well anon most people just haven't opened their eyes to the truth. I am simply picking up what the authors put down here (<-deranged).

SP is soo emotionally fucked up. he feels such an insane, confusing mix of hate and yearning and guilt about the alt-1863 round, all of which he projects onto 3rd, who is alt-1863 but not really (but SP couldn't handle accepting that).

alt-1863 who was supposed to be his sacrificial lamb and salvation, who he hates for leaving and making his own fate, bc that's not what he was supposed to do!! secretive plotter is the only one who knows the ending of the world, the only one who deserves to make decisions. its his burden to bear. he had a plan, he knows what's best for them all, and alt-1863 ruined it.

even though SP caused alt-1863 suffering, he justified it to himself bc he thought it would be worth it in the end, and that they would all be better off for it. well that didn't work, so now he's guilty and miserable for making the same mistake he made with 999 again, but this time he can do nothing about it. 1863 is completely beyond his reach, probably in wretched, broken misery and regret.

and SP wants to say that it is that idiots own fault and he deserves whatever is happening to him, but he could never be that cruel, and it's all so pointless. and really, it's secretive plotters fault for fucking up. so he searches for 1863.

He finds 3rd.

And 3rd is doing great, he's not miserable or regretfull, he has all his companions and one new one, he's doing better than any other round...

SP feels wronged. he was expecting to see 1863 suffer for disobeying him, learn that he was wrong, and then SP would have rescued him anyway. but this, him being happy, does that mean SP was the one who was wrong all this time?

he struggles to accept this and what it means the whole novel (pulling increasingly desperate stunts to prove himself right). there's guilt and shame and envy and anger and all of this makes SP act strange and overly familiar around 3rd yjh.

3rd round Yoo Joonghyuk knows none of this history.

He thinks SP is cringe and crazy and unreasonable. But he also can't help feeling this unwanted stab of pity and understanding, which he tries and fails to stamp out.

The climax of this relationship arc happens when they literally combine into one with Disconnected Film Theory. ultimate understanding and intimacy. metaphorical sex. but thats not their ending and would never be.

Later on, in the subway station, yoo joonghyuk vomits SP up venom style, because he still has his destiny to complete, and yjh has his own.

(then during the epilouge: meeting again. secretive plotter watching over yjh as always, calling him pitiful in a queercoded villain speaking to the hero way, as he rescues him saying this is definitely the last time. "I pray that we don't have to run into each other again, Yoo Joonghyuk." <-heLLO??? ALSO SP GIVING YJH HIS OUTER GOD KING POWERS.....TO PROTECT HIM AGAIN.........im ill)

i rly hate that in most orv fanfics kdj is portrayed as some poor little meow meow and yjh as some suave and sexy strong man. idk how anyone can look at kdj and not think he fucks!!! he has the biggest bde ive ever seen in a mc and yet people still think yjh is somehow a top?? hello??? the man who literally cant eat other peoples food because hes a picky little shit?? and who doesnt have enough self control not to immediately strangle someone on sight???? miss me with that shit -envy (smh) yjh anon

ah okay so. for a long time i just enjoyed random media that gave me serotonin since i didnt really have other hobbies and then in 2018 i discovered homestuck. now im not going to like explain it but basically once you read it theres no going back and nothing else will bring you as much enjoyment as you get from reading it the first time :/ so from then on ive been on a long and arduous journey trying to find something that comes close and so far ive found like a couple things and one of those is orv <3

games - undertale (best game ever), hades (its greek mythology and the mc is so good)

podcasts - penumbra podcast (space gays in love, found family and also lizard ot3), taz (balance comes closest to homestuck, its very good), wolf 359 (great story), zero hours (made me cry), tma (aaaaaaa) if you want more lmk

movies - legally blonde (its a classic), into the spiderverse and mitchells vs the machines, shrek and the old guard (im not that into movies lol)

shows - love death and robots (awooga the animation is so good), killing eve (hannibal for lesbians), good omens (idk its like a 6000 year old slowburn), pushing daisies (the costume designs are on point), what we do in the shadows (bi vampire himbos), and good cartoons like infinity train, gravity falls, owl house, hilda, kipo, shera, adventure time etc.

anime - i dont rly like anime as much but my all time faves are mob psycho 100, fmab and saiki k

since school ends rly soon for me (and i dont need to pay attention basically) ive been reading in almost every class so im on ch 490 or so (but i could have been done sooner if i werent so distracted by orv fanfics (yes i read the fanfics before i finish the main work what of it)) uhhh i dont really DO webtoons but the ones im reading are lore olympus (greek mythology got me like), muted (ayyy witch lesbian ot3), scoob and shag (RLY underrated), castle swimmer (gay fish my beloved) and lovebot (mostly reading cause its the same creator as muted). as you can tell i like gay rep thats not the main part of the story lol
