One of my favorite games now has a Steam Page! So now you are going to hear about it

Familiars.io is a fun (and free) Monster Tamer (think Pokémon, Digimon, etc.) that has some funny and funky little creatures, and some fun battle gameplay that I quite enjoy myself

The Steam page explains things better than I can, but I do quite enjoy this game (and have been playing it for years lel) and would love it if you guys enjoy it as well! :D

I’m pretty sure I’ve had several dreams about Familiars.io within the past few months, but this is the first time I’ve ever heard about this game, or played it, so this game already starts out on a high note by having apparent supernatural qualities.

I also like that you can select a player character that’s not a human. I know that sounds weird, but I really look forward to that in games, which is why it kills me when so many of them nowadays don’t freaking allow it.

i did try familiars . io cause i saw an article about it and then saw it on twitter, but i only played it for like 5 minutes cause I accidentally clicked on a different part of the tweet and got my progressed wiped. I’d like to try playing it for a bit longer and give a full review/posg about my thoughts on it sometime. from what i played, though, i liked the familiar designs and I liked the combat system. it’s interesting how the game tells you how much damage your attacks will do outright, but then still has elements of surprise and strategy by throwing in type match-ups.

Played some familiars.io today... Fun little game. Works like pokemon but your familiars will perish if they lose, and you have to rely on finding items on the map, there's no poke centre
