I adore Moonrot in all forms and aus but them in last life specifically seems so domestic to me! So I drew Pearl gifting Cleo a coat!<333 (also inspired by whoever said last life takes place in the winter, it really does)

Ngl, I had never heard of/thought about shadowwood before, but they are very cute, so here is 441 words of them being cute together. I hope you enjoy! -

Martyn snuck his way into the fairyfort fairly late in the evening, checking his back to make sure he wasn’t being followed. Not that he had anything to hide, per say, but he’d rather not take the teasing that would come if he were caught.

“I was wondering when you would show up.” Lizzie’s voice sounded behind him far closer than he’d expected, causing him to jump. Lizzie giggles, and any temporary anger at her for scaring him goes out the window.

“Have I every told you that I love your laugh?” Martyn asks, what he’s sure is a dopey smile playing across his lip, “I could listen to it all day if you’d let me.”

Lizzie’s smile turns soft and a blush creeps it’s way up her cheeks, turning them pink enough to rival her hair. She takes his hand and tugs him towards the large patch of flowers in the center of her base.

“Flatterer,” She accuses jokingly, “What do you want?”

“An hour of your time?” Martyn replies, earnestly, “I’ve missed you.”

Lizzie just smiles at him again, tugging him to lay down among the grass and flowers, resting her head on his stomach and intertwining their fingers.

“Well I suppose that’s easy enough to give you. Come on, make up constellations with me.”

“Make them up?” Martyn pushes himself up some, just enough to see the crinkles by her eyes, “Aren’t there already a ton of those.”

“Well do you know any of them?”

Martyn goes quiet for a moment, laying back down without a word.

Lizzie laughs at him again.

“That one’s a flower.” Martyn says after she’s calmed down, hand raised to trace a grouping of stars directly above them, “And that there, next to it? A bee.”

“There’s a castle,” Lizzie gestures to a different group of stars, more to the right of them, “And a duckling!”

They go back and forth like this for a while, pointing out different overlapping shapes in the stars. Martyn can’t make out most of Lizzie’s, and he’s sure she has no clue what he means half the time, but they just let themselves have this moment of peace in the flowers.

Come morning they’ll wake up in a tangle of limbs. Lizzie will give him a small kiss and a shove out the door. Martyn will race back to the Southlands with grass and flowers in his hair. Maybe he’ll get teased for it, and maybe he will keep one of the flowers in his chest.

But for now they point out shapes in the void and ignore the world outside the circle of trees around them.

I am so sorry but I am not normal about how much limited life parallels last life.

For one: Scott vs Martyn's win, I have talked about it in depth in other posts but yeah one is of betrayal and the other is of loyalty

Also though I the end there really wasn't group wide betrayals. Unlike Fairyfort or the Southlands everyone was extremely loyal to each other

I also love the contrast of how people deal with the boogyman, in last life it was a CURSE and having it was inconvenient, but here, especially at the end, it was wanted.

Also boogyman became more strategic rather than kill the first person you saw. In last life you didn't tell anyone about being boogyman, rather in limited life you tell at least everyone in your group + allies if you're especially close

with the frog (prince) bigb in mind im really leaning toward like. man who was from a fairytale/just Every Fairy Tale got shoved into a death game and hes doing his best man 👍between being part of the sort of kingdom [red army] the fairytale fort [fairyfort], ren again [ren :] though this one is also a little bit. hes w ren for soulbound reasons] and then frog prince in the tower [nosy neighbors]

i dunno. hes like a fairytale guy 2 me

3. What is your go to pov for the Life Series?

Third life I didn’t watch as it was going but I went to grian first as he’s the creator.

Last life I would wake up and go straight to Ren’s pov and then Lizzie or grian.

Double life I would go to Ren BUT about ep 3 I found out that Cleo and Pearl would upload before I went to bed so from here on out I would watch either of them first. All depends who uploaded first.

35. Is there one person you just can't be normal about?

Ren. Every god damn season he is in season. Red king man. He was viewed to be bloodthirsty but god if you saw the “there’s blood in me eyes!” You will understand. Double life when it comes to the secret soulmates no one was crazy about how Ren is with it. My dog…

AND LAST LIFE! He started out alone but was brought into the fairyfort, they weren’t going to let him be alone. He was kicked from the greens when pearl boogie killed him but he isn’t a bloodthirsty red like Joel and Grian. “I don’t want to kill anyone” he says in the final four. And then he is brought back with his original group once more of them were red. And my god am I not over him almost winning last life. He was so close dude! Out of all of the second place winners people brush him aside. But the pro from that is that no one is bitchy about him not winning (cough cough limited life and secret life fans for two certain ccs cough cough) Ren had the saddest death as a second place winner. Scar was defeated by his ally but they agreed it was a double win and there’s no one else scar would have wanted to die to. Scott sacrificed himself for pearl after all of their strife in double life. Impulse’s death was quick and sudden but not sad, a member of TIES made it to the final three and that’s all that was needed. Pearl’s death wasn’t sad it was the deaths before her but she was glad to fight scar to the death.

Ren? His death was caused by a zombie via Scott stalling it through a potion of weakness and many, many arrows. It was a battle royal, there was no glory. His death was forgotten and tossed aside. I will never be not crazy over that.

AND I MISS MY DOG MAN NO LIMITED LIFE AND ONE EP FOR SECRET LIFE ;A;

I think the only other person who I am currently crazy about is Scar because oh boy that was a well deserved win.
