I've been holding onto these pictures for a while, but now that it's @vidramon 's birthday, I can finally share the crocheted Ham Shamwitch I made for her! This piggy is a bit wonky in places, but I'm so happy with how she turned out! I've had a lot of help from Vi and @explosiveforce since I started crocheting, and I could have never made something like this without them answering all of my little questions along the way, so thank you both❤️

A lot of time and adjustment went into this amigurumi, but I mostly went off of the following patterns if anyone wants to make their own: Pig / Hat

Agreed. I ended up relying on my Nargacugra and Pukei-Pukei more than Ratha.

Oh man same. Pukei was my party MVP, really. I think I very grudgingly replaced it near-endgame and my Nargacuga I only recently replaced when I got a Silverwind. Both of them put in hard work!!

I bought a dresser that turnd out to have the entire hard copy of someone's master thesis on the musculature of clams inside it, I tracked them down and asked if they wanted it back but they haven't answered, what do I do

The dragon Oltura from Monster Hunter Stories 2; remade from scratch as a World-style model.

Very tricky project; around 15 million polys and several 4k texture sets. Those wings are almost double the normal surface area of the monster; but I feel like this came out pretty well.

In retrospect I might have done something different with the weird angular teeth instead of following the original design; they seem really artificial.

I wouldn't survive in the MonHun world because I'd be one of those too enthusiastic for their own good monster researchers and end up as a grimy smear on a canyon wall because I was a little too insistent about studying a Black Diablos up close.
