Welcome back to the Fic List, everybody! This...is not the new episode you’ve been waiting for, lol. It’s our panel! From FanExpo Boston 2022! Where we espoused the many virtues of fanfiction to an expo floor full of people who were mostly just looking for somewhere to sit down! And that’s fine, tbh. We get it. We still had fun, even if we were gently heckled by middle schoolers. Enjoy!

I've been brainstorming for a cosplay for FanExpo Boston 2022, and as of now, I've narrowed it down to three options. Mainly because I don't want to spend loads of money on a costume and I want to do some work on it (a bit more than what I did for Jiro).

So, which one will it be?

1. Coraline Jones (Coraline 2009)

This was who I wanted to be back in 2020 before the convention was cancelled due to the coronavirus. Since then, I've had a few more ideas come up (including Jiro for last year's cosplay), so I'm on the fence for Coraline. The look that I want to create would be her blue sweater with the stars. I'd have to buy a dragonfly clip off of Amazon (and maybe a new blue wig), as well as materials to make the sweater and bonus button eye glasses.

2. Hanako-kun (Toilet bound Hanako-kun)

Another idea that's been floating my head for a while and I wouldn't mind cosplaying as a male character once more. I will have to buy his hat and dagger, and then find something for his black uniform top and the seal on his cheek. I already have black pants and shoes to easily use, so that'll save me some dollars from buying his complete outfit. Also, I have a friend who's hoping to go and thinking about dressing as Yashiro.

3. Kiki (Kiki's Delivery Service)

I have previously dressed up as characters who are much younger than me (though I keep it appropriate), but Kiki is yet another fun one to do. I'd have to buy almost everything like I did for my Wirt cosplay, but I think it'd be another look I can pull off. Also, I might also buy a Jiji plush to carry around with me, and I might also commit to adding a broom.

So this is what I've been thinking about, because I know these would be fun to make, put together with a little bit of work, and also be cheap too. I'll update once I've made my final decision, but with these three, it's not gonna be easy! 😅

David: I never did get to meet him [Terry Pratchett] unfortunately, no, but he's heavily featured in, obviously, his work was on every page of Good Omens 1, but there's more of him in Good Omens 2 that you might expect. And in times he's even... almost in the scene. But I won't say any more than that.

More Terry Pratchett easter eggs and who knows what in Season 2 ❤ :).
