I always love more variety in my game, and I love the conversion of The Sims careers to The Sims 2 by LientebollemeiS2I. I wanted to make them more integrated though, so with the permission of LientebollemeiS2I, here are my amendment's to these careers to include:
Chance cards (for every level)
Different career levels (since some of the levels match other careers)
Connection to University Majors
LifeTime wants! The only things they don't have are specific career rewards and Wants that will roll in the Wants and Fears panel.

There are four files per career (eg. AdultCareer_AnimalCare, AdultCareer_AnimalCare_Conditions, AdultCareer_AnimalCare_LTW and TeenElderCareer_AnimalCare).
All four files are required and can just be put straight into your downloads folder.
You will notice some of the above career levels do not match the original careers. Some of the levels are already represented in other careers in the game, so I decided to swap some around and include some new jobs.
These files have new GUID numbers, so they should not conflict with other downloads, even the original versions of these careers.
The Lifetime Wants are also compatible with @lamare-sims 50 New Lifetime Wants for Sims 2: https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=669675

Contemporary Designer Research:
Sidahmed Alphadi Seidnaly!
Alphadi is a notable Nigerian fashion designer often known as the "Magician of the Desert".
Alphadi started his label in 1984 and his first haute couture line was released in 1985 at the Paris International Tourism Tradeshow. He uses his designs to showcase and celebrate the beauty of the African continent, its rich histories and cultures. He is for the fashion and culture extravaganza. He is the founder of the Festival International de la Mode Africaine (International Festival of African Fashion) or FIMA, supported by UNESCO (1998).
Alphadi's work draws upon cultures and design practices from across the continent. Kuba cloth – originating from the ancient Kuba kingdom of central Africa, Kuba is a common feature in his collections. It is made from woven raffia, with the intricate decoration achieved through cut-pile embroidery. Designs are stitched onto the cloth and then raffia fibre is drawn through with a needle and snipped with a knife to make a dense pile, creating a plush, velvet-like effect.
This dress was created as a homage to Tuareg jewellers and their historic metalwork practices. Inspired by the strength of women, the metal breastplate represents the woman as a warrior, the harsh metal contrasting with a billowing layer of printed cotton cloth.
Using a strip of Téra-Téra cloth on the jacket, Alphadi updates this classic skirt suit. A handwoven fabric traditionally made in Tera, Niger, this vibrant cloth is used historically to cover brides on their wedding day. Alphadi references this history, creating a design to represent a strong woman, fully independent and dynamic, pursuing her dreams.
From hats to waistcoats, Alphadi is regularly seen wearing his own designs. He often wears a shallow, rounded hat decorated with embroidery – a style which is popular in many regions in Africa – known variously as the hula, fílá or kofi.

I love everything about his design. Even though the inspiration was drawn from traditional wear, they look absolutely modern. I think he is a creative and very good designer. His designs looks like the innovation of our African attires.

Project Captis
Project Captis is an Adobe partnership that was unveiled during the software company’s annual tradeshow, Adobe MAX, in October. It has a tabletop space capsule-like appearance and a modular structure that resembles a pyramid that houses a mini-light studio. As St. John puts it, “It’s like a disco for ants.” In order to create a comprehensive data set of physically-based rendering (PBR) maps that capture an absurd amount of detail, such as opacity, depth, shininess, and roughness, it takes numerous pictures of an object positioned inside or underneath it. After that, the files can be worked with using modelling and design programs.
According to St. John, “Project Captis is not about a box; rather, it’s about the opportunity to digitise all materials everywhere for manufacturing and visualisation.” Our goal with Project Captis is to establish a new benchmark for digital materials.
It’s not just an engineering marvel that this device can do this; its lightweight plastic layers snap apart to form a scaled, sort of Ninja Turtle shell that can be worn as a backpack. It also portends our future direction: The Fourth Industrial Revolution is an enormous economic revolution that will change how goods and services are created, produced, and shipped for global distribution. Digital technologies like 3D printing and scanning will play a major role in this revolution.
Although 3D scanning has been around for a while, St. John claims that without extensive post-processing, the data obtained from it isn’t really valuable. When used in conjunction with Adobe 3D’s Substance program, Project Captis can simplify the process of converting tangible materials into digital textures that seamlessly integrate into current workflows. It can help in manufacturing by providing precise measurements and possibly even helping with reverse engineering.
2D to 3D conversion and vice versa
Almost anything that is now designed using CAD or 3D modelling software might benefit from Project Captis.
By providing individuals with the ability to bring their creations to life through 3D renderings of actual materials, Project Captis is also perceived as elevating the tools at the disposal of professional creators, including architects, textile designers, and animators.
Today, for example, denim fabric is chemically treated to obtain a specific effect before swatches are made in order to design a stylish pair of jeans. These swatches are used by designers to assist them in producing clothing in the desired hues. The manufacturer receives the specs so that samples can be produced.
With the use of programs like Adobe software, Z by HP Workstations, and Project Captis, the entire process can be reduced to a set of digital procedures. According to St. John, “you’re basically using 3D materials capture to do the pre-visualization.” It significantly reduces both the speed to market and prototyping costs. Additionally, it has an effect on the environment because it can cut down on waste and transportation.

Hi, I’m Ami. Retail buyer turned business consultant, passionate about product and obsessed with teaching retail product brands the BIG business skills to start, grow and scale.
My corporate buying career spans almost 18 years and during that time I have been responsible for building, launching and successfully growing high street retail brands – It literally sucks when I think about how much time I’ve spent making £millions for someone else – but we won’t talk about my blood-sucking career here, and of course, it goes without saying that I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for my experience!  
I left my corporate career in 2015 to embark on my own entrepreneurial journey and launched a niche fashion brand.  I found myself spending A LOT of time collaborating with wonderful fellow small businesses, whom I naturally shared my retail experience with and found myself giving regular advice…after all, retail was my ‘thing’ and so, of course, they saw me as a bit of an expert!
