Oh yeah, I think I know what you're talking about. We usually describe it as the feeling that someone's getting closer to the front – you can sense them "approaching", so to speak, and you know they're gonna front, but the dissociation of switching hasn't hit you yet, if it does at all. It doesn't happen with rapid or quick switching for us, though – it typically happens when someone who was previously in co-con just kinda slides into control.

do any other systems get "pre-dissociation"?

we get this thing that isn't actually dissociation, it feels different than when we're dissociating or switching or anything of the sort, but it's just this feeling

i have no clue how to describe it other than this awareness that a switch is Imminent (it usually happens between 5-30 minutes before the actual switch, i've found)

(also it's usually followed up by MULTIPLE quick switches, not quite enough to be rapid switching but it's definitely More Than Normal)

is this like. a known thing? does anyone else know what i'm talking about?

When I found out that Eos's (full name being Eosphorus Dogmatiko) name shares a common root with the name Lucifer I will admit I got very excited, and while I haven't posted anything (yet) that came from that excitement, a certain view on the whole idea of Lucifer and falling can certainly be applied to Eos' own pre-plague/pre-game origins.

And also I super wanted to do something that looked kind of cool for once
