I know they 'had' to shove Nancy and Tristan together for plot reasons - especially to drive in the soulmates idea so they could pull the twist - but the potential George and Tristan had is soooo there. Everyone would see my vision if they had more than 0.0000003 seconds of screen time together. The chemistry 😩

4x10 and 4x13 just would have been TOO good with Tristan/George. Like George scared of losing Tristan, but also having 2x05 behind her when she DID die. On top of that, the sin eater / previously possessed by a French woman and having a shortened life because of that parallel of it all. Bonus points if they haven't really acted on their feelings yet, so MAXIMUM angst. And then also, by 4x13 you can have Nancy, Ace, Tristan, AND George upset at the idea of Nancy/Tristan being soulmates.
