i fully believe avpm voldy would’ve been mortified to find out that ginny had found his diary (journal) from when he was an angsty 15 year old and started talking to it and it sicced the basilisk on a bunch of people and almost killed harry. by his own admission in avpm he doesn’t want to kill harry anymore, or anyone. avpsy for voldy is like the reformed supervillain equivalent of suddenly getting cancelled for something you tweeted like 15 years ago and don’t believe a word of anymore
