the biggest difference for beastmen in pathodun is that they can grow into their forms; notkin is familiar enough with his body and form that he sees his werecat form as an extension of his human body. there’s smth here abt beastmen fighting rings but i haven’t figured it out.

artemy had already adopted sticky and murky before he set out into the dungeons, but he received a letter from his father telling him to head deeper into the dungeons, which artemy ended up doing. unfortunately, he forgot to tell his children, which is as much morally-grey parenting as i’m willing to write lol.

Thinking about the Stillwater being described as "a guest house for outsiders" and how. Well it doesn't strike me that this happens particularly often, and wondering who was the last person to stay there... And I'm bad with the timelines but I'm thinking, maybe the Stamatins? On their first night(s) in town, before Andrey took over the pub and Peter got his studio? Peter sleeping upstairs (he likes to be on the top floor) (also we love Peter - Daniil parallels here) and Andrey taking Eva's offer if she invited him into her bed as well (she would) (we know they had a relationship). Additionally, for the Farkhad fans out there, he's not even dead yet and the twins are already haunted by him (via the house he built that messes with your mind, if we take p2 lore). Yeah I'll have that as my headcanon

as much as eva's suicide impacts me and how much it grips me and how much i think about it and love to go over her character with the lenses that this is (one of) her end(s) i cannot help but like. smile a little in an evil and ironic way when it is farkhad's cathedral she ends up throwing her soul into. farkhad's cathedral she chooses as a vessel for her soul to light. imagine being andrey and this guy, who you had a weird toxic gay unconsummated thing with going on, who your brother had a weirder gay unconsummated thing with going on (because your brother does not quite do the consumption in the way you do but he's inclined to the weirder ways to do it), who you killed out of artistic differences, artistic jealousy, an all-consuming desire to protect yourself and your brother as this man('s creations) threatened your existence(s) (through threatening your own artistic works), and you believed killing him would keep you and your loved ones safe, ends up stealing your girl away from you because his stuff is just that good. he doesn't even fw women like that so he wouldn't want your woman in any other way his stuff is just that powerful. i'd dig him out and kill him again. why's that grave empty

farkhad lore [to me] you know how in like looney toons or goofy cartoons in general the villain can kiII the sweet character like tear them to shreds to pieces but the sweet character still will prevail because of their whimsy & silliness in funny ways. this is happening between the twins and farkhad to me. except he is as sweet as battery acid as hard to chew as bone and from 3500BCE.

farkhad appears (well. "appears" he's dead but you know it doesn't stop him) in the peterstakh fic i'm writing so i'm rotating him & i'm seeing it. writing down some #visions so i never forget

never sits symmetrically. [purposeful contrast to andrey's Squared The Fuck Up sitting position] leans on one side. legs crossed, often. he sits oblique, taking as much space on the chair as he can, either "blocking" his body off with his leg or "opening up" depending on how much he #playin

still Movie Of The Mind: he is always center of frame. even as he moves, the camera has him in its middle: less "trapping" him there, and more like he is pulling it along... "all eyes on me"...

Grace learning to paint from Peter and painting very pretty serene landscapes and like flowers and horses and rabbits and puppies and kittens. But then also painting the scariest looking man you’ve ever seen and being like “this is my friend Johnathan he used to tell my stories about being a candlemaker :)”

You get it literally you do... as she gets better she gets to draw actual faces and in my mind's eye she ends up drawing Farkhad like How He Ended Up Down There covered in blood and with a Suspiciously Twyrine Bottle-Shape Strike Mark Having Caved Some Of His Skull In its normal for Grace but Peter's like. Not afraid because he helped bury him. He's like Babygirl can you make sure you don't show this to Saburov. No reason.

i think i've said it before but something i see in my mind's eye is that. for comparison take burakhovsky; at any other time in any other place they'd have hated each other. hissed at each other. wouldn't have been able to stand each other. fundamentally disagreed. and tbf they did some of that, for a while, back and forth, ebbing, but grew to understand each other, to consider each other as valuable both as assets and as people, and we all know how i think it ended. well farkhad & the twins at any other time in any other place… could have been buddies. maybe they'd have disagreed with each other, fundamentally, but was there not the town, the tower, the construction of a vessel that brushes immortality, they could have been buddies. they could have seen each other as valuable beyond their disagreement. they could have gone "you're so funny" and gotten a philosopher's drink together. in the same way the circumstances of the town made it so burakhovsky came to be inseparable, right hand left hand, came to tolerate each other (and to. well giggle), it's the circumstances of the town that made it so the twins and farkhad came to be the very exact opposite of inseparable; unable to even exist within a same realm, came to so fundamentally disagree (on one hand) with the other's very existence as a threat to the self's (and to. well giggle [evil this time]).

Hey Grigri it’s deeply important to me that I share this with you. Anyway. Yesterday I got violently high, as one does, and found your post where you talk about Daniil being the third Stamatwin. (Fucking excellent post btw) It gave me THE most galaxy brained takes, but most importantly, led to me texting my twin brother “we gotta find the third twin and Eat him” with no context. So, in some small way, you played a part in the ongoing ordeal of terrorizing my brother.

this easily goes in the top 5 most powerful asks i've received i am choking with laughter. now that's the spirit. now THAT'S the spirit. and you know what since you liked it that much i'll add:

had andrey and peter eaten one of each other in the womb they'd have been fine. they'd have lived. you know that bad david cage game where a character has like a dead twin(? it's been a while since i heard of it) living in their mind and that dead mental twin can do telekinesis and shit. that would happen to them. and they'd be fine with it no like anguish or anything. in fact that would probably have been better for them. right. so they'd be fine. consumption is fine for them. as i've mentioned it's either consumption (not. literally. not in a cannibal way. i mean it as in like a... subsuming way. covering way. melding the person in their lives until all three are intertwined. as i've said: andrey's Threefold Bullet line, SO I AM YOU! etc) or elimination (they wouldn't Consume farkhad. he was like a bone in their throat. he was too tough to chew. so the other option...)

right? consuming farkhad they think would have given them balance. continuation. the bridge between the two of them. but he wasn't that. he was a thorn in their side instead of a bridge of flesh. they feel like they are/(should have been born) conjoined, and that third half is the bridge of flesh to bind them. and dankovsky. he does that, know? in a way he does. by his ending "Keep a close eye on Peter. You'd become desperate and turn into a villain without him" / "Hold Andrey's hand—or he may do something bad…" right. they're mental_asylum_pov_tiktok.mp4 about it.

they gotta eat him. it's a missing-piece trinity. the binding agent. digestive juice. you gotta eat him. it's the only way. what if they were hungry... would you keep food out of their mouths? would you starve them? look at this fucking thing.
