#especially when Suicide Squad had much more egregious wig crimes

I have not seen suicide squad, but did Beyond really deserve an Oscar for hair and makeup when Spock's hair looks like... well, the way it does?

I don't have any problem with that wig though, and rest of Beyond has amazing prosthetics. Plus, they created 50 new aliens because Beyond was released on the 50th anniversary of star trek & covered Jeff Bezos in so many layers of prosthetics that you couldn't even tell it was him in the movie.
