hey um. so i have like a couple cents left for the next like two and a half weeks. its not life threatening, but I'm pretty bad at feeding myself ordinarily and esp right now when my kitchen's such a biohazard i cant be there more than a minute or two at a time.

Hello! We are Titas [@shadowsnblood] and Bhagya. This blog is part of a university assignment. “–No, I haven’t.“ He pauses for a moment, though, not entirely sure if that’s the right answer. It’s true that he has never taken someone’s life. Hopes he never will. Did come scarily close a few times during the first few weeks in Hellsalem’s lot when he was still getting used to things and had his guard up even higher than now. He really regrets that. Marcus would hate himself even more if he did end up killing someone.

celeste stands a few feet away, making some tea for the office. she’s humming that song that’s been stuck in his head for a while now — softly, but it’s there. and then all too abruptly, she stops, looking puzzled. “i don’t think i’ve ever actually understood the lyrics to that verse until now.”

HER  HUMMING  MELTS  INTO  THE  ABYSS  of  corporate  browns  and  grays.  hummer’s  expression  remains  blank,  blue  gaze  smothered  into  the  neutral  walls.  it  is  undoubtedly  pleasant,  but  gentle  enough  to  just  barely  trace  a  line  through  the  office.  

IN  TRUTH,  HE  WAS  NEVER  too  sure  what  to  do  when  brought  to  the  office.  his  powers  were  for  destruction,  fighting,  not  paperwork  and  strategy  —  this  fact  did  not  escape  him.  in  contrast,  she  carries  a  halo  of  airiness  about  herself.  celeste’s  voice,  the  aroma  of  freshly  brewed  tea,  paints  wide  swatches  onto  the  grays  of  libra.  there  are  pastel  pinks,  vivid  blues,  an  earthy  green  gliding  across  the  canvas.

HE  AWAKENS  ONCE  AGAIN,  focus  turned  instantly  towards  celeste.  a  toothy,  characteristic  grin  is  brought  her  way.  his  tone  carries  an  unabashed  kindness,  warmth,  despite  another’s  blood  running  down  his  throat.

                    ❝   THAT  FACE  YOU  JUST  MADE…  it  was  really  cute!  like,  i  could  see  the  exact  moment  you  understood!   ❞  a  momentary  pause  before  he  speaks  again.  ❝   you  should  start  humming  again!  it  was  really  pretty,  but  i’m  sure  you  already  knew  that.   ❞

    ❝  ?!  ❞   a small squeak escaped the heroics student as she heard a few books spill from the shelves behind her , raven hues glancing backwards to find the cause of the ruckus . she stood abruptly , nearly knocking over her chair , before moving over to begin collecting the fallen items . after a few moments it seemed to occur to her to actually speak to the person she was assisting , straightening her posture with a few books gathered in her arms , eyes wide ,  ❝  uhm ... do you need help  ?  ❞  //  @faustianbargaining ; starter call

It all started with a supposedly simple murder case (not like there could be a complicated case when he was the one solving it), which later turned out to be not so simple. It wasn’t that he couldn’t solve it, far from it. It didn’t take more than a quick glance at the body to figure out the modus operandi and the killer. That was where the real problem lied.

Three shots to the chest and a shattered jaw. They knew exactly what it meant.

And that was when things went to hell. Quite literally.

Maybe they left compromising evidence behind and decided to come back for it, maybe they were trying to find and silence a possible witness, Ranpo didn’t have enough time to look at the scene to know before the bullets started flying.

Some part of him was vaguely aware that this was exactly the reason to why the president always insisted on having someone with him every time he had a case to work on, but he didn’t really have the time to focus on that thought before being forcefully dragged behind a wall for cover.

His mind was already working as fast as possible, taking in every single detail that could help them get out of this situation alive. Then, he felt something warm and wet dripping on his arm. There was a bullet wound on Dazai’s shoulder.

This was simply getting worse by the minute.

     he was taken aback, visible brow shooting up as he blinked. geez, who pissed in her cheerios? he was trying to be a deep for once and he gets snapped at? guess what he’s not doing again. he should’ve snapped back, mind whirring on instinct to be a complete jackass; one almost slipping from his tongue that he squashed with a sigh. 

         “ look, miss, i’ll be real for a second. you look like you could use someone to talk to and i get the feeling i’m the only one around willing to put up with your bullshit. ” and out the window went his friendly beginning, leaning with his back to the railing as he let his head tip back.

they appear as if from nowhere at kuhiro's shoulder, eyes alight with mischief and curiosity. "did you receive any chocolates today, himura-kun?"and without waiting for an answer, kurosaki produces a small black box tied with an elegant cord. "i enjoyed your company the other day. i hope you'll accept this gift of appreciation. perhaps we could do another puzzle sometime."

    admittedly , he jumps at kurosaki's sudden appearence , having been far too invested in watching the tv on the wall of their dorm common room . the fur on his tail noticeably stands on end  (  ' fluffs ' as many would say , much to his chagrin  )  && he knows it will take a few minutes to settle . to help ease the process he smooths the fur down with one hand , taking the offered gift with the other  ----  ears twitching curiously .

    ❝  woah  ----  thank you kurosaki-kun  !  i had a great time hanging out with you too , we should definitely hang out again .  ❞  he offers them a wide grin , genuine for once  (  this is the first time he'd received a gift on valentines day  )  . after a moment he stands ,  ❝  gimme one minute , i'll be right back .  ❞

    kuhiro, true to his word, returns almost as soon as he leaves , hands folded behind his back . once he's close enough he presents his own small box , white in color , with a small card atop it  (  inside they'd find a small sketch of themself and kuhiro doing a puzzle , done in a cutesy style  )  ,  ❝  i wasn't sure when you'd prefer i give this to you with the traditions on valentines  &&  white day , so is today alright  ?  ❞
