stan twt is truly stupid. one moment everyone is praising taxi driver, and in the next ocassional kdrama watchers that are mainly kpop stans hop on twitter dot com and start bombarding the news tweet about td3 with qrts going 'nobody be watching that' or 'i'll get jehoon out of that damn taxi' while he's THE NO.1 FAN of taxi driver and that show was one of THE MOST SUCCESSFUL SERIES both domestically and internationally.
if you're that damn bored of it then DON'T WATCH IT. 'i also dropped s2' honey NO ONE CARES that's your decision. claiming he doesn't do any other project because he's 'too busy with taxi driver' is also a lie, at least you could have the decency to look up what projects he's working on rn... he is packed. and taxi driver s3 hasn't even started filming yet so what y'all be loud about again?
get the hell out of my face and leave the man out of your mouths.

so i've binge-rewatched taxi driver s1 and i might be controversial with what i say but it's THE superior season so far.
i don't trust people who prefer s2 over s1. lol.

saw some signal slandering posts in the tvn signal tag and i'm so freaking mad that these people think they've watched the same drama as me. no you have not and your stupid rhetorical questions and ice cold takes just only prove this!! go and watch it again, and this time try it from end-to-end without any distractions so you wouldn't say things like how it's anti-feminist to portray a woman being an unprofessional cop because she was crying over her lover-turned colleague's stab wound she thought might be deadly to him.

i'm serious when i'm asking: if all you do, as a foreigner watcher of kdramas, is trashing plots and write messy think-pieces on twitter dot com about the actors' and actresses' acting skills all the damn time, then why do you keep watching kdramas at all? you know it's not obligatory, right? you don't have to watch anything other than squid game or parasite just like everyone else did, you're allowed to say 'i don't like this' and walk away peacefully from the scene and not engage with kdramas further because you're obsessed with hate-watching.
kdramas and kmovies are not for everyone, at least you shouldn't spread lies because you have 2 shows and 1 actor you liked and a 100 else you hated. if you can't take kdramas and kmovies the way the writers, producers, directors AND ACTORS presented it to you then crawl back to your lil world and watch shows from your country. simple as that ❤️

ok, regarding the latest ask i got, let me just say this:
it's absolutely weird to endow female characters with characteristics and into plotlines they actually don't have. it's your ugly internalized misogyny, not your eagle eyes for badly written characters or poorly executed characters by 'untalented' actresses.
it's a you problem most of the time, sorry to deliver the bad news.

i'm sorry, but what

prison dogi (as in prison dogi in season 2) was when dogi truly hit ROCK BOTTOM?
haven't you saw him in season one when he questioned ceo jang's method punishing criminals then doing damage control on his own until he could chase down miss baek as he was drenched in blood and he even stole a police car to get that b*tch and put her in her place? despite hana and the northern district prosecutors already owning the situation?
prison dogi was only PLAYING in that prison compared to raging, you-almost-killed-my-found-family-members-in-season-1 dogi. prison dogi knew his family members were safe because they came up with a plan prior to it, prison dogi already figured out what's happening in there and could act according to that. most importantly: prison dogi knew he's not gonna die until he faces hajoon, and he can end him face-to-face anytime, so although he tried his best fighting a literal army alone, he knew it's going to work out eventually. it was us that didn't know until the clock striked that dogi ended hajoon an hour before he could realize it. he literally outsmarted hajoon and his plans destroying him and the rainbow crew.
prison dogi is NOTHING compared to raging dogi in season 1. i agree with the last sentence, jehoon did a wonderful portray of the emotion of downfall as prison dogi regardless. but it was definitely not when dogi truly hit rock bottom. it was when ceo jang was on the verge of losing an eye, go eun almost ended up as her sister, jin eon being between life and death and the direct cause of this mess was trying to escape before dogi could take revenge for almost destroying his family. it was not only his true rock bottom but the man was literally trying to hunt down miss baek while he laughed in hajoon's face as he tried breaking dogi with his ridiculous plan.

i truly hate those, who are spoiling every little detail on social medias about your fave who appears in a variety, because you wait for the english sub to fully understand the context, while these obsessed stans (who also doesn't speak korean) solely watch it for your fave's face the minute it comes out, read the room instead and cannot wait to be the first that post video or image snippets on their stan account that goes "omg so they've betrayed their team!!". all this without using tags or hashtags so you could block the content. like could y'all not?

people shipping madame choi with kim je ha, even in this day and age (the k2). people wishing k would've stayed with suyeol forever (bad and crazy). people rooting for dong eun to get do yeong laid out of spite (the glory). people seeing do gi and ha na developing attraction because they hate each other (taxi driver). when i say "media literacy is dead" and "people have f*cked up morals which they keep projecting onto random media that imitates the best how warped their ethics are" i mean it. unapologetically.

i've started watching fashion king, and there are two things i'd like to say after seeing 9 eps:
1. until this show i had no idea how much i need rich playboy jehoon (as jae hyuk here) in my life.
2. yeong gul (yoo ah in's character) is the biggest piece of crap and no one can convince me that he should end up with ga young (shin se kyung's character). no one.

ngl i had big doubts about move to heaven (because i'm not a fond of melodramas), and although it was sad because of the personal stories and struggles and overall theme... but it still had so many hope? and positive attitude towards life? and how you can move on from your pain? start again, be caring and loving again after you thought it's all over and you have to get use to being alone?
now i understand why this is an a+ drama. glad that i've given a chance to this gem.
