ik this had to have been such a massive W for the neurodivergent/autistic chicanos out there when this was announced
#i think it's so cool how manny a staple of iconic 2000s action cartoons was a brown autistic boy#i can't imagine how many other mexicans who likely felt similar to jorge getting diagnosed later in adulthood and who grew up w the show#having a sense of catharsis knowing the character they liked growing up was representing them all along :)#esp given how the conversation surrounding autism and/or neurodivergency in mexican community is still v much stigmatized#in part bc anything related to seeking out resources for mental health (depression anxiety ptsd etc)#anyways yeah we love to see it#el tigre#robi rambles
