I think the idea was that they’re at a meeting or doing training, and Tartaglia sees something and then goes after it so fast he gets blurry haha. Looking back at this, my style just keeps on getting more simplified huh

I'm a hater (and no disrespect ofc) but when people changes dilucs age I just go ???? It's literally engraved in his character that he's a young man who just turned an adult and lost his father and got estranged to his brother and explored the world and killed.. A lot of people, and now he's home and trying to adjust to being an adult and not having the life he imagined / before his dad died.

he like Jean, kaeya and eula etc are all young adults ruling a city on their own, that's like. A huge plot point in mondstadt. I just. Don't get why you would change that?? That's not diluc that's your diluc and not how it is in canon.

Idk I get changing the story for your own way but like. idk feels like your taking a big key part of his character (which, I'm not wrong) bc that's how he is in canon

idk it doesn't matter tbh I'm just saying like "what's the point, I don't get it, that's no longer diluc (to me) since your taking such a huge plot point of his character away"

It's really neat. A bit sad when considering the Fatui's whole Thing about ends justify the means and a mess of complications, but their dynamics can also be very, VERY hilarious to watch unfold

- Childe does not go home to Snezh because by the time he was finally able to communicate w/ the knights (language barrier) he was around enough to see how people reacted to his behavior and felt that his family wouldn’t want him around like that

- Kaeya was forced to take the title of heir of Dawn Winery as the adopted son, bc he’s basically the “Last Ragnvindr”

au where childe meets bennett and after less than a day decided to join bennys adventure team and takes bennett to all his business trips as a toy seller because childe sees bennett like teucer and wants to protect him from all the evils

aka i demand a childe big bro agenda where he just essentially adopts bennett as one of his siblings

bennett prob finds out or knew that child was fatui, maybe not a harbinger, but he let childe think he didnt know

razor doesnt trust childe but seeing he treats bennett and even him with only the best in mind and with a bunch of care, he slowly warms up to him and childe just adds another to his collection of honorary siblings

childe finds it amusing how much the two stick close and are comfortable that he teases them about it

diluc has been more on alert because of childe being in mondstadt more often, even used his networks to make sure that bennett and razor werent in any immediate danger and while bennett vouches for childe to diluc, diluc still keeps an eye out but has for the most part let him be

there have been many encounters between them tho and childe will sometimes want to egg on diluc just for a fight

luckily kaeya is there to quite literally cool things down

then when childe meets fischl, listen, she reminds him a lot of tonia in many ways and indulges in the rp happily. he sees it as being back home and playing his role as the knight to protect his princess, and while the princess this time isnt his lil sister tonia, he plays along wholeheartedly

i just really need some childe and bennett being bros and childe murdering having a conversation with people who were mean to benito <3

Unpopular opinion I guess, but I don’t really think Crepus ever actually adopted Kaeya. I think it was more of a wardship situation, especially since crepus was a noble and a very successful businessman. With him thinking that Kaeya being left close to the winery in a storm with the hope that he’d be taken in is very likely some sort of inheritance scheme, he’d be wary of actually adopting Kaeya, and therefore making Kaeya his sole inheritor if Diluc and him “mysteriously” die.

Plus, from what little we know of crepus in canon, mainly the fact that he has a delusion and therefore ties to the Fatui, he likely isn’t the saint a lot of people like to make him out to be. Sure, he’s willing to take in Kaeya, but he also took in elzer and adelinde, so there’s a distinct possibility he originally meant Kaeya to be more of a servant that a son.

Also I really like this theory in a crepus!Lives au because:

Kaeya: I need to tell you something, please don’t be mad

Crepus: I know, don’t worry

Kaeya: ??? You know I’m a Khaenri’an spy ???

Crepus: I thought you were an inheritance scam???

Not gonna lie, i had a thought about the sibling au and it won’t leave my mind. Like imagine for a sec if childe ever met with diluc and kaeya (because the idea of original vs found family makes me feel emotional) like reader either a) runs to childe after the mondstat conflict again emotionally drained or hurt (doesn’t matter in particular) and childe is ready to go to mondstat to raise hell or b) childe and the reader see diluc and kaeya and the reader just clings to childe and calls him their big brother (i just keep imagining childe being smug as hell about it) and watching diluc and kaeya pale as the one of the fatui harbingers took their spot as big brothers and they don’t have a good argument to say how they are better brothers

Childe raising hell for adopted younger sibling is clearly canon. He'd stop at nothing to make them feel better, whether it takes money, comfort food cooked by none other than himself, or some extra violence while they're not looking.

I'm sure he'd take up the role of guardian devil angel as soon as he sees them covered in mud and trembling in Dottore's coat like a lost puppy, but when he finds out about their past? He's not "paying a visit" to Mond only because they begged him to let it be. He's livid, whoever treats their loved ones like this is not family.

So, instead of doing his own justice, Childe focuses on giving reader everything they had lost. Asks for their custody (would fistfight a horde of Dottore clones if needed), helps them become stronger and confident, but most importantly tries to keep them as far as possible from Mondstadt until they're ready to go back.

If they end up there because of a mission he can't change, he'll be both anxious cause duh, they're not completely ready on a psychological level, but also kind of thrilled to see if they'll make use of his teachings and yeah, take some good revenge.

And if he's assigned to that mission as well? F for Diluc and Kaeya cause he's about to destroy them with a mere easygoing smile and some passive aggressive words. "Oh, so you're y/n's old brothers? I've heard a lot about you two. Whether it was good or bad things is up to your conscience imagination ahah."

He'll keep a protective arm around your shoulders, tightening the grip as he notices Diluc borderline having and aneurysm, and go on nonchalantly "Well, we'll go now, promised my little sibling here a good meal after this long journey."

And that's it, enjoy your permanence in the city of Freedom where you've never felt more free than now, with this absolute menace by your side.

MONDSTADT

Honestly? Mondstadt will be the safest, anyone with my friendship levels would absolutely prefer to stay here. Why? Well let me tell you.

First of all, we have the wallet- I can absolutely see Diluc (F-Level 10) giving me all the mora ever needed. A place to stay (i.e. Dawn Winery), and like absolute protection. He can probably be the ticket to getting to Liyue as well. Sure, it might be hard to get to him in the first place, but I also have something to help with that.

Kaeya (F-Level 9), the adoptive brother of the red-haired emo. One way or the other, Kaeya would probably introduce me to his brother for my safety. Since, well, Diluc has the money and the power.

And no, I'm not finished. You need information on something? Lisa (F-level 10) will be there. Ever get hurt, whether accidentally or caused by someone else? Do not worry, Barbara (F-level 10) will cheer you up and sing you a song!

Honestly, the figures of Mondstadt might as well be almost immune from the impostor ideas. With Diluc, Lisa, and Barbara around, people like Jean, although F-level 1, could probably be convinced. Venti could also be bribed by wine too, so...

Plus points if Lisa can talk to Albedo about it. That doesn't seem too far-fetched considering Sucrose (F-level 6) will be there to help a little.

LIYUE

I don't know how to tell me this, but I am screwed. Like. Super screwed, no one can believe this is this bad.

I'm not kidding. The highest happens to be Childe (F-level 6), and he isn't even from Liyue. A Fatui harbinger. And a 6. That's not enough.

Second in Liyue we have Chongyun (F-level 5) and Hu Tao (F-level 4), both of which are probably only available if you meet them by accident. I wasn't lying when I said I was screwed. Still screwed, actually.

Zhongli is a uhhh.... uh.... a rough topic..... let's just hope Xiao isn't around because uh.... uhhhhhh.... yeah I don't wanna talk about it.

Apart from probably getting confused with being part of the Fatui or hiding in a graveyard half the time (I don't know much about Hu Tao from this AU but I don't think she really cares about gods), I don't exactly think there is a way to get to Inazuma.

Well if we don't count sneaking in the Crux in a storage box and somehow not getting found out.

INAZUMA

Thank god we managed to leave Liyue! Now in Inazuma, we can have a good life-

From sneaking around one of the biggest ships around to almost getting caught while leaving said ship. Maybe even getting a wanted poster on my head by Kanjou commissioners, and having to swim my way outside of Ritou, everything is okay. For now, right...?

NO IT ISNT- because apparently, no one in Inazuma has a higher friendship level than one!! Well except for a certain someone..

After being caught by one of the Shuumatsuban, I got dragged over to the Kamisato estate only to find...

Thoma being the local housewife he is. But no, that's not why we're here, because the Kamisato estate houses the only person that happens to have a high friendship level.

Kamisato Ayaka (F-level 10). The sister of Kamisato Ayato. Safety is shaky, obviously, but being a part of one of the most influential families who happens to be part of the Tri-commission-er is not something to laugh at.

There's the Shuumatsuban, Thoma, and.. the Kamisato family head, Kamisato Ayato. Honestly I just hope Ayaka can convince both Ayato and Thoma, but for the rest I... am not sure.

Ei will probably be the death of me.

TLDR; I definitely have favoritism towards Mondstadt.

Okay some context setting: so when the cast encounters signora in RF nbd is there too. And since his family's whole thing is sharing a face with the anemo archon we thought it'd be funny if they did a little unintentional switcheroo with the two 😁

Signora can't tell who's the archon so she ends up targeting nbd because he runs his mouth more lol. And even if she's wrong, targeting someone from a family favoured by the god would surely draw him out (it does)

Now onto the thoughts!

Man if Venti wasn't fast enough and signora *got* got him,,,, Well for one Venti would be devastated. And nbd is the youngest of the descendants (around 17 as of now?), even younger than NB was towards the end of the rebellion. So I imagine that the other descendants would be somewhat doting and protective of the guy at times (not to mention his unspecified number of biological siblings) they would probably not take any of this well.

Though in this case the blame would likely go to signora first and foremost (rag d, who also lost his dad to the fatui: Maybe I will follow that diluc fellow and go on a fatui killing spree after all-) I can see the political relations between mond and the fatui straining even more because of this cuz no doubt shit got strained in canon but a death? One of a prominent family no less? Yeah that's not gonna slide.

But yeah I think looking at venti would hurt them all for a while. Ad would probably try to approach him the most since she was in on it the longest after nbd and knows venti more as a person. But she was also very close with nbd so oof.

Rag d and Kaeya would probably both need some time. Rag d is in on it and would know the reason but both he and Kaeya were raised very closely with nbd's family because the Ragnvindr line in RF was re-founded by NB via adoption (rip to red haired warrior, died bitchless) so uh that was basically their little brother??? Yeah. I wonder who would be more upset. The guy that knows that venti is a god and thus the reason why nbd had a target put on his back? Or the guy that only knows venti as the "cousin" that popped out of nowhere and has his suspicions about the guy. They'd both go and comfort nbd's family though

Speaking of nbd's family, they're also in the know. So would they look at their (warped and misinterpreted) duty differently? Death was never part of the deal so why did their youngest have to go? Would it be an honour to die with the anemo archon by his side? Or a tragedy because not even a god could stop it?

Jean would probably try to prioritise her duty before her own feelings but her grief might leak through while dealing with the political matters perhaps (maybe Ad will join her and finally use her political skills)

Eula swears vengeance and not just as a form of speaking. You killed her friend, one of the ones who defended her from the people (the other being amber ofc). Prepare to die.

Oh and Venti,,, I wonder what venti would do tbh. I see him as someone who has a good grasp and control over his emotions after so many years of learning to deal with them. But something that /gets/ him is his loved ones getting hurt. Also NB still gets shot in RF he just survives it so nbd getting hurt/killed would probably bring back some nastey memories. So would he let signora leave unscathed is the question 👀
