe made you these and asked me to bring them.”
Keith accepts the plate and takes one cookie. “They’regood. I gotta tell Hunk to make more of these.”
Lance laughs. “Yeah, he said he found a coolingredient on Olkarion that’s very similar to cinnamon, so he’s trying out lotsof new stuff. Yesterday he was actually-“
The alarms are blaring.
“W- What – something’s wrong-“
Keith looks around desperately, the lights on the shipgoing red.
“Paladins, we’re under attack! There’s a Galra fleetheading to our trajectory. Get to your lions!”
“Damn it…” Lance mumbles, getting up quickly. “Sorry,Keith, I gotta go-“
“No, wait!” Keith yells, making Lance look back. “I can – Ican help-“
“Just stay in bed. It’s gonna be okay.”
*
“Pidge, look out!”
“Guys, there are a couple onmy tail now… I can shake them, but there’s more coming-“
“Lance!”
“I think we need to formVoltron, we’re not gonna be able to fight them like this…”
“Well, we can’t right now, we’regonna have to deal with-“
“Aaah!”
Keith punches the mattress.
He lowers his head closer to his helmet, hearing theothers’ voices, and for a moment, he almost feels ready to throw it against awall.
Instead, he puts it on, takes a deep breath… andswings his right leg out of the bed.
With his hands, he lifts up his left thigh, kicking the pillows back with his other foot, and slowly moves it out of the bed aswell.
His team needs him.
He just needs to leave this bed.
He looks around, searching for something he could grabonto to reach the hangar… and sure enough there’s a pair of something similarto crutches leaning against one of the cupboards next to the door.
Swallowing, he lets himself slide out of the bed, hisright foot touching the floor first, and then the left. He attempts somehesitant steps, hopping on his good leg, as the other protests and throbs withthe added weight of the cast.
Eventually, he gets to the crutches, shaking with painand exhaustion. But the screaming from the comms hasn’t stopped, so he grabsthe crutches and keeps making his way to the hangar.
He briefly wonders how ridiculous he looks right now, redhelmet on his head, red pajamas, left leg encased in a cast and barefoot, hobbling towards the black lion, but he quickly pushes it to the back ofhis mind.
There’s something much more important that requireshis attention, whether he looks ridiculous or not.
Black almost doesn’t let him in when he arrives, jawsclosed and hesitant posture.
“They need me. Please.”
The lion opens up, and Keith slowly goes inside, gasping in relief when he finally gets to the cockpit, plopping over his chair, crutches thrown to the side.
He flies Black outside to join the others. Apparently, the battle moved a little away from the Castle, so he flies closer, as fast ashe can.
“The Black lion left the hangar!?”
Coran’s voice is heard through the comms, incredulous.
“What?!” Follows Shiro, from the bridge.
Keith can see the others and rushes in. There’sno time to waste.
“Guys, I’m here,” Keith says, a little strain in hisvoice, “let’s form Voltron.”
“Wha - Keith?!” Shiro stutters, dumbfounded. “What the hell are you doing??”
“How did you get out here?!” Lance asks.
“Uh, guys, now’s really not the time for questions,”Pidge says, “if Keith’s here we really should form Voltron.”
“What do you think you’re doing, Keith?!” Shiro soundsangrier now, but Keith shakes his head.
“I’m doing my job,” he answers, “Form Voltron!”
One thing Keith forgot to consider from the moment heleft the infirmary bed was that the lions had pedals.
That wouldn’t have been a problem, of course, if hisleft leg wasn’t broken, and if his left pedal wasn’t the speeding one.
So, in favor of getting rid of the Galra fighters, hetwists his hips to the left, using his right foot to press on the left pedal.
“Three incoming on the left!” Lance yells, and Greenshoot out a string of vines to immobilize the ships.
This fight is quite intense, and Keith is doinghis best to ignore the strain he’s putting on his broken leg for now. That’s aproblem he’ll have to deal with later.
“Okay, only those five over there, and we’re done! Themain ship is retreating-“
“Not if we catch him first.”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, Keith,” Lanceadvises, “all of this has already been an emergency situation. I say weget outta here ASAP.”
“No,” Keith grits his teeth, “we can still gethim.”
Voltron speeds up to the Galra cruiser, sword in hand.
Keith presses his left pedal the hardest he can, despite his awkward posture. They just need to get this one ship, and the dayis done.
As Voltron’s sword swings right through the middle ofthe ship, they see its ion canon activate.
“Retreat!”
Before anyone can turn back around, the cruiserexplodes.
But the canon isn’t disabled quick enough.
It hits Voltron in the chest, making it topple backwards, and then even more with the explosion.
Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem, with everyonesteady in their seats, and used to being banged around in battle.
But Keith’s posture is everything but stable.
“Damnit!!” Pidge yells. “Keith!”
When he’s hit first, he tries to stand up and steadyhimself somehow, but he’s thrown backwards with the explosion outside, andeverything goes black.
Shiro stomps through the hangar, walking into Black, glaring at Keith on the floor with a disapproving look.
Keith lowers his face, hiding.
There’s no way he can get out of here on his own, notwith his leg hurting like this, but he knows exactly what Shiro will say, andthe less he sees of his face, the better.
“Hunk!” Shiro calls out, turning his face away, “gonnaneed some help.”
“Coming,” Hunk’s voice sounds from outside, his stepsechoing through the ramp.
Hunk steps in and stops, looking at Keith.
“Aww man… you really should have stayed in bed…”
Shiro walks closer, with Hunk following him, and Shiroseems to stop for a moment, assessing how exactly they could carry Keithout without hurting him further. Shiro resorts to carefully lifting him up bythe armpits, and once he’s upright, he and Hunk support Keith on each side tocarry him out.
Keith barely looks up during the whole walk back tothe infirmary, but when he does at one point, Shiro’s angry and disappointedface sting enough for him to keep looking down.
 *
As it turns out, the fall was enough for the spiralfracture in his tibia to worsen dramatically. Needless to say, Shiro stilllooks pissed off while Coran is re doing the cast. Keith lays back and closeshis eyes. His leg hurts a lot more, even with painkillers, and even if hedoesn’t want to admit it, he could really use some comfort right aboutnow. He’s not a fan of asking for company or help, but he would be lying if hesaid he doesn’t appreciate the others taking care of him when he’s in pain.
When Coran leaves, possibly sensing the tensionbetween him and Shiro, being way more observant than most of them gave himcredit for, Keith is all alone with Shiro.
“The only reason I’m not yelling at you right now isbecause you actually saved the day somehow,” Shiro sighs.
Keith stares at his cast, slightly bulkier than theprevious one. He can’t remember much of the battle right now, urgency stealingall his memories, but he can’t imagine doing it all over again feeling like this.
But he still stands by his reasoning.Hadn’t he gone in the battle, and maybe things would have gone really badly. The lions are sturdy on their own, but they’re not always enough.
“Then I made the right choice.”
“I don’t feel great validating your self-sacrificinginstincts, but yeah. You did,” Shiro admits, walking closer to sit next toKeith.
Keith keeps staring at his lap. Somehow, this doesn’t feel like a victory.
“Then why were you so angry just now?”
“I wasn’t angry. I just worry,” Shiroexplains, “you know I always do. And now your leg is worse, I – Iwish I could have done something.”
“It’s not that bad,” Keith shrugs, “andthe pods should be online soon, right?”
Shiro nods. “In a week or so. Butin the meantime, Allura said she would wormhole us to somewhere safer. That waywe can all take a little break and not worry about the Galra attacking while wedon’t have the five lions. And while you rest.”
Keith sighs. He does hate being in bed with nothing to do, but he can’tdeny the relief he feels at the prospect of resting for a while. “Yeah. That’sprobably for the best. It’s not like I can do much like this.”
With Shiro’s help, he moves to his bed a few hours later, and takes along nap in the afternoon. After all the adrenaline is gone from the fightearlier, his body is really starting to hurt. It feels like he took aserious beating, and even sitting up in his bed is difficult, his muscles weakand drawn out.
The others come check on him soon enough, since they’re in a peacefulquadrant, and Keith appreciates their company, but it’s getting harder andharder to just lay down and do nothing. His natural restlessness is growing bigger, even though he doesn’t really have much energy to spare. It feels like hisown body is confusing about what it wants, and it just frustrates him.
Shiro checks on him frequently, and stays with him for a while. Keithfeels a little pathetic laying down like this with Shiro and the others justhovering around him, but it’s not like he can sit up comfortably. Every time hedoes, his leg starts hurting worse, and the sitting position seems to drawn himout even more.
“You’re tired,” Shiro observes suddenly. Keith had tried to keep focuson what Shiro was saying, but, slowly, the exhaustion has started to seep inhis bones. He closes his eyes with a grimace.
“Sorry, Shiro.”
Shiro shakes his head. “Don‘t be. Does your leg hurt?” He moves fromwhere he sits sideways to Keith on the mattress, to a spot next to the pillow,to be closer to him.
Keith nods. “Yeah.”
“Then just rest, okay? Hunk is probably coming soon with dinner, so justhang on for a bit. You haven’t eaten much today… Then you can go to sleep. You need it.”
Keith curls up in himself tighter, letting Shiro run his fingers throughhis hair gently. It’s soothing, and it gives him something to focus on besidesthe throbbing in his leg and the body ache.
Hunk arrives shortly after, with a bowl of food goo and some pink alienfruit. Shiro must have warned him right away, because he comes in with lightsteps and speaks in a low voice.
“Hey, dude,” he greets gently, placing the tray of food on the bedside table.“How are you doing?”
“Kinda tired,” Keith croaks out, as he sits up against theheadboard.
When he’s almost done with his bowl of food goo, Pidge and Lance peekwith their heads from outside the door.
“Is he still awake?”
“Yeah, yeah,” Shiro says with a smile. “You can come in.”
“Hey, Keith. Pretty rough day, huh?” Lance chuckles, sitting next toKeith’s leg.
Keith shrugs, pushing his bowl of food away.
“Alright, you should probably sleep now,” Shiro decides, gettingup. “Come on guys, he’s really tired.”
“You’ll be okay, Keith?” Pidge asks, placing a gentle hand on hisshoulder.
Keith nods, his heart warming. He had felt bad for worrying Pidgeearlier, so he tries to assure her the best he can. “Just need to rest. Don’tworry.”
“Ah, you’re gonna have to let me draw on that cast, man,” Lance laughs.“It’s so big! It’s like begging to be drawn on.”
“What if he wants to leave it like this?” Hunk suggests, picking up thefood tray from Keith’s lap back onto the table. “You know, Lance, some peoplelike their casts untouched. Especially by your weird doodles.”
“That’s just no fun,” Lance argues, patting Keith’s foot carefully.“Besides, he’s only like this for like, a week tops? And Pidge still has thosemarkers we found in the storage room.”
“Yeah, we could use those,” Pidge smiles.
“If Keith doesn’t mind.” Shiropoints out.
“Hey Keith, do you - oh.”
“He’s out.”
Keith is fast asleep, arms still crossed against his chest, soft snorescoming out of his mouth, a peaceful look on his face.
“Yeah, I think that’s our cue,” Shiro says. “Come on. We should go tobed too. It’s been a long day.”

A Quick Guide on How to Clean Your Coir Mat
Just like any other type of flooring or covering, coir mats require a level of maintenance and cleaning, to ensure your inside space stays clean and dirt free. Coir mats are one of the most popular types of entrance matting (click here), and you probably have one yourself if you have clicked on this blog post! They are an excellent natural matting product, that effectively scrapes all the dirt and moisture from the bottom of your shoes. But due to this, they can end up holding a lot of dirt and dust and need to have a thorough clean from time to time. Even coir mats need a freshen-up sometimes!
Tumblr media
I know pretty much everything and anything about different types of matting and how to clean them, so I have made a quick guide on how you can clean your coir mat.
Removing Dry Dirt
Shake Off the Excess
Firstly, you will want to take your coir mat into a well-ventilated space, I would suggest just going outside and shaking your mat in the air. Make sure to use quite some force to remove the dirt and dust - just avoid getting it into your eyes! And whilst it is in the air, you might as well clean underneath the mat, so no debris is remaining.
Use a Broom
Next, I recommend using a broom to sweep away the dirt that is now loose. A hard bristled broom might work better but any broom will do.
Tumblr media
Vacuum Cleaning
To really get into the nit and gritty, a vacuum cleaner is an excellent way of reaching the debris that is stuck deeper in the coir fibres. Hopefully by now the dirt will have become unstuck and the vacuum will easily be able to suction it up. To minimise disrupting the fibres, use your vacuum on a lower setting.
Using Water to Remove Dirt
Washing by Hand
If you are wanting to use water to remove the dirt from your coir mat, the best way is to wash it by hand. I do not recommend washing your mat in a washing machine, as it may damage the fibres. The best way to clean your mat is to use a little bit of warm water and a hard bristled brush, and gently scrub the dirt off the mat. If it is being a bit stubborn, I recommend using a tiny bit of natural soap to encourage the dirt to loosen up.
Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaners
If you can get your hands on a wet and dry vacuum cleaner, this is also a fantastic method to clean your entrance mats, especially in commercial spaces. These kinds of vacuums are designed to remove solid dirt and dust, as well as liquids. Before doing this step, I would suggest checking with your entrance mat supplier on whether your mat is suitable for wet and dry vacuum cleaners, as they can be a little harsh.
Removing Stubborn Stains
Spot Cleaning
Tumblr media
Have you got an annoying stain that won’t come out? Don’t worry, I also methods of how you can get this out too! To remove general household spills, use a bit of natural soap and water to spot clean the stain, or what works just as well is diluting some carpet shampoo.
If you have a pet and are worried about certain incidents happening, these can be covered in bicarbonate of soda, which will absorb the liquid and eliminate the odour.
And finally, we all know oil stains are an absolute pain to remove, however with perseverance they can be reduced (although you might need to pop out to the shop for this one). Oil stains can be treated with water, coconut oil, and white vinegar. Similar to the above, gently spot clean the area with this mixture and the stain should lift.
And that is how you maintain and clean your coir mat, and also how to remove those stubborn stains. I know cleaning is a bit of a boring chore, but from my experience after your entrance mat is cleaned it does make a massive difference! I hope you have enjoyed this quick and easy guide and stay tuned for more!

Exhibition Carpet Dubai: Tips For Choosing The Right One
When it comes to choosing the right exhibition carpet Dubai, there are many factors to consider, including the size of the space you have to work with, the use of the carpet (for example, whether you need it as a floor covering or just in some cases), and your budget. No matter what your needs are, you’ll find something that fits them here! Let’s take a look at what goes into choosing the right exhibition carpet Dubai.
Type
Exhibition carpets come in three different types: Pre-Rolled, Cut-Pile and Loop Pile. Pre-Rolled is cheaper but also less durable than Cut-Pile and Loop Pile. Both Cut-Pile and Loop Pile can be custom fitted to any surface so they’re a great option if you’re working with a tight budget or have a complicated space to cover. There are many benefits of choosing an Exhibition carpet from us at Exhibition Carpet Dubai supplier, such as durability and resistance to heavy foot traffic. We offer free installation on all our products. Visit our website today for more information!
 Colour
Exhibition carpets come in a variety of colours, and depending on your event, you may have a lot of say over what colour you choose. Exhibition carpet Dubai suppliers can help you pick from a wide range, or advise based on experience. As always with carpets, though, be aware that any rug at an exhibition will take some time to get used to—colour is often brighter than expected!
 Thickness
Exhibition carpets are designed to be walked on, and if they’re too thin or lightweight, your exhibitors will feel every crack and bump. You need to make sure that you choose a carpet that has been constructed with durability in mind. The thicker it is, the more robust it will be. Just don’t make it so thick that guests trip over it!
 Material
Exhibition carpets are often made of synthetic materials to ensure they last a long time and remain easy to clean. But carpet is not your only option, as you can also choose flooring tiles, an exhibition flooring mat or even simply roll out some boards. If you’re trying to find an Exhibition carpet Dubai supplier then get in touch with Wholesale Designer Rugs & Carpets.
 Density
The first factor to consider is density. Exhibition carpets are usually made from jute, which can be woven into a coarse or dense fabric. Coarse carpets tend to be used on busy exhibition floors, while denser ones are better suited to high-traffic areas like foyers and entrances. If you’re looking at a carpet that doesn’t specify its density, ask your supplier about how it will stand up to foot traffic.
Knowing What Makes an Exhibition Carpet Great
You need an exhibition carpet that looks great, attracts attention and withstands heavy foot traffic. The last thing you want is a carpet that looks shabby after just a few days of use. The standard minimum recommendation is that you should opt for carpets with a pile height of at least 3 millimeters. If you’re planning to hold your event in a large exhibition center, where thousands of people will visit over several days, you may want to consider opting for something thicker such as 5 or 6 mm pile heights (which aren’t suitable for indoor home use). Look for fibres made from materials like nylon and polypropylene—they are strong and more resilient than natural materials such as wool or cotton.
How To Choose Best Exhibition Carpet Company
Usually, it is better to invest in a good carpet, rather than just get an inexpensive one that may need replacement sooner. Select a high-quality exhibition carpet, and you will save on maintenance costs and replacement issues down the road. The best exhibition carpets are durable and have been tested under tough conditions. Their colors do not fade even after years of use. The fibers should be made of strong materials that don’t go off easily under moisture or heat. A good way to ensure your carpet looks great throughout its life is by using anti-slip coating. It provides extra safety at exhibitions where there are lots of people with slippery shoes walking around, so it’s crucial to look for such a coating when choosing your exhibition carpet company in Dubai UAE . Carpet Shop Dubai is one the finest company to supply you high qualiy products of exhibition carpets in dubai.

What Are The Advantage And Disadvantages Of Carpet?
The main advantage of carpet is its longevity. It is made to last, and it will stand up to a lot of use without wearing out, so you will be able to get your money’s worth. On top of that, carpet can help make an area look classier and more professional. Another benefit is that it improves indoor air quality.
  How To Install Exhibition Carpets?
An exhibition carpet is an important way to display your company’s identity. When choosing an exhibition carpet, there are a number of factors you should consider. Exhibition carpets can last a long time if they are kept clean and away from heavy machinery. You should make sure that you have proper training on how to install and maintain your exhibition carpeting before installing it yourself. When looking at exhibition carpets, durability should be one of your main considerations as well as style. Finally, you will want to take care in choosing which type of exhibition carpet material to purchase since it may affect installation time.
Tumblr media
Best Exhibition Carpet Suppliers In Dubai
Exhibition carpets are a must-have for any exhibition, but it can be tricky choosing one when you’re not an expert. The carpet is generally thought of as one of a number of flooring options, with pros and cons to each option. For example, tiles are extremely hardwearing and can last anywhere from 10 to 15 years if they’re properly maintained, while wood is soft enough that people can walk on it without any shoes on. However, wood floors get very cold in winter and aren’t good if there’s lots of heavy traffic or high humidity involved (like near water). That said, carpets have their own set of considerations too—mainly where do you put them?
