threw these on reddit earlier, but thought i should finally post them on tumblr as well. photo collection of the two c!eret cosplays i brought to my local con and to the ren faire last year! people straight up thought i was cast member. click for more detail (she/him)

the starfell dress was a blast to make even tho it took FOREVER to sew all of those little beads onto the stars and body of the dress AND i had to frankenstein two patterns together. i had to frankenstein the patterns on the red banquet dress as well, but this set was more to show off how it looks/moves with the cage crinoline underneath hehe.

would you believe im a butch with a buzzcut under this. lady at the faire tried to sell me hair soap and i was like "oh i dont have a lot of hair" and she gave me this weird look before i was like "OH YEAH IM IN A WIG"

Here are the rules for this year! If you took part last year, please still take a moment to read through them as there are some updates.

I. GENERAL RULES

This event will be taking place from July 13th to July 19th. Each of the seven days of the event will have two prompts assigned to it;

You can choose which prompt to follow for the day, or you can also create a work that fits both of them;

You can choose whether to create content for all of the prompts or only some of them – there’s no minimum requirement of days to participate in;

Any type of fan content is allowed; the most popular forms are art and writing, but moodboards, web weaving, playlists etc. are also welcome!

Similarly, there’s no requirement for the quality/quantity of your work; e.g. there’s no minimum word count for your writing. Sketches, drabbles etc. are all welcome and appreciated!

When creating your work, we ask you to adhere to the boundaries cc!Eret has stated for themselves and their character;

NSFW content is not allowed;

You can add other characters to your work in addition to c!Eret;

This year, we're allowing works connected with any universe/setting Eret was a part of. This includes any servees she was a part of (Dream SMP, SMP Earth, Starfell SMP etc.), any games she's played on stream, and all the other things she appeared in that could count as their own universes/settings (e.g. music videos with a storyline). In short, we're focusing on what she has created rather than her personality as a creator;

We're aware the distinction between the character and the creator is not always absolutely clear. We ask you to use your best judgment in those cases and act in good faith;

AI-generated content is not allowed;

This event only accepts the content that was previously not published.

II. POSTING

When posting on Tumblr, use the hashtag #ceretweek2023 and tag this page so we can find your work and reblog it here;

Posting your work for this event on the other websites is allowed as long as it’s after you’ve posted it here. In this case mentioning this exchange and/or linking this blog is not required but would be very appreciated!

There is a collection on AO3 created for this event. It is currently closed and will open on July 13th. Please note that if you want us to reblog your work here, you should make a Tumblr post with a link to it even if you added it to the collection.

III. TIMELINE

The event will take place from July 13th to July 19th, 2023. The prompts will be revealed on May 30th, 2023;

The reblogging of content will start on the first day of the event. If you wish, you may post your works for the first day in advance but they won’t be reblogged until July 13th;

We ask you to only post your works earlier if absolutely necessary. We will still reblog your work if you do so, it’ll just be more in the spirit of the challenge if all the works for the day will be on the same prompt;

Late posting is acceptable! During the week you can post the works for the earlier dates and we’ll reblog it all the same (just indicate what prompt you created for). Additionally, we’ll reblog late works for a week after the last day of the event, so if you need it, you can post late submissions until July 25th;

This event operates on GMT time. Here is where you can see current GMT time.
