are you referring to mildred's silver bachelorette? i suppose you are. well, he returned to his mansion in del sol, where he lives with his youngest (and vampire) daughter, katherine.

he is a patron of arts, that's mostly where he spends his fortune nowadays - he has even created a scholarship to support young and promising painters and sculptors.

leo has also been thinking how fun it would be to run his own silver bachelor challenge (inspired by samssims bc)... 😳😀

sorry it took me so long! but i wanted to put some thought on it and days have flown away. well, well, which harpers do i relate the most?

ulysses: he's the one who decided to live on a isolated island with a lighthouse with a household full of dogs. this was once my dream. to live on a lighthouse with only dogs and the sea for companions. ulysses reflects my tendency to be a loner who enjoys their own company too much and likes to dwelve into introspective thoughts, philosophies, ideas and ideals.

zelda: another loner! zelda reflects my need for liberty and independence. and also my uninterest (and fear?) in committing in relationships.

yvonne: yvonne is the rebel within me, i suppose. strongly moved by one's own ethics and values. not doomed to conform and not giving a damn to outside opinions about her or how she runs her life. and still, deeply committed to her family relationships, even when they fail her.

katherine: katherine is my loony side, i guess. not loony, bad choice of words, katherine reflects my head in the clouds, my wild imagination and my (very) childish side. and also the tendency to look odd to others because i don't exactly follow the social roles as expected. she's probably the spontaneous me in her best.

nathalia: she's the cynical me. the dark humour i tend to have and that sometimes creates the weirdest situations... the one who often laughs when it's not convenient (or proper). the one who shares unsolicited remarks that are said with irony but not always understood that way.

Are you named after anyone? Yes. Wuthering Height's main female character.

When was the last time you cried? Hum... I don't know. I don't cry often, anyway.

Do you have kids? No.

Do you use sarcasm? Not really. But I find it fun!

What's the first thing you notice about people? Their spontaneity.

What's your eye color? Blueish grey... I think...?

Scary movies or happy endings? Both! But I will probably go for scary movies, or scary thrillers and books, as they're my favourite.

Any special talents? My dad praises my imagination a lot. But yup, I consider myself a bit out of the box, creatively speaking. And I like to believe I am a good writer too.

Where were you born? Del Sol Valley.

What are your hobbies? Read and write. I really like to write fantasy books!

Have you any pets? No. But I wanna have a black cat if I ever be given a legacy of my own.

What sports do you play/have played? Oh no, no! Sports are not for me. Boo! Don't like it one bit.

How tall are you? Never thought of it. I don't think I'm tall, around 1.65m.

katherine is the kind of sim that while walking downtown with you will soon get behind because she got dazzled by a bookstore window and you'll only realize it because suddenly she stopped replying to your questions (even if her reply was just a uh-huh) - she's a very absent-minded sim!

katherine is a daddy's little girl. if you have something against her dad leo harper, better not mention it in front of her. just a friendly reminder, hehe!

katherine is a vampire sim! she's the result of a one-night-stand... leo didn't know that dedicated fan of him was an occult sim. oops!

katherine likes to dance on top of her bed. she's a cat power's fan and she'll sing loud and clear for everyone to listen. and she sings BADLY!! but she doesn't care because it comes from the heart, hihi!

katherine is too immersed in her own imaginary worlds to pay attention to mundane details and gossips and chitchat. she can be quite unsettling if you try to drag her into that kind of conversations...

How do your main characters take their coffee?

thank you for the ask :D okay... i'm listing all my heirs:

theresa, grace and virginia | espresso because they like it black and (super) strong.

ruth | turkish coffee, no sugar! because she thinks coffee tastes more natural that way.

isaura | decaffeinated because she loves coffee but she also needs every hour of sleep she can get.

ulysses and paris | cafe au lait (with too much sugar, some would argue) because they like to mix coffee and milk.

zelda | chicory (coffee) because has no caffeine and she likes its mild taste, she drinks it either with boiled water or boiled milk.

leonardo | cappuccino because he thinks it's chic.

heathcliff and katherine | do not drink coffee, prefer black tea.

Do you feel inspired for your story by TV series and movies? Have you incorporated any of these into your story, like a plot or a character?

it's not directly tv series/movies, but i seek inspiration for many of my sims in characters from books - basically, british victorian literature -, which have tv/movies adaptations.

many of my sims bios (usually spares) are based on some literature character. mostly because they don't have the support of the challenges goals to make up their personality; so i often recur to books i love to invent their personalities.

my occult legacy spin-off is entirely based on classic gothic books like wuthering heights, frankenstein, the picture of dorian gray - so, the legacy sims in this spin-off will be somewhat inspired by some of those books characters.

for anyone interested in my ramblings 😉:

charlie harper's character was entirely built to be emma woodhouse (emma, jane austen);

isaura harper had a bit of helen graham (the tenant of wildfell hall, anne bronte) in her character construction;

ulysses harper would be a sort of edward ferrars (sense and sensibility, jane austen) or a male version of fanny price (mansfield park, jane austen);

zelda harper has a lot of jo march (little women, louisa may alcott) and elizabeth bennet (pride and prejudice, jane austen) in her;

grace harper was inspired in marianne dashwood (sense and sensibility, jane austen);

leo harper was developed to become a less vain version of sir walter elliot, (persuasion, jane austen);

paris harper has some hints of pip (great expectations, charles dickens);

katherine harper is heavily inspired in catherine morland (northanger abbey, jane austen);

heathcliff harper is absolutely inspired in emily bronte's heathcliff (wuthering heights, emily bronte) but my clee-clee is not cruel;

stella harper was heavily influenced by mary datcher (night and day, virginia woolf).

and that's all i can think of now... i really loved this question!! 😊
