I never cared for New Years resolutions. Time has no meaning in the darkness. Day and night, weeks, months, years, it makes no difference when you have no one to share it. But now that Christine is in my life, time became precious and I need to manage it better.
List of details lost making this one smaller! I will be here
when you think you're all alone.
Seeping through the cracks,
I'm the poison in your bones.
My love is your disease.
I won't let it set you free
'til I break you.
“He barely brushed the keys, at first, the sound the barest pianissimo; the crickets and the waves; nighttime in Perros. Then, Christine’s gentle melody floating above the bass notes, his whole body engaged in moving his hands up and down the keyboard, the insistent waltz driving the composition. Again, his mind filled in the other orchestrations as he began to vocalize as he played, adding the soaring violin line before leaping to the cellos, then that oboe cry he loved.
His eyes closed, he didn’t see Rahim leaning towards him, his mouth agape as he eagerly took in the performance. Emotion welled in his core to the point he thought he might burst, and he found himself swaying from side to side in time with the waltz. Then, Christine was at the door with the children, and each of them took up a part to sing, Ashti’s small voice singing the woodwinds, Zana taking up the low strings, while Christine sang the second violin against Erik’s first.”

If you leave me tonight I'll wake up alone.
Don't tell me I will make it on my own.
Don't leave me tonight!
This heart of stone will sink 'til it dies
if you leave me tonight.
“That evening we did not say one word to each other… He took up a harp and began to sing Desdemona’s ‘Assisa piè d’un salice’ aria from Rossini’s Otello in his angel’s voice. The memory of it, which I had from having sung it myself, made me ashamed. There is a power in music which makes you forget everything outside those sounds which go straight to the heart. My appalling predicament was forgotten. There was only the Voice which lived once more. Entranced, I followed its harmonies wherever they led and became one of the flock of Orpheus! He took me through pain and pleasure, martyrdom, despair and joy to death and ecstatic, star-blessed love… I listened… He went on singing… He sang melodies unknown to me… He introduced me to a new kind of music which left me with strange feelings of calm, stillness and peace… music which raised up my soul, gently let it down and drew it into the land of dreams.”
This is the first of a series of videos I’m making for Instagram about my Phantom AU.
The first one is Erik’s point of view. Next will be Christine and Raoul.
Please, be patient, I’m not good at making videos but I wanted to try anyway. Piangi would call me an “Amateur” and he would be right.
If you want to see more petit Erik content please consider following me on Instagram. I’m way more active there, simply because I can’t fully understand how Tumblr works. 😂😂😂
Enjoy for now (sorry, I had to delete and repost this because there was an error in my previous post).
