looking for gifs and saw these four all together…
top two show him in love (with will) and bottom two show him kiddie crushing (on eddie). there’s a comfortableness and deep love in the first ones that the other two don’t have, which in place of show a giddy admiration. he looks up to eddie and he feels equal to will. such a subtle yet obvious difference! the quality of finn wolfhard’s acting everybody

the djats series did a lot of things to please (pun intended) me specifically sometimes entirely on accident but one of the funniest examples I just realized is Karen being the one doing backup vocals on Please because technically this supports my lesbian Karen agenda Billy wrote a song about wanting to fuck Daisy and Karen was like relatable I must be a participant in this project.

me and sister have been listening to musicals of dubious quality and I gotta say there sure is a difference between avant garde (honorific) and avant garde (derogatory). there’s this one song in this accountant murder afterlife musical where during a dinner party the song is like ‘look how many racial slurs we can say in 8 measures’ like. hm.

Do you think harry lost faith in soulmate-kind of love post taylor ? Most of his Taylor songs had a 'we are meant to be' element. If I could fly directly states it. He also used home imagery for her a lot of times. The winding wheel tweet on her bday also has a similar element. And it makes sense. She was his first love and it lasted 3 yrs(on-off).
But post-Taylor harry never used that for anyone else. While i think he loved both O and C none of the songs for them had 'I'm missing half of me' element despite the fact that he loved them very much.(in fact I was shocked by how little he wrote about o considering they were together for over a year when he finished it).if that's the case I really hope if he finds someone and restore that faith.(like Taylor found joe after twin flame heartbreak jake).
hmm, it's hard to say if it was any loss of faith or it was more a symptom of growing up and experiencing a collision of things. first loves can feel universe shifting, and idealistic, too. the way their paths crossed, the uncertainty of all of it, how it seemed like they were meant to keep coming back together for a while, and that span of time, probably all made that feel more acute. the love he describes on FL for C is more the faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly kind when i listen to it (also the fact that he seemed like the more invested party there), whereas there's a different sense of questioning and yearning in the earlier songs. that desire for closeness and communication as well, it runs through both of their music from that time. i think i might give up everything, just ask me to. pay attention, i hope that you listen, 'cause i let my guard down, right now i'm completely defenseless...
(i'm well-aware i write too many songs about you in falling gets to me because it seems like self-consciousness about overdoing that with her, and it makes me wonder if he felt he had written too much before too.) with O, while he wrote about the feeling of infatuation/euphoria, i wonder if any of what he touched on was what she might've been comfortable with? not in a way that censored him, but maybe there were things he didn't want to reveal too much about? agree he loved them very much, but creatively approached each situation differently. i hope he finds that lasting love and twin flame too, in whatever way he may want it.
