Mother Concern's innovative things will turn the tables for poor

Mother Concern NGO helps poor families in innovative ways. We try to serve with our best services to improve the life quality. Deprived families have very limited access to food and their other necessities. We help in the better survival of women and girls. Many single mothers are fighting to give a better life to their children. Mother Concern NGO help mothers by educating and providing food to their children. 

The Mother Concern NGO works with the vision to safeguard human rights. A world where they can equally take part in all aspects of their life decisions. We try to understand the problems and then work on a possible solution. We work in partnership with women at the local, and regional levels who share our goals. There are a lot of problems that are faced by mothers. That is why mothers are also called warriors. They are warriors for their children and their family. 

Helping mothers create health and hope for themselves and their families, and communities. We try to provide immediate solutions to their problems that help them in living. Volunteers of our NGO had helped many mothers in Delhi, U.P. and Meerut. Through our initiatives, we tackle the below-pointed things. 

What does Mother Concern NGO do?

Reduce maternal and child mortality in India

Prevention measures to reduce maternal and infant mortality help childbearing-aged women. This safeguards their newborns starting before conception and continuing through the postpartum period. We visit slums and aware people of this. The infant mortality rate for India in 2021 was 28.771 deaths per 1000 live births. 70% of districts (448 out of 640 districts) in India have reported MMR above 70 deaths. 

When we visit slums and aware people it increases the chance of health of new-born. India is also known as the country of young blood. We have more adults than the old people. When we take care of children from the very beginning it will help in economic growth. Not only this we provide health services to newborn babies. As we all understand that poor families have very limited resources and knowledge. We need to help both mother and child in getting a better life. 

Improve the health of women, their partners, and families

We distribute women's hygiene kits that contain various vitamin capsules, and sanitary pads. Most women in rural India do not accept that they need anything like this. This is not the same in every case some women do understand the importance but they are unable to access it. In most houses, women take care of their family's health. But if they are not healthy, they can’t suppose that she will take care of others. Improving women's health will improve the health of their partners and family. 

Promote universal access to reproductive health and family 

The quality of care in family planning is a must. This is a major focus area to ensure the success of a family and a country. Despite serious efforts, India has yet to achieve its family planning goals. There is a need for greater male participation both as enablers and beneficiaries. Government must ensure the prioritization of family planning in the national development agenda. Family planning is crucial for the achievement of sustainable development goals. 

Reduce stigma and discrimination

Many people speak badly about slum-dwellers. Words like untouchables, unhygienic, homeless, and hopeless are used for these families. Not only words but in many places, these families are not allowed to enter temples and good places. They get badly scrolled if they try to do so. Mother Concern NGO is trying to reduce this stigma by helping them in their growth. Everyone is equal in GOD's eye. We all are their creation and this is not our authority to treat someone differently. 

Promote gender equality

Gender Equality is very important if we want to look at a new face in India. This is not only a problem slum; this is a global problem. This is the main reason why many countries are lacking in improving their condition. Gender equality prevents violence against women and girls. It's essential for economic prosperity. Societies that value women and men as equal are safer and healthier. This is a human right and should be given to everyone. 

Support livelihood development for families and the community

Supporting families for their livelihood is the main concern of our NGO. Families that we support are financially very weak and hence need our support to grow. Mother Concern NGO supported families before, during, and after Covid. We try to make sure that will continue to support them like today forever.

Winning an award was not a big deal for me in my early years, actually, it was sort of an obligation and it was the least that was expected for me to do, so the value of them was ephemeral. But this amateur award means so much more than just that, it's a reminder, that after all, football keeps my world spinning because it makes me happy not only for the fun of playing also for the things that I love about the game like hard work as well as Team Work , FairPlay and dedication. I can say it's like an overcome of a huge injury that took me out of my balance completely, as it happened 20 years ago, it made me go back to old fears and big failures that change my perspective but now must important, made me get some consciousness to deal with unfinished issues from my past and it's been a hell of a fun road realizing that after all this time, I'm still a little girl loving her time with the ball without matter anything and always fulfilling my heart with joy and new friends. I don’t care if it's being a Goalkeeper or a Striker I love them both the same. My next piece on my collection of women's football jerseys its Rose Lavelle from @uswnt @lavellerose ;) She makes me remember how I felt when I was inspired by Mia Hamm. When I was younger I looked exactly like her on big man’s jerseys, playing football with boys, doing my homework about footballers that played in Europe. She also reminds me how enthusiastic I was when I played in Nike Cups and when I got a college scholarship to play football in the States. Lavalle is the type of player that supports all the dynamic on the mild field and put the team together. She is so accurate but at same time she plays a fluid game. She can be both defensive and offensive player that fights for every ball.
