Pardon the back to back posting I just really wanna show these guys off and they’ve been sitting in the Queue for like a month

So me and my sister @fanstuffrantings have been rewatching Fairy Tail, and she’s doing a rewrite/redesign, and I sometimes chime in with an idea or two. But we were talking about OCs, and we both made a few.

First up is the Earth Dragon Slayer, Rock, and a member of Blue Pegasus.

He’s a fairly happy guy, quite detailed oriented. He loves caring for and dressing up Claudia, and this is made somewhat difficult by Claudia being slightly airheaded. She means well but she will often walk right into dangerous situations.

Another thing is Rock loves eating mud, and Claudia knows this, and she knows his favorite mud is the type made when it rains. A very common occurrence is her going outside during a crazy rainstorm trying to collect mud, and Rock without fail has to come pick her up before she’s carried away by the raging wind.

Next is Kane Reid AKA “Mad Dog”, he’s only recently picked up Celestial Magic, and he’s a member of Quattro Cerberus.

He hasn’t always been a Celestial Wizard he only became aware of it in the last few years when he came into contact with a key, and took an interest in learning about the magic. But he’s still in the transitional period, before celestial magic he mainly used enhancement magic items, since he prefers hand to hand combat.

He’d mainly use Gemini to duplicate himself, and basically tag team his opponent. Scutum is a mooring shield that can move freely around the wizards body, and protect points it senses are about to be attacked. And Kane found a Nikola because he thought it was going to be an actual dog, needless to say he was quite confused. But he loves his little guy, he’s names him Thrasher.I wasn’t able to show off his hair that well but its quite long,

I’ve definitely forgotten a few things about them but these are the main things I thought for them.

Fraxus Week Day 7 - Guildmates/Family

Kinda took the oppotunity to get some story/lore explained out for the AU.

Long story short, Golden Cutlass was Freed's first guild before he joined Fairy Tail. Unfortunately, Golden Cutlass was ambushed and overtaken causing the members and guild masters to flee, Eloise is the only one who Freed knows is alive as she reached out via a job posting encrypted via rune magic. She gave him this photo when they met.

Although Freed now found family with Fairy Tail and the Thunder Leigon and he's incredibly grateful for it, he can't help but think back to Golden Cutlass and the family he had there.

I might actually write a little something for this cause I feel it's leading in that direction.

so this is my fairy tail oc, Drelle Justine! I have had her since 2012, but recently rewrote her and redesigned her with a close friend of mine for our current fairy tail ocverse.

she’s Freed’s older sister, and the only daughter of the esteemed Justine family, a family from new wealth that gained their esteemed privilege by making a deal with an etherious from the library of zeref named Baccara- a demon who makes deals with unsuspecting people in exchange for whatever their heart desires but at their own fault, as whatever deal they make has terrible consequences.

the matriarch of the Justine family yearned for wealth and comfort after living in a small town ravaged by dark guilds. she made a deal with Baccara- in exchange for ownership over her future children, she wanted to live a comfortable and happy life, untouchable by dark guilds. She was willing to condemn her offspring to a fate worse than death in order to succeed.

After gaining her wealth and her estate, and without disclosing this deal to her eventual husband, the Justine matriarch has a daughter. Selfishly, and to the fault of her own greed, she thinks that her daughter Adrelleana would be taken by Baccara by her first birthday. But she was never taken by the etherious and began to manifest…other traits.

instead of being taken, Baccara put a curse upon any children born into the Justine lineage- they would be half etherious. Born of their demonic blood.

The matriarch was unable to tell her new husband of the deal, unashamed of her actions but knowing that he would leave her, so they had yet another child- a boy named Freed.

Both Drelle and Freed grew up with a relatively normal childhood— although an isolating one. Both were home schooled, and both grew up very sickly. often as children, they both broke into fevers and would have episodes where they would become weak and collapse. Their father was always so worried for their health and made the decision to keep them at the estate at all times.

while there, their mother discouraged education for the two, saying it was not a necessity for them to ever get jobs or hold any position other than in the family. this was to keep them on a tight leash and keep their minds suggestable.

Despite the illness, they had a good childhood. Freed took an interest in books anyway, and Drelle took an interest in playing around the estate and helping their staff where she could. She learned a lot of valuable skills from the staff and was interested in the life stories they would tell her. She got scolded one too many times for using the dumb waiter as a spot for hide and seek.

Freed took an interest in ancient languages and scripts. Drelle would study with him sometimes- but often time just bullied him for being smarter than her.

But one time- freed didn’t get better. so his father called for a specialist from the bureau of magical development against his mother’s request. the specialist came and looked at freed- he told his father everything was fine, but the specialist knew that there was something far more sinister going on with his son.

Freed was the vessel they were looking for.

So with careful planning, the specialist returned to his work, where he conversed with his ties in another circle- the dark cult building the secret final R-System off the coast of Fiore.

to activate the system, a vessel must be provided to merge with the lacrima and give a new body to zeref when he resurrects. A child’s mind is still moldable- and one with etherious in his blood would be compatible with zeref.

when freed was 7 and drelle was 9, their parents left on a work trip to the capital, leaving the two children in the care of staff. little did they know of the tragedy that would happen that night.

Drelle was helping one of the staff cook dinner in the basement kitchen that night when she heard the commotion. the kitchen staff recognized the destructive noises and knew the young lady and young master were in danger. they managed to lock the kitchen but as they were trying to bust down the door, the staff put Drelle in the dumbwaiter and sent her upstairs to her parents bedroom.

As she was going up, she heard the men ask where the boy was. Drelle realized they were looking for Freed.

Freed was there, scared and confused, awoken by the noises. Drelle hushed him and told him that it was going to be alright, they were going to have to be quiet but they were going to play hide and seek together. So Drelle locked his door and moved the front panel of his fire place. She covered her brother in soot and ash and gave him his favorite book. Drelle told him to stay behind the fire place panel and hide himself curled up against the back wall if anyone tried to move the panel.

Freed watched as Drelle cut her hair with a letter opener and began to dress in her brothers clothes. He gets upset and asks her what’s going on, and she tells him that this is a part of the game. He doesn’t believe her, but she hurries him towards the fire place and tries to get him to go inside. He begins to refuse to go inside, knowing there’s something dangerous she’s trying to hide him from.

Drelle is losing time, so she hits her brother so hard that he passes out. She didn’t want it to come to that, but he didn’t exactly make it easy on her.

She shoves his body and a book in the fire place, hoping that someone will find him when he wakes up. Drelle puts the panel back, making it look like nothing happened, before running across the hallway to Freed’s room. She got into his bed and pretended to be asleep when the men came and took her instead

By the time they got to the tower of heaven, it would be too late to figure out their mistake. No matter- Drelle had some etherious in her too, although only a little compared to her brother.

I’ll post more about her story soon, including her future wife and role in the overall fairy tail narrative :)
