How about doing a wardrobe audit?!⠀ Put some music or your favorite podcast on in the background and dive in!⠀ ⠀ ** You can find the complete post on www.joana.style **⠀ ⠀ TIPS⠀ ⠀ When doing your wardrobe audit consider…⠀ 1) Your goal is having a wardrobe that represents your style and your lifestyle, so let go what isn’t working for you anymore and is just occupying space. ⠀ 2) Divide your “let it go” pile in 3: sell it, donate and recycle.⠀ 3) One of the decisive questions that I ask myself when I am not sure about if I should keep it or not is: did I wear it in the past 12 months?⠀ You can also use “the keep it or let it go decision maker” from my website. There you can get some help deciding in a fun way!⠀ 4) During the process put away the clothes which are out of season (take them out of your everyday wardrobe), leave only the clothes you wear or might wear (but you still love and see yourself wearing).⠀ ⠀ A reminder from my heart: be honest with yourself and with your piece of clothing! That means if you are not really using it because it isn’t your current style, size or you like but don’t really see yourself wearing it… let it go and make space for something you will really enjoy. Did anyone even care about the George stuff that was recently brought up? It wasn’t that different from what we knew and George probably doesn’t give a shit. Maybe there will be one paragraph of apology to save face. Most fans i saw where like ‘omg this is terrible he should apologise’ and than moved on anyway

Portsmouth Police Commission - Fact Checking Public Comments

During the Monday, June 5th Portsmouth, NH City Council Meeting, there were a few comments from Portsmouth resident, Mark Brighton, that required some fact checking. The Portsmouth Factivists have done just that. 

Mark Brighton (MB). Portsmouth Factivists (PF). 

MB Comments: Of the three proposals regarding the police commission, the most ridiculous is the abolition of the police commission. Concentrating that much power in the hands of any city manager is preposterous. And this has nothing to do with John Bohenko. I believe him to be a profoundly capable administrator. He can deal with the fire and police commissions, no doubt in my mind. As a matter of fact, throw in the school board - John Bohenko could handle that. Now given his recent medical history, John I don't think you'd make retirement to enjoy golf if we threw in the school board too. And I'd love to have you enjoy golf. This is a decision for the next seventy five to a hundred years, for the city. How many venal, corrupt, city managers will we have in that time period?

PF: Here Mark blurs the line between the city council and city manager. The amendment would give the city council authority over the PD.

MB: But by all means, put it on the ballot, please. I am laughing at the thought that any of you on this council, or any future council think that you can do better than the duly elected police commission. I have to only say two words to put the lie to that: Geraldine Webber. 

There are four of you up there now who had an opportunity to do something about that.

PF: He is referring to Assistant Mayor, Jim Splaine, Eric Spear, Brad Lown, and Chris Dwyer.

FACT:  The council has no authority over the police department nor does the city manager. By charter, the police commission is and was solely responsible for the police department and chief during the time that .

 MB: Only one of you took that opportunity.

PF: Here he gestures to Jim Splaine, who considers himself a "whistleblower" on the Geraldine Webber affair. There are some factual problems with that we can't get into here.

MB: The three others of you resisted. One of you even suggested settlement. If it were up to you, the prior police chief would still be in charge. 

FACT:  The city council never had the authority to fire the police chief. This rule change Mark Brighton is opposing would give them that authority.

MB: How is that better than the police commission? Please, please go on record supporting the abolishment of the police commission. Please do it. Please. I would love to go into the election with that hanging around your necks, you that want to run again. Please do it. Please.
