I hardly ever post my Faith Warrior by The Happy Planner. This month my family is reading the Book of Joshua. Last night I spent about two hours on the phone with my momma talking about the faith of Joshua and Caleb it was awesome. This is a picture of last week's studies. Real simple and to the point. My 2020 resolution is to be better. Better in all aspects of my life and better in serving others. As part of that goal, I am embarking on a new journey: a journey of faith. For those of you that really know me, you know that I have never really been a faithful person. In fact, I would even say that I struggled with the idea of faith and God and a lot of that had to do with my internal struggles of losing my parents. God was never a part of my daily life growing up. My parents were firm believers in letting me find my own path, but reminding me that God was there when I needed him. But, growing up... I didn't think I needed Him. And when I lost my father and I needed Him most, I let the enemy cloud my thoughts and negative thinking spiraled into a belief that He must not exist. And for many years I felt that belief. I embraced it. I was not a believer and it showed. When 2019 hit, my mind, body and soul were lacking something. I didnt know what, but I could feel it. And then @marykayus came into my life and I felt that I was on the right path, but there was still something missing. And then I went to Seminar. This was a huge awakening for me. I was surrounded by so many amazing women with such strong faith. They poured their knowledge, wisdom and faith into me and it is like a light just took over my body and told me that this was it. It was the faith that I was missing. And when that light began to shine... oh boy was it powerful. That trip was such an emotional and enlightening trip for me. And I began to toy with the idea that God is real, and all my struggles and hardships were created by Him to guide me to my destiny. I always believed that things happen for a reason, but that belief is hard when the thing is so devastating that it is impossible to imagine the reason.
